Formal Address from the Prime Minister to the Citizens of Sonindia
April 10th, 2020
This is such a difficult time for everyone. Not only through the struggles of quarantine, being forced to stay inside, difficulties with work, school, and other complications the current state of the world has brought upon us, but through the suffering our fellow man is facing. All of us are impacted in some way, through sick loved ones, being separated from our friends and family, forced away from those we love, and I personally want to say I'm here for you all. This region will continue to function as a safe place and an escape from the uncertainty and the stress that awaits us away from our screens. Free from sickness, from suffering, from fear, this community will support you no matter what, and I personally will do everything in my power to make this a Sanctuary from fear. We in our hearts must remain resilient as we continue through these next few weeks. If you need any support, advice, just someone to be with you and to talk about what you're going through, please do not hesitate to message me either here on NationStates or on Discord @Gerdon Laughis#2015.

The government is using this excuse of a virus to scare people from going outside to spray more chemtrails. Abolish government

I don't know about chemtrails but the restrictions set by governments are, if not here to stay, at least coming back easier. What I mean by this is that now that governments have seen that people are willing to accept exteme infringment of their constitutional rights if a sufficient crisis occurs, governments are able to do it again. We have also seen the first true dictatorship emerge from within EU as the Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán got the ability to rule by decree. I think this sets a dangerous precedent for future national emergencies.

I think it's fair to say that the stay-at-home orders and the calls to quarantine are all good and necessary, but we should certainly never be so willing to throw up our hands and ask the government to save us, whatever it takes. "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
