Today, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, Comrade Mikhail Mikhailovich Kasyanov, will join the people of Dakea in celebration of “Revolution Day”; the country’s national holiday in honour of the 1946 Socialist Revolution that swept the Communist Party to power.
Alongside Comrade Chairman of the People’s Republic Relapa Gunaq, and Comrade General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Dakean Communist Party Jose Touskiak; Comrade Chairman Mikhail Mikhailovich will represent the people of the Soviet Union by attending the annual National Revolution Day Military Parade and Workers Demonstration on Revolution Square. He will view the Parade from the grandstand, standing side by side with the members of the Central Committee’s Politburo of the DCP. The Parade will be broadcast live on all Dakean television stations, and is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM local time.
Following the Parade, Comrade Kasyanov and the Soviet delegation will hold a bilateral meeting with Comrade Chairman Gunaq, and other members of the Dakean government. Their discussions will include the topics of bilateral trade, economic planning, and the importance of maintaining close military cooperation between Dakea, and the USSR.
