Answer issues in ways that would increase social freedom, and you get more of 'em. Do the opposite, and you'll get less.
i just broke up monopolies and the average income of poor people dropped... WTF?!
What? *confused*

Monopolies provided minimum wage jobs that they wouldn’t have now
minimum wage isn't as much a killer to small businesses as are massive corporations, and it some cases they help small businesses.
Also, higher wages should come from strong regulated unions, not the "mercy" of faceless corporations
that sounds cool. id also be interested to see how technocrats "justify" (for lack of a better world) human rights
Human rights are the fundamental rights of every human. I think they are the basis for a fair and caring society. They should ensue that everyone is provided for, everyone is treated with dignity, everyone is treated equally by the law and given a fair trial, the right to seek asylum, etc. I'm not entirely sure why anyone, technocrat or otherwise, would be opposed to them. Unfortunately they're often completely ignored. And too many people have had to 'justify' their rights to the majority, who often have all these rights themselves.

There's nothing fundamental about anything political. Rights, driving regulations, whether or not you can hunt for ivory... etc. Your rights, such as they are, derive from the political entity you exist within. This stuff doesn't exist by magic, on its own, as a force of nature. Nothing will actually happen to you if you violate "human rights" without an entity around to observe and punish you. This is why building a responsibly governed state is so important.

I 100% agree that rights aren't fundamental or given to us just because. I think our rights are whatever we claim and can demand them to be. We select what rights we think we deserve and then start the eternal struggle to maintain them.
