It's euphoria. Acceptance, too. I've finally moved on from the follies of the past, whether my own or others'. I'm happy with where I am now. I no longer need to protect a fragile peace. I no longer need to protect a region, no, my home, from the brink of elimination.
It is not that I do not want to. Now, it's that there is no necessity: yet I continue anyway. I have been operating covertly against fascists for many months now, and I do not intend on ceasing. The fascists are beaten, but not broken. Yet. I will bring them down, or god forbid I will go out trying.
