Aaaand now she's boasting about how she's going to destroy his masters and so on and so forth. Honestly, with this level of occupational risk, he wouldn't be against it. Still, he had to make some attempt to prevent her from going down a path she'd come to regret.

"I'VE ALREADY WARNED YOU NOT TO DO THA- HEY OW WAIT WAIT WAIT! TIMEOUT! FOUL PLAY! RED LIGHT!"

Pain. Sure, he'd sustained some damage during the prior fighting, but this was the first time in forever it'd gone beyond warnings and system pings. He felt actual pain at this, and it led to him panicking, frantically attempting to stop her attack using whatever he had access to. He only barely managed to send a quip Markos' way, his voice crackling.

"I WISH IT WAS DRUGS, I REALLY DO. BUT THIS IS REAL, AND IT KINDA HURTS."

It was at that moment that Penny stopped. Her eyes had turned green again and she realized now what she had been doing. The blades retracted as a small object came out where the tip of her finger was. “Now it’s my turn to do some digging,” she said as she hacked into Sleipnir’s mainframe.

At this point Markos was more confused than ever.
He noticed the other woman who had just come down the stairs again, and decided that was probably the only place he was going to get answers.
"Excuse me, miss," He yelled out. "Do you have any idea what's going on here?"

“Aside from keeping you alive, she’s hacking him...I think,” Sinon said. “I don’t suppose there’s a rifle nearby, is there?”

Things somehow managed to get worse for Sleipnir. You would've thought that being impaled again and again would be the height of his downfall, but then she stopped. Seemed like a lucky break at first. His ability to operate had been severely hampered, but he could still take her on!

So of course, she had to decide to turn the tables on him completely and hack him.

"DON'T YOU DARE-"

At which point he ceased talking, as his systems automatically rerouted his processing power to combating the breach. If it wasn't for the damage he'd sustained this would've been a near-impossible endeavour, but as he was now, he was vulnerable. Still, he wasn't going to simply let her comb his mind like that, so he put everything he could into fighting her back and preventing her from accessing some particularly valuable things. Such as his travel routes and the locations of both home base and various other places he'd been to.

At this point, Penny was focusing on altering Sleipnir’s programming, to eliminate the murderous robot and make him a bit more...friendly. She was also trying to see how and if he was able to send messages to his superiors. Of course, he was putting up a fight but she was ready for him.

She now found herself in his programming and there was a lot to absorb. “I apologize for the stab wounds,” she said. “Omega Protocol overrides most of my basic functions...”

"No, no. I mean what the heck is the entirety of this thing occuring in my face and what is the leadup to these 2 robots falling through my car rental's roof? Also, if that rifle was yours, which I thought it was, I think it's somewhere near my car. It's the one, that as aformentioned, has a ruined car door and roof."

"Apology accepted. Not that I'm in any position to deny it right now."

He was a lot less threatening in his head, even more so with how weak he was right now. He wasn't going to just give up, but he already felt his control over his own body slipping as his defenses slowly but surely crumbled.

""Interstellar artificial intelligence assassin" isn't the most secure job, in hindsight. Would've definitely become a florist or something if it wasn't for being forced to serve. Won't be a problem once you change my code around, I suppose, can't do much to fight it now. But some resistance makes it more fun!"

Wilson merely nodded

"You seem otherworldly..." She said in a sort of quiet murmur, causing Richardson and Greene to look at eachother. Wilson quickly explained her statement.

"I mean no offense of course, I never have met someone not from earth before." She gave the first genuine smile of the day. It was clear there was much more behind the shell than the nationalist that she painted herself to be. As she sat down so did Richardson.

"Alright lets begin with this... what do you know..."

Wilson nodded, gulping from her own nerves for a second before speaking...

"Believe me when I say this but I really don't know much."

Greene through her hands up.

"Well isn't that the statement of the year then..."

Richardson raised his hand, silencing her. She went to quiet and annoyed murmurs. Richardson ignored her for a second as he looked over to Wilson, who finally continued.

"Though what I do know is that White had been apparently planning this for a while... he and some of his Cabinet had a lot of closed door meetings.. literally he only told me about it maybe an hour before it happened over a damn phone call! Told me to rally the party behind him!"

"Rally the party? For what? The Floridian Nationalists love him I thought..."

Wilson laughed.

"Yeah alright... you really think we're as harcore as him and his inner circle are?"

Greene looked at her.

"We thought you were his inner circle."

"In congress yes but in the Executive far from it... that's where most of the action pertaining to this happened. So sure you can go knocking on Congressmen's doors but they wouldn't know more than I do. Though I can point you where to look..."

Richardson sighed.

"What do you want in return..?"

Wilson stood up for a second, looking down to Richardson.

"Protection."

Greene rolled her eyes.

"No way woman, you really think we-"

Richardson cut her off again.

"Hmm... we can see what we can do. Keep in contact?"

Wilson shook his hand.

"Will do. Though please... see if you can find a way... I can't do another term under Whites Iron Heel... and if you all are here it only means what happened to the Inca might just happen here... and the last thing I need is my head on a fvcking pike."

Greene scoffed.

"Well maybe you should've toned it down on the nationalism maybe?"

Wilson looked at her.

"You don't get it... the way my district is formed I had to appeal to that crowd. The Florida Whigs were caving to the Alabamite Left while the Nationals wanted a hardliner and chose me for some reason... turned me from a known moderate to a staunch anti-carolinian floridian nationalist."

She sighed

"You think I want people to get hurt? You think I reallt hate the Carolinians with such a passion? You must know nothing about how politics works then..."

Greene sighed, walking forwards.

"Maybe I don't... so good thing I don't care."

She grabbed onto the congresswoman's dress, pulling her forwards. Richardson merely watched, the scene playing out as any romance born from hatred would. He couldn't help but smirk a little, something told him he'd be seeing Wilson much more in the future.

Greene then spoke.

"So then don't talk to me about playing politics. I only respect one force in this world and that is strength."

She let go with force, causing the congresswoman to fallback a little and stumble. Richardson couldn't help but notice the slight blush on the womans face. She had been charmed by Greene, though it seemed Greene was too hot tempered to realize it at the time. Richardson nodded to her and then looked at Blake.

"Blake? Do you have any questions for the young congresswoman?"

Greene nodded in mild appreciation, taking a peek at her quickly before turning back. Wilson noticed and smirked as she headed back into her office, though the two remained silent and out of the view of Richardson.

"Alright Foreign Affairs it is, we might be able to win over Defense if Wilsons intel is right afterwards."

Captain Ozzel, who has seen his share of oddities in the years since joining the Navy, wasn’t that surprised. “How many?”

“At least twenty...corvette-sized at least. No sign of the Gozanti-class.”

“I don’t like this...” Ozzel said. “Proceed with caution and have shields ready in case of an ambush...” If these were pirates, this would be the perfect trap to lure in unsuspecting ships... “And get a message out to Alliance HQ.” Just in case they didn’t survive this trip.

Destiny: "Negative my love,"

Cadet: "Eh? Why? They are in a perfect position to be blown to bits!"

Cadet: "But Admiral, what will the other Admirals do,"

Destiny: "Admiral Silverdreamer is a Lethean, and Letheans are so full of pride and feel higher than the rest of us that they will go out of their ways to prove us wrong. Cadet: "No. . . That can't be!"

Destiny: "You have a beautiful wife? Or lovely children, Cadet?"

Cadet: "Yes," he says, she then puts her hand on his shoulder, her hand being covered by a white glove.

Destiny: "I'm sorry to say this to you Cadet, and the rest of the crew, though the only thing right now we can do is put faith in the Gods and Goddesses, because this may be the end of life in Tyl Quadrus. You can only pray they make their deaths quick and not have them suffer. Or perhaps they gone into the bunkers at this point," she says, "A shameful display, though if we attack, we may expose ourselves and the last of our kin will die along with it." She replies.
