How similar are NZ suburbs to US suburbs

God made the Big Bang, we're all right.

God wants us to explore the universe because he wants to know what we can do. We're not going to get anywhere believing in him solely, he ain't holding our hands.
The earth floats in nothingness, blackness all around us, it's our job to go out there and explore it.

The emptiness of space is our playground, so let's make God pround in the billions of years we have left till the big crunch (or heat death, your choice)

So, the Bibble (how I pronounced it at age 4, I was most likely partially insane then) is wrong?

Well isn't this a great way to undermine other species rights and undermine the environment, a'int it?

In this scenario there is no right or wrong

New Eestiball wrote:So, the Bible is wrong?

yes (in the parts that conflict with science. Creation is wrong, the resurrection I believe but in all due reality they probably just lost his body lol)

God didn't create the earth in a week, it's impossible just by the sheer existence of some substances alone (minerals and the time it takes for them to become what they are)
However, it is my personal belief that God created the Universe and maybe guided us along the way. I belief science and try to fit God in there somewhere.

Did God create the earth? Or was it complete chance and he kinda just put us here? Or are we just his discarded child? Don't know, all I know is that science has shown me far greater reason to believe it, but I can't in my personal mind think that there is no god and no afterlife

don't mean it like that lol, I mean we explore and befriend. For all we know, aliens could also be gods creation

I haven't been in an American suburb. But some of the new ones going up would probably look at home in the States, we just don't have pools in our backyard ;)

Wait do they base the design off American suburbs or are they their own unique style?

It's just rows of the same three or four houses, it's a suburb, suburb's don't really vary

I've had my own experience with religion. I was baptised Catholic and did some of my sacraments such as confirmation, confession and communion. My family are not religious but did this for cultural reasons.

In my teenage years, my parents separated and I started discovering my homosexuality. I turned to religion on my own out of self-hating homophobia and distress at my parents separating. During my religious years, I was miserable and lived in constant fear of going to hell, believing I was disgusting and evil for being gay.

It got so bad that my family became concerned for my mental wellbeing. Ultimately, I left religion and became much happier for it. I respect people's right to believe in their faith and worship freely but I do not respect many of the homophobic views religious people hold because of their faith.

Believe whatever you want but if you try to enforce your religious morality on me through government power, we're going to have a problem. I don't have an issue with religious people but I despise organised religion.

yeah, religion is absolutely a problem in this way.
as a transgender person, I'm still very weary that people of my own faith won't like me, so it's kinda weird still believing in the same things as them.

In all due reality, religion is used for the exact opposite reason they all say it is almost all the time.

Though, good on your for leaving faith. If faith is ever causing someone that much problems, it's not for them

Ooh gotta love some great WW2 books, which did you get?

I'm sorry for those experiences. I'm glad that you left it though and found better experiences in what you love :)

I hope people of your faith can find greater love and acceptance for you. I think you're very brave for being true to yourself and I fully support trans rights.

In Alabama, we have a feminine, religious, and uneducated cliché, it's annoying.

This rmb has been dull lately to me. Someone hasn’t asked a question in a while so I figured that would help it a little

Why do people visit your nation

people visit renway for its natural beauty. The nation is described as “a mix between Iceland, Scotland, and norway” The most popular destination for tourists like this is king jon 1st national park (named after Renways first king) Located in northeast langtia province this national park is famous for its waterfalls, forests, hot springs, and valleys. Anything that could turn into trash is banned. This makes it the most revered national parks around the world. Visitors also learn about renwegian culture there as the restraunts there serve traditional renwegian food and many shops sell renwegian cultural things and books that can teach renwegian.

I think I got off a little lucky actually, since I'm part of the Anglican Church of Canada (one of the few churches along with the other Anglicans that actually allow for trans clergy), but even then I don't know a lot about it so I'm still really skeptical.
Though, thanks a lot. I'm hoping people change soon in my life.

I've been re-listening to an audiobook of The Third Reich in Power. Really fascinating dive into so many aspects of life and culture in Nazi Germany.
