Lazarenes are pretty hardy folks, given we've survived foreign occupations and coups, and are still here.

As long as Tubbius, myself, the CLS, and loyal Lazarenes have high endorsements, we are pretty secure though.

Are you sure? hides knife behind back

Greetings fellow Lazarenes. My apologies for not setting up the second LazEndo poll in time, I have had some medical issues that prevented me from..pretty much doing anything. I am back and better than ever though, so expect the next poll later today.

The results of the previous poll, then. It's been a neck to neck race, but the winner in the end is..mozzarella with a whopping 47 votes. If pizza were associated with a type of cheese, it is mozzarella. Hereby I declare mozzarella the most popular Lazarene cheese! I expect to see big rises in the cheese export industries.

Oh I see, my mistake Communism with meese aspects or All meece are equal but some are more equal than others, Orwellian and revisionism.

Some "people" here have very low opinion of that. It is a stain over some of our preferred sociopolitical branches.

The condition of the Timofeyevich, to put it in the words of the wise many before Alexei, was a fustercluck.

Within the first hour of sailing, there was a fistfight in the commissary, complete failure of electronic systems, and an unfortunate accident involving someone’s fingers when a deck gun was attempted to be forcefully brought back into service.

Although the run-down ship moored at the dockyards did not appeal to Kutznetzov immediately, he assumed that it was a hardy ship under the rusted surface and had some advantages that he could not foresee. However, never had his senses been so terribly wrong, as nearly every kilometer the ship traveled a new technical issue arose.
To address these issues, Counter-Admiral Kutznetzov usually relied on the captain, a dirty-faced man who looked as if they were watching their career go down the drain; nevertheless, the issues persisted and Alexei looked for a new flagship.

“What do you mean, you’re leaving the Timofeyevich?” The scruffy captain had inquired.

“I mean that this ship is hardly capable of sailing, never mind serve as a flagship. I’ve decided to move to the Miś, since they seem to be faring better than this tin can.” Alexei saluted the old captain as a motor boat with two others was lowered from the side of the deck. He could get used to being an Admiral, because then he could opt not to put up with an officer’s mess of a command.

On the Miś, supposedly the most advanced surface warship in the Cossack Navy, was a fairly spacious command deck with remarkable cleanliness and streamlined appearance to the design. According to the shipwrights in Korf, if the design fared well they would authorize a hundred of the design before moving onto another line.

As soon as Kutznetzov arrived to his new flagship, nothing but a frigate, panic seemed to ensue.
The Hun reports a large score of unidentified naval vessels off their starboard.
The Timofeyevich is not reporting the Admiral onboard, no orders have been issued.
Ensigns and Lieutenants began to fly from station to station, monitor to monitor, attempting to identify the ships they saw and inquire about orders from any person of a higher rank than they were.

Enter Alexei Kutznetzov, seemingly a rock against the turbulent sea of uniformed men and women. Unable to assess the madness, Alexei stepped away from the door of the command center and drifted towards a nearby officer, a lieutenant, by the look of it.

“Where can I find the captain of this vessel?” Alexei asked, stepping away to let an ensign through where he had stood. The lieutenant gave him a dazed, unfocused look before responding,

“He’s somewhere over there, I think.”

So, Kutznetzov sauntered towards the location, forced to stop and start because of sailors darting back and forth in his path. At last, he arrived at what seemed to be the captain, who was hunched over a railing shouting orders loudly in a heavily Korf-styled accent. Seeing the Admiral approach out of the corner of his eye, the Captain exclaimed,

“I told you to stay on comms, Seaman!”
“Captain, I’m Counter-Admiral Kutznetzov, I’d like to be put on the frequency.” The captain jerked their head towards Kutznetzov as if they’d been insulted, and then did a double take upon noticing the decorations on Alexei’s uniform. Snapping to attention, the captain did a tight salute and shouted equally as loudly,
“Sir!”
“At ease, Captain. I’d like to take command of the ship, and first, let me in on what’s going on. Then give me a speaker, Ради бля.”
*********
“Were we expecting them?” Asked Kutznetzov, in a call to the mainland after reestablishing control over the fleet.
“Yes, the Dernellians were sending a task group for a military exercise. Nothing to worry about, they’re friends.”

Admiral Pannerelli, commander of the Damocles class Carrier The Aldington, Hailed the Cossack Naval group, "Heeeyyyy," he said with a Texan drawl, "Easy there. Noticed your guns are heatin' up. Probably best we don't get into a tissie out here, at least between us." He hoped this would work, he turned to the communications worker,
"Is it done recording?"
"Well, now it is."
"Clip off the end and send that o'er."
"Yes sir."
The worker replied so quickly he almost slurred his words together to the point of sounding like one. The admiral was tired with the long day, he decided it would be best to retire to his quarters. The admiral began to head out of the bridge, and through the halls, several lower ranking officers snapped salutes to the admiral, he ignored every single one of them. Chuckling in his head, "God, sucks to be them, havin' to sit there 'til I tell 'em to stop." he continued to his quarters and he sat down at his desk, opened a drawer, pulled out a Chianti bottle and removed its cork, poured himself a glass and enjoyed it over an hour of mindless activities. He was about to retire to his cot when he remembered, "[Redacted] did I forget to tell those kids to stop saluting?" then promptly pulled up the PA system, "At ease." he said most likely confusing more than half the ship. He started laughing out loud, before retiring to his bed.

x) Did you know that yellow doesn't actually exist objectively? I heard recently that it's just a blur of other colors that one's brain interprets as "yellow", and apparently the way that happens is different for everyone. News to me since I thought it depended on wavelength... but maybe that wavelength just doesn't happen much and it's a mixture we usually see? I dunno, I should do more research on the subject before talking about it. :P

But white and red are fine colors I suppose so indeed; a very nice flag!
