Well Layton does have a private fricking island
Rue probably lives there since Kamryn is living at college and Kyle has a large apartment for himself, his wife, and younger daughter

Guess Rue and Layton just chill there by themselves

You know your army is small when the foreign peacekeepers are six times the size of your military.

Layton considers Rue to be an honorary grandson

Layton has a lot of friends over and has Great Gatsby like parties with them
He also has a girlfriend despite being in his early 70s
Who knows, maybe that girlfriend has an attractive granddaughter that is coincidentally around Rue’s age :p

Hmm

Side note: I can just imagine when, and if, Layton shows off Rue he just says “This is my furry (honorary) grandson”

Layton was a leader for so long that he got so ridiculously wealthy
Stacy is nowhere near his wealth, and keep in mind she’s pretty rich herself

Yep basically
He’s the grandson Layton never had

(Okay technically Layton does have a grandson, but he lives in Columbia and is hardly around)

And even better is that he’ll probably stick around for a while because he doesn’t know where to go

Everyone basically left Layton
Kinda sad
Though Kyle plans to join him (if his wife is okay with it) once his younger daughter is in college

Rue may leave if he ever gets a girlfriend

Missouria wrote:Rue may leave if he ever gets a girlfriend

Then Layton will be all alone with his rich people parties
(Well okay he has a girlfriend now)

Poor Layton, will be alone forever
(Who knows, maybe Rue may get with that person you mentioned earlier and will stay)

The person that may or may not exist
Eh, maybe Layton will get married and have his step-family move in

Don’t want monarchy as I have overused it, but elections are a pain.

democracy sucks in roleplay tbh

My recommendation for democratic republics in rp is have a semi-presidential system with elections called by the legislature. The president can remain the same if that person just has popular support and no term limits, being a sort of king like in monarchies. You can even have a political dynasty.

If you want to change your leader or politics just call a general election for a new party or coalition government after a parliamentary vote.

Otherwise, if the election isn’t important, just change your factbooks and call little attention to it.

Eosses, Untecna, and Institute of cellulose hunetia
