Islands of Shiro have their skies violently gray, not letting a single particle the sunlight entering because of the huge, polluting smokes. Even though Shiro is not an official State, San Sierra has faced one of the worst war assaults by a foreign nation in it's history. The archipelago's governor tried to declare a national state of emergency, but because of cut communication, it's no use right now. Despite continuous bombings from the Charitian fleet and air force, the San Sierran military refused to surrender. Phalanx anti-missile systems continue attempting to shoot down missiles and now incoming helicopters.

The squadron of fourty Multi-role fighter aircraft is approaching the Charitian strike fleet. Orders given from the runways before they took off, they split in half, with both of them twenty aircraft. The first half, which were targeted by the destroyer Yuuko, is attempting to pass over the Charitian aircraft, they have something planned, while the other half is heading directly to both destroyers of Yuuko and Zaiho. Before the split off, 4 unfortunate aircraft have been taken down by SAMs fired from Yuuko. The ones heading to the destroyers fly above the waters, attempting to be undetected. They have thought unlikely for it, but they try to aim at the destroyer Yuuko with air-to-surface missiles, thus firing them.

Despite all the combat and surrender refusals, this battle is likely for the San Sierran army to face it's first major defeat in the war.

~ At the incoming fleets: Gladiadora F1 and Gladiadora F2 ~

At the fleet of Gladiadora F1 and at the cruiser Coraliza, which is the command ship of the fleet, marines and crew members are gathered at the deck of the warship. Marines are talking to each other, sometimes questioning why the admiral gathered them here. When Admiral Óscar Manzanares walks in, marines and crewmembers have begun to be silent, the admiral inhales and exhales, ready to give a speech.

"Attention, brave men and women of San Sierra, I gathered you here for I have something to say. We have heard reports of the battle in Shiro, we have lost it to the Charitians, and it may be our first major defeat of the war. But not to worry, the fall of Shiro is just the beginning of the war, and pray to those that have died in the battle. Remember your training, we can fight Charitia and that kick that b-tch empress Hajira. We have special forces ready for action in case we need to launch an amphibious assault to re-occupy the archipelago, remember to shoot at anything that has the Charitian flag. We WILL win this war, now get on your stations and ready yourselves for a naval combat. ¡Arriba San Sierra!"

Marines and crew members have cheered on the speech, returning to their stations later on.

~ At the mainland ~

The San Sierran Army and Air Force have readied everything planned in both Cielonova and Vivatán, they have readied their Anti-Sat missiles against passing Charitian satellites (especially spy satellites), as they first await it.
