Sleipnir got a thumbs up from Sinon as they reached the car, only to realize...
“Wait, how are we going to get Sleipnir there?” Asuna asked.
"Depends on how much the car can carry. I'm heavier than a human, by my very nature, but I may be able to get snug in the back compartment without any consequence."
“Okay that’s five of us, plus Penny who lay on top of three of us,” Sinon said. “Heidi, you know where to go so you’re driving.”

As the soldiers entered the building, it was if they entered a dark cave. All of the lights, cameras, and power sources had been killed. The team swept through the building finding hiding soldiers and civilian contractors in every corner of the building. Under desks, around corners, trying to break into weapons lockers. All that remained were bodies and blood. As the team rounded the last corridor to the communications hub, flashes of light passed by them and struck the wall behind them. From the rate of fire and impact holes, Reaper concluded that there was a team of eight between them and their target. Instead of risking a shootout, Reaper deployed a "Spider", a brand new product of Kang Tao armaments. The little eight legged grenade walked along the top of the ceiling right over the group of security forces and dropped. A little explosion, some bounding shrapnel, and all of the enemy contacts had been taken out.
As the team breached the final doors, only two combatants remained with pistols that couldn't even scratch the armor after they had gotten a few shots off. After the building was clear, they began what they came here to do. Two breached the server room underneath the floor which sent out a wave of scorching hot air into the room. One prepared the data chip, the other climbed down into the corridor and found the main server. The chip was inserted and the infestation began to spread. The first was a program to hide and infest itself in communications. Spreading to any communications device that was connected to this communications hub and any that tried to intercept any communications from this station. A sleeper bug of sorts. The second was a more destructive bug. This one was tasked with eating as much as possible and scrambling it. Communications, encrypted, scrambled, and unusable. Data was shredded, pasted, and shifted into incomprehensible packages. The last bug worked before the previous one, but this one had a larger, more important task. This one scanned, copied, and transmitted data. What Greater Florida knew, we would soon know. Every single piece of information that passed through this terminal would soon be ours. The second team of two began countermeasures. It would be a while before Greater Florida could get their communications hubs back in order, but they still had methods of short range communication until now. The second pair began changing frequencies, codes, logins, everything and anything to prevent short term, short range communications. The final pair had the task of prepping the scene. What Greater Florida wouldn't see is a team of six heavily armored individuals infiltrating their compound. What they would see would be a joint effort of BlackStone and ONI operatives from Ventus Prime and Jakkonia infiltrating their communications hub. While this wasn't necessarily a targeting of Jakkonia or the BlackStone operatives, it was against the Ventusians. With their non-discreet arrival and recent interactions with the BlackStone operatives, it would cause trouble for the Ventusians and hopefully BlackStone would make enough noise of their own for our teams to slip out unnoticed.
Once the data had been taken, the communications jammed, and the stage set to pin it on the other two nations operating in Greater Florida, the team exiled. Soon the compound would be swarming with Greater Florida's rapid response unit after the communications failure was noticed. As the team walked out, a black van pulled up to collect them. Following the same path used to make it to the facility, the van drove away, the lights and cameras whirred back to life. In the underpass, the black layer of paint was stripped showing a white plumbing company van with new plates. The van drove back to the safehouse where preparations were already being made to leave. Frostbite walked up to Reaper and handed him a paper.
"Look at this, apparently you managed to grab a communication meant for Texas, but they won't get it now. Apparently they wanted to ask for Texas to assist them in an invasion of the New united carolinas."
"Prepare an encrypted transmission to our embassy and they'll pass it along. We have a boat to catch."
With that, the team packed up and left. Leaving the hotel room the same as when they got there. Not a single hint of them remained. The team left St. Augustine and traveled to Palatka where they would take a ferry to Jacksonville where their plane would be waiting to fly them to Gabon.
"Got it. But, uh..."
She turned around as she was about to enter the driver's seat, appearing worried as she addressed Sleipnir.
"...be careful with the box back there. He sometimes gets hyperactive."
"What's THAT supposed to mean?"
"Don't worry about it."
"I call shotgun." Markos says as he comes up to the car, and begins entering the front seat.
The two females gave him a weird look as they went in the back with Sleipnir. “Uh...what’s in the box?” Sinon asked, looking between Asuna and Heidi.
"It's... uh... a friend, let's put it like that. Seriously, as long as someone doesn't mess with the box while we're on the road it's not important."
She wasn't making the situation any better.
“Right...” They strapped in, as best as they could, while Heidi took the wheel. “Well, there goes it fresh made beds,” Sinon sighed.
"..Alright then." Markos says, slightly worried. "Hey, can we get some music playing in here?"
"Sacrifices have to be made, I'm afraid. Get comfy, folks."
And so, they began the drive towards the building where Heidi had spent so much of her time, the hub of all of her efforts, and all of her in general.
The Althing Building's basement would have foreign souls in it once again.
Hello there
Sinon whistled, seeing the building. “That’s where you’ve been living all this time? Almost looks like a fortress.”
“Well, considering she is both the leader and the main power force in Bucksden, is that really a surprise?” Asuna asked.
((OOC: How is you?))
((OOC: Your post is a good idea, though we would like a bit more details so that it doesn't appear god modding, such as how it was prepared, the generals and people you have enticed over the years and pampered, how you transported equipment and advisors to Muscovy, etc.
It is recommended could spread your post out and make it longer.))

Eclipse hadn't much any idea to what the xeno's were saying. Though as they lowered their weapons.
Eclipse: "Marines, stand down. Hostilities defused, for now." she says as she got up and checked the other marines who were either dead or lying on the ground, "Medic! I need you to check if these 2 Marines are alive!"
Medic: "Yes ma'am!" he says as he turns them over and flips them onto their fronts, removing their helmet and body armour and checking their pulse by their chest and their breathe. Opening their eyes and bringing a flashlight to see if their pupils will dilate or react to the sudden intensity of light, "Ma'am, the two Marines are dead."
Eclipse: "damn it, names?"
Medic: "Private First Class Maisie Gill and Lance Corporal Kate Knight."
Eclipse: "Relay this to the Admiral, the Confederate HQ will deal with the families and children of the Marine's." she says, as the Medic gave her a bottle of medical alcohol. She closed the eyes of the Marines and poured a bit of the alcohol onto her hand and wiped the Marine's faces with it, "May you not suffer and be stretched into Hell, may your afterlife be a quick one." she said and prayed. It seems as though Eclipse had been more preoccupied with the dead than with Sergeant Damien Hunter.
By the time she was finished, there was a sudden announcement that Captain Ozzel had just entered the hangar. He went up to Hunter, who quickly saluted. “Sergeant, I hope you have good news,” he said.
“I’m afraid it’s a bit of both,” Hunter replied. “The good news is we managed to cease hostilities, due to a misunderstanding. The bad news is they speak a language we can’t translate.”
“I see...what was this misunderstanding?”
“Apparently they thought we were droids...despite her looks, the leader here doesn’t appear to be Kapteynian.”
Ozzel sighed. “Regardless, they lost five ships...” Now he was wondering if they were in over their heads. Unless...
Ozzel brought out his holopad, switching to tablet model, which allowed you to draw via stylus. Ozzel never thought his few years of taking art classes would pay off right now.
“Sir?” Hunter asked, looking a bit confused.
“Sergeant, we may not be able to communicate via words, but we could still do so via pictures. As the old saying goes, ‘a picture is worth a thousand words.’”
He then walked over to Eclipse once he was finished and cleared his throat. “My name is Captain Ozzel of the Alliance Navy. I realize we can not communicate with words but we may have a different solution.” He then handed her the holopad, which currently depicted three objects. The first was the Gozanti-class ship (at much smaller detail), the second was the planet below them, and the third was an arrow connecting the two.
“We believe one of our ships crashed on your planet and we believe there may have been survivors. If there’s anything you can tell us, we’d be grateful.”
"The real fortress is below the building. Turrets, drones flying about... the basement isn't a place you'd want to be attacking, trust me. It also happens to be one of the better places for mechanical repairs in Bucksden, not to brag."
Heidi parked the car outside the building, getting out and moving around to the back.
"Can you guys make sure Penny gets in? I want to carry the thing I was talking about myself."
“Of course.” Asuna and Sinon helped carry Penny inside, both marveling at the large building and soon what they would see inside.
Markos enters the building, fairly impressed at the design and architecture, and begins heading downstairs with the group.
Sleipnir and Heidi weren't far behind, Heidi leading the way as they carried the long box between themselves. Soon enough, they reached the entrance to the basement of the building, and Heidi put the box on her shoulder as she opened the way down into the depths.
"There we go. Getting access is normally next-to-impossible, but this is like inviting you guys into my house."
"It's a lot nicer than my house." Markos quips, thinking back to his apartment littered with trash, laundry, and instant ramen containers.
Once they reached the bottom, they could hear a low humming nearby. “Let me guess...is that your mainframe?” Sinon asked.
"If you enjoy hardcore utilitarian design and wires, then yeah, this is a work of art. It has a certain charm to it, I will admit."
And so they went down into the dim void below...
Heidi nodded.
"Bingo. Before I started sleeping in the apartment with Penny, this was where I spent most of my time. Not exactly homely, but it's a testament to the power of human ingenuity combined with dire circumstances. Or, in other words, it's a cobbled-together heap of computers, servers and circuitry, all centered around an artifact that we don't entirely understand. That being my core. We should be approaching one of the automated workshops..."
They passed an open door leading into a room bursting with machinery, but strangely tranquil in terms of actual activity. Only a few drones buzzed about inside, fixing up their brethren and pushing each other about when they had nothing else to do.
"...about three seconds ago. Sleipnir, back up a little, we're here."
"No need to be pushy. I can only walk so fast thanks to that girlfriend of yours."
"Shut up."
They then took Penny inside and out her on one of the tables. “So now what?” Asuna asked. Sinon seemed transfixed on the drones.
