Party president: Raul Carretero.Status: Lost over half seats, remains strong in parliament.Originally founded as Movimiento para la Cuarta República in late 2029 by a left-wing activist Alfredo Agramonte, el Partido de la Rosa Roja (Sanctish for Red Rose Party) is a political party operating inside the parliament of the Republic of San Sierra. Having accomplished it's original goals, it's new goals will be internationalism and overall Democratic Socialism. It's most famous figure is Cecilia Colina, the only Alcatus politician and the youngest in the government as well, for listening to the people of San Sierra and making sure that the country lives on for what it achieved in it's past revolution, democracy.
Partido Progresiva. Party president: Mohamed Olloqui.Status: Assumed control over executive and senate offices through public election.Partido Progresiva, possibly founded by it's first ruling president Juan David Amengual in mid-2029, is a large party by seats of parliament. It aims for human development, social equality and economic liberalization. The party consists of both left-wingers and right-wingers, all moderates. Many politicians and delegates from the party also aimed for foreign intervention, while others spoke against foreign intervention unless absolutely necessary. This party has become the very first one to allow alcatuses and various near-human sapients the rights to vote and equal rights with pure humans. People believe that this party was an official continuation of the old Partido Progresiva that was founded since the end of the San Sierran revolution, politicians there admitted that it is indeed a spiritual continuation of the party.
Liga del Aguila. Party president: Mateo Mesonero.Status: Made comeback in parliament.La Liga del Aguila, Sanctish for 'The Eagle's League' or 'The League of the Eagle', is a nationalist political party consisting of right wingers. Each type of their delegates and politicians are nicknamed by the party, other parties and the public. These nicknames are: Cesabít, the most moderate ones; Medio, mixture of moderate and extremist; And Vehemento, the most extremist ones, and probably even violent. Plurals are Cesabitos, Medios and Vehementos, they are all Sanctishized words from Natin (Latin), even though they are also fancy words from existing ones. Ligua del Aguila was originally called Partido Honorista, following the widespread nationalist ideology of Honorism until an honourist-led country massacred ethnic Sierrans.
Camino al Galactismo. Party president: Carlos Savielevich.Status: Holds no offices, but holds strong in the parliament.Camino al Galactismo, Sanctish for 'Path to Galactism', is a political party following the Plazanic ideology of Galactism. It used to rule the nation with executive office twice, and it has succeeded national accomplishments as much as it failed in foreign policy. It aims for absolute social equality, scientific advancement and strengthening the military. It's accomplishments are universal and free healthcare, increasing rates of college attendance, reducing the amount of recreational drug usage and production (both by state-funded therapy and law enforcement), shown the national pride of San Sierra, performing the first liberation of Karatol-Advenra, peacefully stopped a war in Estande. It's failures are permanently preventing more civil wars in neighboring countries, international diplomacy (they have gained more enemies than allies) and performing a second liberation on Karatol-Advenra. Nevertheless, they still hold many seats in the parliament.
Partido Real Nuevo. Party president: Gael Botero.Status: Split.El Partido Real Nuevo, Sanctish for New Royal Party, is a monarchist party split off of the Partido de Restauración Imperial due to disagreements. This party advocates for the restoration of the Altusian Empire (Or in Sanctish, Imperio Altuso). The party, ironically, is also the most anti-democratic political party inside the parliament, where they support the House of Aguilero, who are thirsty for revenge on democratic revolutionaries back in 1916. The House of Aguilero, if the imperial restoration occurs on their favor, either wants to restrict the constitution and democratic institutions, or hold absolute power while holding semi-federal elements with their family members in charge of mainland subdivisions.
Partido de Restauración de la Corona. Party president: Thiago Notario.Status: Split.Partido de Restauración de la Corona, Sanctish for Crown Restoration Party, is a political party that advocates for the restoration of the Altusian Empire, or in Sanctish, Imperio Altuso, while also advocating for a constitutional monarchy. However, unlike the Partido Real Nuevo, the PRC (CRP) wants to maintin the current democratic and voting system, while also supporting a different monarchic house as a figure head of this new empire. They support of the House of Savanezes, which is a dynastic house that had history of fighting in crusades and having royal blood, but have never taken the throne of the Altius Imperium. Unión de Solidaridad. Party president: Salvador Conde.Status: Growing party.Unión de Solidaridad or Solidarity Union is a moderate conservative political party with religious influence. They aim to install a Democratic system based off the dominant religion Sanquis/Sanguis Catholicism and remove secular laws. It is currently the smallest party in the parliament, and said party has been criticized for "advocating for a theocracy" and been accused as "hypocrites" since they have planned policies to tax non-Christians and atheists more. Despite all the criticism, the party grows in membership.
Partido Comunista de San Sierra. Party president: Ignacio Biescas.Status: Growing party, yet smallest in parliament.El Partido Comunista de San Sierra, or Communist Party of San Sierra, is a yet small political party that holds the smallest amount of seats in parliament. Despite the size of the party, it seems to have growing support from far-leftists, especially from those under poverty in more unequal states inside San Sierra. This party was formerly part of el Frente del Pueblo Unido (People's United Front), but since it's supposed founder Arturo Molinero disliked being associated with terrorists, it has broken off from their coalition, being it's own party now. Like in the name, it aims for a communist economy and worker's rights. Minor advocations are improving relations with eastern nations, especially ones with broken relations.
Frente del Pueblo Unido. Party president: None.Status: Popularity plummeted after Communist Party split, on the verge of dissolution.El Frente del Pueblo Unido, Sanctish for People's United Front, is a political party that used to be in the parliament, but isn't anymore. It hasn't called itself much a political party, but rather a coalition of people with various far-left ideologies, most predominantly anarcho-communism. It's main goals is to completely abolish the Republic of San Sierra and re-establish it as a confederation of communes with no central capitals. It's leadership would be either a decentralized leader or a group of council members in any area. Formerly, they were a terrorist and guerrilla group titled 'Fuerzas del Pueblo Unido' (People's United Forces), but was transferred to being a legal party in regards of peace negotiations with government forces. Right now, it is on the verge of dissolution, but many say that it's legacy will always live on.
Movimiento para la Cuarta República wins again.
With realization that people could easily force bad leaders resign and a member from the 4th Republic Movement admitted their mistakes and stepped down, the ruling party has received what is considered a "landslide" across the Republic of San Sierra. They felt like they actually needed a fourth republic right now. The 4th Republic Movement has won the election by 54% votes, truly a significant victory. Raul Carretero is elected president, while Cecilia Colina is elected third term. This will be her last term according to the San Sierran constitution that dictates term maximums. All other parties except for Crown Restoration Party have lost seats. The CRP has received thirteen seats due to growing monarchist support.
