Due to the lack of any legislative activity by the current Kavonian Senate, the Ministers of Kavonia have decided that, effective immediately, all 7 seats in the Kavonian Senate are to be VACATED and special elections will be held to refill the Senate with more active members.
Those who wish to run for Senate or become Senators, please make your intention for candidacy known along with a small and brief explanation of your platform. To qualify for Senate, you need to be considered a Kavonian Citizen as stated in the Kavonian Constitution (30 days in the region) and in good standing with the region. Elections will start as soon as we have candidates to do so.
Having a Discord Account or a way to contact you outside of RMB chat is preferred but not required
A brief explanation of Senator duties are as follows:
As a Kavonian Senator, you will be tasked with upholding and defending the Kavonian constitution. An elected position, you will be entrusted by your fellow Kavonians to make legislation that represents the will of the people. You will also be tasked with ensuring the stability of the constitution, including but not limited to amending the constitution with new legislation that either expands or minimizes certain laws and regulations outlined in the current edition.

In our breaking news today, King Kaiser Falkenheim, the monarch of Nakral, faced a harrowing attack by assassins in Baian-Qara while returning to the capital, Gtsardeva. The assailants, believed to be from the Cobfederatia Private Military, the same group responsible for the tragic killing of the jewish politician Rachel Levy five years ago, a strong advocate for a Jewish vassal in Nakral. I'm relieved to report that His Majesty survived this perilous assault.
In a shocking turn of events, the Cobfederatia Private Military's involvement in this incident raises serious concerns about their activities within Nakral. We'll be closely monitoring developments and bringing you more information as it becomes available.
Shifting gears to international affairs, we have some significant updates regarding the Barchiya Accord.

Usahrkan Grithol Soil deployed to Entrov to assist in civil war.
Breaking news has swept across Usahrka and Entrov as five thousand of Usahrkan marines have been deployed to assist in the de-escalation of conflicts in her ally state of Entrov. According to reports, the Marines are being deployed overseas alongside diplomats, military advisors for Entrov, anti-missile systems, tanks, and supplies. The Usahrkan Air Force has also made an appearance, with Usahrkan S-37s being spotted at several airbases across Entrov.

Leading this delegation is none other than Alexis Falkenheim, the Grand Admiral of Nakral. Joining him are key figures such as Deborah Johnson, our Minister of Finance, Ayana Gebremedhin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the esteemed Saint Alagadda. These diplomatic efforts could have far-reaching implications for Nakral's future, and we'll be keeping a close eye on the outcomes of these discussions.
But that's not all. Nakral is also sending support to our ally, Entrov, in the midst of their civil war. "What I suggest would be a naval tour, similar to those done back in the age of sail or early steam, where nations would take a few of their ships around the world both as a show of our own naval prowess, but also to gain commonality with nations of similar naval prestige. Our battlecruisers and carriers would be excellent for diplomatic missions. While I am personally of the persuasion that we use our battlecruisers for this, as their speed and aesthetic beauty would be more pleasing, using a carrier in the modern age of air combat would likely be most preferable." Hiei remarked.
Momo took notes on the side. During meetings of the staff, she preferred to busy herself with taking notes of the meeting and making the records. Pressing her toes in her favorite black flats, she made some particularly extensive notes on Hiei's points, and made a separate list to write down her thoughts on the pros and cons of each vessel regarding naval diplomatic avenues.
"Humbly speaking, Emperor, while I have no experience in the naval department, as your Foreign Ministress, I feel I would be doing the Empire a dis-service if I didn't mention the potential ramifications of using our military arm in diplomacy. Not only would it open us up to potential spy activity, but sending our navy to other nations, be it for transporting our dignitaries or otherwise, would be seen as a show of force by some nations, and could rise tensions between those that don't view us in the best light. It is best to carefully weigh our options. The Grand Admiral is as capable as she is beautiful, but even someone like Hiei couldn't account for the unforeseen consequences of this idea." Yukari quipped, dangling her right flip flop from her foot.
Erwin nodded, looking over at Kei who, while listening to the discussion, was captured entirely by her addiction to building new designs for the Imperial Navy. "Kei? Do you have any thoughts on the matter?" Erwin asked. Kei looked up with a confused look on her face. "Hm? Oh, no not really Erwin. Im your Chief Naval Designer, I design your ships according to the needs of the Scherzo Navy and the agenda that you wish to fulfill. I admit I'm not really qualified to give an educated opinion on world affairs. However, should you have any questions about the navy itself, I can answer those questions quite quickly." Kei replied. "I do have some new designs we can discuss should the opportunity present itself." She added.
A knock was heard on the door. Momo simply stood up and opened the door. Grand Ambassador Riko Matsumoto stood there, and Momo ushered her into the room. Riko bowed, handing a piece of paper to Erwin. It was a communication informing Erwin that the nation of Nakral was interested in a meeting with the Scherzo Empire. "I see. Well, this makes this discussion all the more interesting. Thank you Riko, enjoy your day." Erwin said. Riko nodded, bowing and taking her leave. "Ladies, it appears that the nation of Nakral wishes to have an audience with us. To my understanding, they will be visiting us here to discuss some kind of deal, though we are not privy to the contents of this deal, we have been requested." Erwin stated.
A concerned look came across Hiei's face. "Herr Emperor, Nakral is in a trade alliance with Regnstadt and Great salem. Salem is a communist nation, and all three of them are in a trade alliance that essentially requires them to share anything and everything should they request it. If we make a deal with Nakral, we would essentially be handing over our technology, our people, our resources, to communists. It would be political and economic suicide, it would spit on the good name of your grandfather." Hiei said with passion. Erwin looked over at his precious Momo, who nodded in concerned agreement. "I....see your point...." Erwin said, drifting off.
Yukari cleared her throat. "Herr Emperor, if I may, we have no clue what Nakral wants. It could be something fairly simple. We won't know unless we speak to them. As an Emperor attempting to restore the Empire's image on the international stage, it would be good to have them here, if nothing else to show to other nations that we are open for talks and are willing to engage in diplomacy." Yukari noted.
The room went silent for a moment, and then Momo spoke, her gorgeous warm voice giving Erwin's heart a fuzzy feeling. "So, shall I accept Nakral's request?" She asked. The room went silent as the people in the room, save Kei who was still sketching, looked at each other.

While the Emperor is concerned that the Confederation of 
Usahrka has chosen to join an alliance with a communist nation amongst its ranks, we trust that their judgement will not be clouded by the infection of the socialist menace. In terms of your invitation extended regarding the Zhaport Ball, the Empress and Emperor would be delighted to join. While the Emperor can not physically dance outside of a slow-dance, Emperor Zenzefer III and Empress Kawashima look forward to a potential avenue to diplomacy. The timing couldn't be more perfect, as the Scherzo Mercantile Marine has just finished its overhaul of its ships and ports, and hopes to open up its ocean liner business once we can secure agreements with other nations.

Revolts continue; Steven McConnal photographed with princess
As another week of war passes through Salem, more revolts and revolutionary plots have been discovered throughout both sides of the civil war. More and more smaller communities throughout the People’s Republic are declaring their allegiance to the Monarch’s party, with the Republic being unable to quell the rebellions due to the inactivity of the National Guard when dealing with the Monarch’s Party and the Coalition sworn between them. The rebellions are similarly reflected in the Military-controlled land, but their hostility is taking a much greater toll on the faction than any other.
Front lines around the country have stagnated, focusing mostly around mountains, rivers, and fortified cities, with movement being restricted to the large plains across the country. Expansions of the Nakrali beachhead has been limited, but enough to bolster the fighting forces on both sides of the front line. Substantial gains have been made in the east of the peninsula, with all of Berisia being taken by the Coalition, attributed to the leadership of Douglas Richardson and the high nationalistic sentiment in the area.
In happier news, President Steven McConnal has been photographed with Princess Xinyi, daughter of King Yúzé of Berisia. King Yúzé, being in the Monarch’s Council, has met with McConnal before, but it is unknown if this meeting was a continuation of these discussions, or if you two were meeting for something personal. Prominent members of the Salem Socialist’s Union worry that their president having a personal connection with the Monarch’s Council will jeopardise their position in the truce negotiations, but those related to the council have celebrated the potential uniting factor behind the two’s relationship. Whatever the case, it is expected that talks will continue between the two sides, with a union certainly on the cards for the near future.

Entrovian Civil War updates
Baronzia on the brink of surrender
Baronzia's top general Anthony Mailra announced the state of Baronzia's military forces failed to hold the the strategically important town of Acin. This failure allows Entrovian forces to march straight into Baronzia's Heartland. An ultimatum was sent to Baronzia's leadership.
Ultimatum contents:
•Baronzia must surrender within 48 hours.
• Baronzian leadership will handed to the Entrovian Special Forces (ESF).
• All Baronzian weapons and infrastructure will be surrendered to Entrov.
Operation Risen
After arriving at Alisa, troops from 
Nakral and planes from Usahrka appearing in multiple airfields, preparations for Operation Risen was complete. Within 10 hours the Nakrali Patriots arrived and set up at the town of Bloem ( 3km from frontlines). The operation would be first deployment of the L-1 and L-2 tanks. The point of Operation Risen is to capture the Kelven capital "Vas". Kelven were already weakened by previous offences.

To answer your question, since nobody really wanted to do the map due to the extensive amount of work that goes into it, we let the cartography nation CTE. I am in charge of the map. Just give me a decent outline of where you want to be and i will happily put you there. The map that is currently on the homepage of the RMB is the updated one (the one with the ugly green outline on the names)
Also, dont worry about posting on the RMB OOC, if you havent gotten an answer on discord or we havent seen your requests, its always good to put them here.

Bostonian Rebellion put down
Despite being the defacto capital of the Military Junta in the civil war, New Boston is not immune to the pro-Socialist or pro-Unionist rebellions plaguing the rest of their controlled land. At around 10.42 this morning, riots broke out across the city, stoked by uneasy and disillusioned citizens living in the Downtown area. It is unknown if the riots were caused by rebels attempting to destabilise the city, or simply citizens who were angry at the increased restrictions and prolonged civil war facing the country.
Whether they started it or not, the socialists certainly took advantage of the chaos, setting off red flares and organising around Princess Anne Square by the coast of the city. By midday, enough supporters had amassed around the square that the leader of the socialist uprising, an unknown woman, declared the Salemite revolution to be complete, as the supporters began marching the five blocks down to the Salemite Parliamentary Complex.
The rebels were met with a substantial force, made up of police officers that had defected to the military at the start of the war, and been designated personal bodyguards for various high-ranking members of the Junta. Without hesitation, the officers raised their rifles, scaring many of the Socialist supporters away. Those who stood and fought were quickly and brutally dealt with, tightening the military’s grip on Boston, yet bolstering the spirits of fighters on the other side of the war aiming to “liberate” the people of New Boston and other Military-controlled areas.
We of the People’s Republic of Salem would be happy to have you visit our nation, and we are sure that our allies in the United Kingdoms would share our enthusiasm. However, I would recommend for your delegate’s safety that they do not visit New Boston in the Military’s control, as they have recently cracked down harder on civil rights and freedoms, and it is not guaranteed your delegate would be allowed to leave if the Military’s position gets any weaker. Alternatively, you may wish to visit the independent nation of Southern Decardia to see the war from an independent perspective. Please reach out how you see fit to arrange a date and place.
We will attempt to reach the military government of New Boston via Zoom should they accept. We appreciate your concern for the safety of Patecian Officials but we are steadfast in our desire to hear all sides of this conflict openly and fairly. As for the official visit, the Prime Minister can squeeze in a trip to New Salem, Kavonia next week (in RP time I will Telegram to discuss further:))

I was thinking about suggesting the same idea actually. I'd still like to run it by those of us in Citreon who are still active but I absolutely am fond of the idea. As far as a map claim, I am going to RP my way into getting a claim "on this side of the world" and use my puppet to make the claim if that is okay.
