Delegate doesn't help too much with influence since the endorsement gap between myself and others are very small, like Labyrinth of izaro will likely do very well, because they have better civil and political rights than me along with a very high influence, which will lead into a very high total score. You cant live off of modifiers if your base stats arent very steady

i keep getting war questions now and nothing for the next bracket so i'm just going all in on war at this point

Lunar martian alliance

Yea I noticed that too, right after military brackets ended I went on a streak of getting purely defence issues, which I'm lowering temporarily to build up civil rights but I will rebuild it after the brackets

Hey heads up to seventh periode i lost a right red head racon headphone can you let me know if you find it

Don't worry. The same thing happened to me last semester with GIMME SHINY THING. The only real difference is last semester, the civil war was the first bracket Mr. B did, so nobody really knew what they were doing. This semester, we had the economic bracket to act as a warm-up and refresher for those of us with older, alternative nations.

What row do ya sit in?

I loved last civil war bracket, I also had no idea what I was doing but I happened to build my country around the stats that were required. I did much better last time even though it was new, I won with 82 million (18 million ahead of 2nd place) since I was so defense-focused that time. This time around I still did defense but many others were not too far behind, I mean you were only like 6 or 8 million away, that can be the difference of only one issue if you're lucky.

NationStates is doing everything in it's power to infuriate me. I'm still trying to get the issue that leads to the development of the space program. I have been trying to get this issue since I founded this nation. Yet my MEDEIVAL themed nation seems to be getting all of the issues that boost scientific advancement, including said space program issue. And I'm trying my best to keep that nation a medieval nation that revolves around religion and supporting the weak, even through force if necessary. So my nation that could use space travel the least gets the chance to explore the stars before my nation that needs it the most to stay in theme. And the religious medieval nation that I'm referring to is not in either of Mr. B's class regions.

You not getting a space program is gonna become an ongoing joke

I really hope not. Though I wouldn't be surprised if I do finally get the space program on the last day of school or something.

Actually, I may know why I just remembered. I have a space program in nealy all of my capitalist countries because it is introduced by some people taking advantage of the private sector. Real-life governments don't seem to share the same interest in space (usually because of more important things like defense, economy, etc), so they rely on the wealthy citizens of the private sector to do it. If that's what they are going for, that's pretty striking levels of accuracy.

The thing is, the nation in question has very high integrity, very low corruption, and very little economy to be exploited. Plus, Tatooine2 has it, and it hasn't been capitalistic since the 3rd week, and I know I got both space travel and AI Personhood a little over a month after founding Tatooine2.

Lunar martian alliance

True, but I'm sure the capitalist influence was leftover in the sense of economy. If you have a high enough % private sector. Just because your government changed doesn't exactly mean the economy also flipped fully

Lunar martian alliance

Then again, I don't really know, just a theory. I'm not sure how much NationStates correlates to real-life since anyone can write up an issue.

There isn't much of a private sector in any of my countries, now that I think about it. I'm pretty sure most of them are dominated by either public or government controlled economy.

Labyrinth of izaro

Arent you guys in the same class?

Lunar martian alliance

Quite the contrary here, most my countries are 75-89% private with a pinch of black market or government in there. It seems to work, a lot of my capitalist ones have the "frightening" label for economy, which I think is the best unless there is hidden one above 100 I dont know about.

My recent increase in civil right has put me back into an anarchy, not gonna lie, it’s good to be back

it appears i'm now holding talks with other countries about being there trash out of space

Lunar martian alliance

sshhhhhhh...don't say the "s" word, there's a group of bounty hunters running around trying to get there, I think they're planning to steal my rocket fuel o_o

That sounds very tempting at this rate.
