One of them, a "goat-person" that Kas'kalor deduced to be a Shakar, bowed very deeply so as to point their horns towards the ground, while the other soldiers simply gazed wide eyed at what was, quite literally, a dragon.

"Hello there chaps! This is the esteemed Kas'kalor, they are the politician in question."

One Aerlanican soldier, who was about the same height as Jonathan (that is, dwarfed by the dragon) managed a meek wave and a silent murmur of "Hello", however there was otherwise no response from the stunned Aerlanicans. Jonathan looked to Kas'kalor and smiled.

"You must forgive us, we don't interact with dragons what so ever, sorry."

"I would expect no such honors. Afterall, it is not like we've swooped in at some pivotal moment in a crisis and saved your entire nation. To be honest I'm a little surprised we're getting as much media attention as we are. I'd assumed this would be a strictly military matter, and therefore not immediately open to the public."

"I'm more than happy to answer questions, but if it's all the same to you I'll be provided vague answers to any questions on where exactly I come from. While I trust you, I can't say I trust everyone in your nation with the location of my home."

As the two entered the hangar, Kas'kalor quickly examined the soldiers. They suppressed a smug grin at seeing the Shakar bow, it was certainly satisfying to see that even those who never interacted with the dragons of Vauhine, and by extension Fivalia, still understood the species prominent stature. Despite this inward satisfaction, Kas'kalor maintained an outward appearance of a cordial smile, this was not the time for public smugness."

Kas'kalor's gaze locked on the Aerlanican who'd waved. They stared unblinkingly for a few moments before dipping their head as a sign of respect. "Hello to you as well," they turned to look over the soldiers as a group. "I must say, I'm not surprised at your, how shall I say, stunned reaction. If you have never interacted with dragons before then of course I would be a confusing sight. But worry not, I do not take offense at your stares. I'm well aware that my kind are unusual compared to the myriad of sapient species making up this universe. I would also like to apologize for indirectly kidnapping your leader. As you can see, he has been returned not only unharmed, but bearing a new potential ally. Now, shall we depart for the surface?"

“So which celestial are you so riled up about? I have my guesses, but I’m curious if this is also classified. As for the reactor, I’m most resilient to magic, I doubt it would kill me. Worst case scenario it overwhelms my system like too much air in your lungs.”

The agent pondered for a moment.

"I know the Op-CO wants to keep this under wraps until we've entered hyperwarp, but given that you seem cooperative..."

The agent pauses. Some of the other agents start looking at the agent that was speaking to No’akly with a kind of "Are you seriously about to break protocol?" look.

The whole time the agent was talking No’akly was smiling happily… right up until it was confirmed that the celestial in question was Iblion. As soon as that name was uttered she took on a much more somber, almost fearful tone. She remained silent for several minutes before finally speaking. “You mean to neutralize Iblion? That is… not the celestial I was expecting. This… complicates things. The wizard nodded.
"Very well. Given that I likely could not restrain you regardless, there is no sense in trying to keep you here. Best of luck to you."

"I...I suppose I cannot blame you for that...I, too, must do what I have to in order to protect my crew. Very well...the best thing you can do is to remove the propulsion core. It isn't small, but it is the key to the ship's movement, and without it the ship will not move."

Dje nodded.
"Alright then. Maid, describe where the treasure is."
Kania described the location enough that Dje could teleport them there. But before he did, a smile spread across his face as an idea popped into his head.
"Ah! But we must demonstrate that we are...a united front. And to that end-"
Dje suddenly shifted into an estival antok form like Lucius, though not the most accurate imitation, and Dje was also comically muscle-bound.
"-I shall shift myself, and-"
Kania also suddenly shifted form into an estival antok, albeit a rather silly-looking female form. Dje clearly had not done his research on common antok anatomy, or simply didn't care.
"-and of course our guide as well."

Kania was in shock at her sudden transformation, but nodded reluctantly. She was a bit uncomfortable - unsurprising for a non-shapeshifter - but did not voice a complaint.
"Alright...if you think this is the best way..."

Before Kania could even finish that sentence, Dje had teleported the three of them to the underground room full of various treasures - gold bars, silver bars, jewels and jems. There were also old artworks and sculptures, and some other items that didn't look so valuable - random metal pieces, vials of liquid, and boxes of papers, to name a few.

"As for what happened with the first two attempts, the first one, a bomb with the power to wipe out entire solar systems, was scrapped after the first prototype was tested over concerns of 'Too much collateral damage'. The second attempt was initially taking the bomb and converting it into some kind of beam weapon, but the Op-CO got some strange idea while that was still on the drawing board. I don't know the exact details, but the second attempt would become some... giant biomechanical mech.
That project went through a few iterations. The first prototype had... 'Unprecedented' problems. The second prototype was destroyed during a botched mission to retrieve the designated pilot of the first prototype, courtesy of... 'Outside Interference'. As far as I can tell, the third prototype is currently in some storage hanger in another galaxy.
As for what killed the project... Let's just say Hell itself conspired to f-*BLEEP* us over."

(Decided to push the Galliadurm stuff forward a bit along with spinning up some new stuff...)

Galliadurm, Planet Augusta, Solar System Amaterasu-Gamma 3, Roxium Galactic District Volkron, Solania Galaxy, Galactic Union Sector Trigon, Augusta's Universe

Some time has passed since "The Incident". The Roxium United Armed Force people Eauen spoke to, along with their kewsub, have returned to Augusta, but are still keeping the body over concerns of potential Fel corruption. The body itself is still giving off a "Concerning amount of Fel", enough to kill off any plant life within a few meters of it and induce increased aggression in any animals within that same distance.

The site of the "Incident" still has a large RUAF presence, and they're refusing to let anyone enter said site.

Eauen now knows what was responsible for that tourist's violent death: The DDR, formally known as the Democratic Demon's Republic. She was told that they're a faction of demons that were formed from the remnants of an older demon faction called the Burning Legion. (https://warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Burning_Legion)
The DDR was started with good intentions, but would quickly succumb to infighting and corruption. They had a short-lived membership in something called the Galactic Union before being kicked out after they started an "Unprovoked" war against the Roxium Federation by attempting to invade a number of worlds in Roxium space, including Augusta.
Their invasion of Augusta was dubbed the First DDR Crisis, and lead to significant damage in a few areas along with the destruction of at least one city in the Roxium Federation's Cape of Good Hope Territory. Images and footage of the areas hardest hit by the First DDR Crisis were shown to Eauen. Those images depict ruined cities, Fel-scarred dead wastelands, numerous examples of horrifically Fel-mutated wildlife, various examples of the DDR's cruelty (Some of those images being extremely graphic due to all the blood and gore), examples of the DDR's "Hostile Terraforming" (Heavily Fel-corrupted landscapes that are choked in acrid grey smoke. Some areas are coated in green lava. The sky is filled with Fel-fueled storms and green lightning.), and plenty of footage of the battles that happened during the Crisis, all from the RUAF and ACC's perspectives, ACC being Atlantis Armed Core, the military of Atlantis, whom is a very close ally of the Roxium Federation. The DDR were successfully driven off Augusta, but they would attempt another invasion some time later, with Aerlanica being ground zero.
The Second DDR Crisis did not last as long as the First DDR Crisis, and the damage was almost entirely limited to Aerlanica, due to a very fierce response by the RUAF and a number of other Augustan nations. The humanoid lion does note that the DDR force involved was smaller than the one from the first Crisis.
Images and footage from the Second DDR Crisis is also shown to Eauen. In one particular video, a combined Roxium-Aerlanican unit attempts to push through a valley towards an ominous pillar of green light/flames, with the video itself being from the helmet cam of an RUAF soldier manning some belt-fed grenade launcher mounted on a multi-ped APC. (Multi-ped vehicles are basically ground vehicles that use 4 foldable spider-like legs instead of wheels or treads to get around. At the end of each leg is a combined "Foot/Claw"/wheel assembly that allows the vehicle to walk or roll around) The sounds of gunfire are just barely heard over the multi-ped APC's engine. Two Aerlanican tanks and a Roxium multi-ped tank are seen further ahead. Around them are the bombed-out remains of various buildings, some of which are fully or partially collapsed. The sky is choked with ominous grey clouds that are lit up by the occasional bolt of green Fel lightning.
Undecipherable yelling is heard over the radio as the Roxium multi-ped tank lifts itself with its legs until it is peaking a fair ways over the Aerlanican tanks before what sounds like two rather heavy/powerful gatling guns are heard spinning up and firing. The RUAF guy with the helmet cam ducks down into the multi-ped APC as the sound of something hitting the armor is heard. "Hostiles bearing 38, distance 208!" yells someone from within the APC. The person with the helmet cam repeats what the other person said as he grabs the handles of the grenade launcher with clawed fur-covered hands. The entire turret assembly turns right before he pulls the trigger. A series of loud-ish bangs are heard as the grenade launcher fires at 120 rounds per minute, or two rounds a second. Links from the ammunition belt are seen being ejected from the side of the grenade launcher as it fires.
More yelling is heard over the radio, something about an armor unit being pinned down, followed by panicked yelling from within the APC. "FEL REAVER!" yells the panicked voice. As if on queue, a flash of green is seen on the left side of the frame followed almost immediately by an explosion that blows the turret of one of the Aerlanican tanks off. The person with the helmet cam briefly ducks before looking at where the explosion happened. The Roxium multi-ped tank has by this point started backing up, rolling back until the remaining Aerlanican tank has enough room to swivel its turret left and towards the Fel Reaver. The turret of the Roxium multi-ped tank is doing the same.
The towering metal monstrosity that is the Fel Reaver (https://warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Fel_reaver) is now in full view, said monstrosity easily towering above the surrounding buildings. The turrets of the remaining Aerlanican tank and the Roxium multi-ped tank proceeds to open fire, their shots barely doing anything to the Fel Reaver. "Requesting arc-ord strike!" yells someone in the APC with a clearly panicked voice. As the person in the APC is yelling out the coordinates, something on the Fel Reaver begins taking on a very ominous glow... The final frame before the video cuts out is almost completely filled with a Fel green light.
The humanoid Lion somberly said that the unit the video's from was completely wiped out, with no survivors.

Eauen is now fully aware of the damage the DDR could do to Galliadurm, and the danger they pose to not only the rest of Augusta, but also other worlds...

Should the DDR invade Galliadurm and gain control of the Interworld Array, Earth and any other inhabited planet in that universe could be in great danger...

Meanwhile, a Perädu Torq somewhere on Augusta has somehow vanished without a trace, and quite suddenly too. Any attempts at retrieving it are also somehow failing... It's as if that Perädu Torq has been removed from reality itself along with whoever was wearing it...

Elsewhere on Augusta...

Something happened...

Something sinister...

As quickly as it started, it ended...

A lone Galliadurm in some out-of-the-way place out of public view has an... unfortunate encounter...

One moment the tourist was doing... what ever...

The next moment, reality itself is torn asunder as the unfortunate Galliadurman tourist suddenly "Falls" into a rift that leads out of Augusta's plane of reality...

That tourist suddenly sees a black sky with ethereal bands of green light snaking their way across it. Also in view are landmasses that defy gravity and ominous black metal structures.

The unfortunate Galliadurman tourist is no longer on Augusta... They have been suddenly transported to another plane of reality... A place of Fel and Demons... A place of chaotic energies...

The Twisting Nether.

The rift closes before the tourist can even turn around, completely cutting them (and their Perädu Torq) off from Galliadurm and Augusta...

Demonic beings start closing in...

Galliadurm, Planet Augusta, Solar System Amaterasu-Gamma 3, Roxium Galactic District Volkron, Solania Galaxy, Galactic Union Sector Trigon, Augusta's Universe

As of now, the Information Coterie has no means of reaching the Twisting Nether, making any hopes of rescuing that tourist a pipe dream. As for retrieving the body of the other tourist...
Said body is currently being held in a temporary Roxium United Armed Force "Red Zone" in the outer fringes of the Amaterasu-Gamma 3 system (Roxium name for Augusta's solar system). A "Red Zone" is an area where non-RUAF ships and personnel are prohibited from entering. The body is being held there due to not only Fel contamination concerns, but also the risk that the body could have been rigged with some sort of "Bomb magic". The DDR is known to weaponize the corpses of their victims...

In response to the "Incident", the Roxium Federation has started work to establish diplomatic ties with Galliadurm. Some adjustments are made to the QRS.NET node satellites closest to the island to allow direct Roxium-Galliadurman communications, with the side-effect of enabling ghosrims to receive Roxium civilian radio broadcasts and... "See" the Roxium internet.
Ghosrims can kind of see and "connect" to QRS.NET nodes, but are not able to browse the Roxium internet due to being... incompatible with Roxium networking protocols and Roxium equivalents of stuff like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. The incompatibility is the result of fundamental differences between Galliadurm's non-magic tech and Roxium magitek.
Attempting to browse the Roxium internet on a ghosrim will result in the ghosrim either throwing its equivalent of a network error, its equivalent of networking drivers (And/or network adapters) crashing (With a chance of causing the ghosrim equivalent of a blue screen of death/kernel panic/operating system crash), or its equivalent of a web browser crashing (And probably taking the ghosrim's operating system down with it).

A Galliadurman tourist has been afflicted with a... peculiar ailment, or rather, curse, after visiting the Roxium Federation Augusta (Cape of Good Hope) Territory. And no, this has nothing to do with the DDR. That tourist is of course not alone, as a handful of Roxium citizens got "Infected" at around the same time.
That tourist got afflicted with what the Roxium Disease Response and Control Center calls a Transmu disease. Transmu disease is a "Catch-All" term for any curse or disease that induces a forced physical and sometimes mental transformation in its victim. As of now, the majority of Transmu diseases have no known cures, even after centuries of intensive research.
The particular Transmu disease the unfortunate tourist got afflicted with is Transmu-AA1-Azeroth-Worgen-B7, a "Benign" "Strain" or "Variant" of Transmu-AA1-Azeroth-Worgen, one of the more common Transmu diseases that has been a thorn in the RDRCC's side for the past few hundred years. Transmu-AA1-Azeroth-Worgen is the RDRCC's designation for the Worgen Curse (https://warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Worgen_curse). Transmu-AA1-Azeroth-Worgen has two main "Variant Families": A and B. As with most Transmu diseases, there's no known cure. The most common method of spread is via bodily fluids, most often saliva.
The A "Family" is the older, rarest, and more dangerous of the two "Families". Its danger comes from the fact that it causes its victims to effectively lose their minds and become aggressive beasts. It has mostly been eradicated, only cropping up in veryisolated pockets every so often. No cases or outbreaks of this "Family" have ever happened on Augusta.
The B "Family", while still "Dangerous", is far more "Benign" due to it completely lacking the mental effects of the A "Family". No one is really sure how the B "Family" came to be, with the most likely theory being "Divine Interference". For what ever reason, this "Family" has made its way to all corners of the Roxium Federation despite the RDRCC's best efforts, even reaching Augusta and almost every other Roxium planet/territory in this galaxy.
Having been afflicted with the B "Variant", the Galliadurman tourist doesn't have to worry about becoming a mindless beast. They're still gonna have to deal with the physical transformation though...

As of now, greyish fur is slowly spreading across that tourist's body...

Paradise Beach, Roxium Federation Augusta (Cape of Good Hope) Territory, Planet Augusta, Solar System Amaterasu-Gamma 3, Roxium Galactic District Volkron, Solania Galaxy, Galactic Union Sector Trigon, Augusta's Universe

A "Bio/Arcane Terrorism" incident has happened, leading to an outbreak of Transmu-AA1-Azeroth-Worgen-B7. An investigation into the outbreak quickly lead to the discovery of a vending machine that was tampered with, leading to it being labelled as an act of "Bio/Arcane Terrorism". This latest incident has been linked to a string of other similar incidents that have occurred over the last few years. So far the identity of the perpetrator behind these incidents is still a mystery.

???, Twisting Nether

The tourist is unable to get very far. The orange floating rock he finds himself on isn't all that large, with almost all its edges leading to a bottomless black void below. The only side of the rock that doesn't drop to a bottomless abyss is swarming with demons, mostly Terrorguards (https://warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Terrorguard).
Even with his survivalist skills, the demons are quick to capture him. For some reason they want him alive...

Some time later, intensive studies and nightmarish experiments are being done to the helpless tourist, all while he's still awake and being pumped full of "Healing" magic to keep him alive...

The DDR is trying to study and reverse-engineer his Anasvapti, Perädu Torq, and Uqera node...

Roxium's Post

The DDR in their lofty pursuits will only be able to reverse engineer the Perädu Torq for the functions of that device may come across as something simple. Wafertech only meant to keep chronological data on the tourist's human body they have in their possession. The Uqera node on the other hand? No. That interphasic microorganism was engineered to work against these types of endeavors. Nothing bad will come of trying to find the node, they won't even know its there. Such is not the case with the tourist's unused Anasvapti though, but that too won't be "reverse-engineered". Not because of any particular difficulty or backlash, mind you, but because of the oxymoronic nature of trying to augment something with origins tethering the quantum energy-laced mana (not used as a buzzword) to Aioant Cri, a quantum meso-dimension neighboring the lowest point of the universe(s). A similar experience pertains to how you can train and ride a horse, but never train and ride a zebra.

They won't allow it due to centuries of trauma of being preyed upon by feline predators and other predatory animals. Speaking of animals, those afflicted people along with the third tourist to come under threat of a foreign force, though this time not by the hand of the Fel demons, may come across a blessing. A blessing in the form of a sorcerous agent who could provide the means to effectively deal with the Transmu disease. Should they give the agent the reigns to make use of Galliadurm's next level medicines. That agent won't force their hand in order to do this so worry not. Again, their purpose is only to retrieve the third tourist who found themselves in Roxium's Augustan territory.

This agent, along with the other agents that have already been deployed to other unrelated areas on their Earth and on Augusta, will only use legal means to enter their territory under a civil name. Without the pomp and circumstance of being a Gallianese official, that won't matter on foreign land. The agent will not attack as long as they aren't unreasonably threatened, Roxium is presumably filled with civilized folk so that shouldn't be a problem. In order to reach the tourist they came for, the agent will likely negotiate. It'll be one less body they'll have to deal with or maybe the whole who has been afflicted. Being an arbrúl sorcerer, this agent will be with the means to quell the threat of this disease in a timely manner; without formulaic spells, again if they are given a chance.

Seeing as they are now with the intent to establish diplomatic ties with the much smaller island nation, giving the agent that chance might open up a way to achieve that goal. Though as with how it happened with Tyramon's diplomats and the Primaeri, the only alliance above one that is temporary will be a trade of convenience. Unless they provide a good enough reason that'll persuade Galliadurm's officials to extend that branch. Same with the island's citizens who'll also voice their desires, that which unlike in other nations are actually heard and acted upon. Without delay. Speaking of actions being delayed, the progress of that greyish fur permeating the skin of the third tourist's body isn't moving along as fast as it is with the other afflicted. Gallianese immune systems are a different beast compared to theirs.

Given all those years of living under higher quality genomic medicine and the country's "prized" soma carols~. (More about that here>

Although the art of cloning exists all over the world in many forms, one would only really witness such a feat take place within a military, brought on by the brightest minds who serve their nation. In Galliadurm however, "generational cloning", brought to the light with the aid of Linkpicotechnology, has been made available for civil use. Diligent progression over the years has turned the delicate process of cloning into one which requires little energy, and allows an indefinite amount of cloning. In order to avoid guaranteed legal complications born from having more than one clone to a person, only one clone per person can exist at a time. Furthermore, Galliadurm's cloned citizens prefer not to refer to themselves as a clone, rather a continuation of themselves who are now able to live more fruitfully without worry thanks to their newfound pseudo-immortality. And for just clarification, gallianese citizens are naturally reborn through their own personal vat wombs. The age-old natural process of mammalian reproduction is still a treasured staple. Mothers can choose to forego natural pregnancy, albeit a rare decision. Gallianese women view the tribulations of pregnancy as a way to embrace the pain Emä endures on a daily basis. The first family who would partake in the act of cloning happened to be a family of four who lived near the western coast. Thanks to this family, and a whole wave of people to come, the upsides and downsides of cloning were realized.

Boons —
⁃ Undesired permanent death is no longer a problem.

⁃ The soul and one's own consciousness is safely transferred into the clone body through the nodes.
The Demphe Factor, as mentioned below, plays a role in the transfer of a citizen's consciousness, soul, memories, and other aspects of their identity to a new clone body.
Between the two Uqera Nodes, the Demphe Factor acts as a sort of carrier wave and bridge. Allowing this information (physical information as well) to flow from the previous body to the current body.

⁃ The lazarus serum in the vat wombs are able to cure physical malformations and genetic disorders a person is born with.

⁃ The Uqera Node in the spinal column sends a signal to registered vat wombs in hospitals upon death to start the cloning process.

⁃ Due to the placement of the Uqera Node, traces of the same serum in the vat wombs can be found within the body's cerebrospinal fluid.
Further traces of the serum can be found within the body's lymphoid system.

⁃ This signal also pings, and accurately pinpoints the location of death to the Police Wing of the Dracele, allowing for quicker dispatch.

⁃ The Uqera Nodes are severely difficult to damage due to their relative small size and constitution.

⁃ Since they exist in an interphasic state, Uqera Nodes have been rendered invisible and intangible.
This state has also rendered them immune to electromagnetic radiation, subspace fields, and thermal protons.

⁃ Naturally, citizens possess two Uqera Nodes. One located in the lumbar spine in the spinal column, and the other inside of the vat womb from which the next body will form.

⁃ Deep within the node lies the personification of the individual's will, they who are only visible during periods of disrupted sleep, daydreams and dreams, and when you concentrate on them.

⁃ In the form of a euthanasia switch, only by the demand of the person in question, a clone body can be shut down from the senses and systematically end itself.

⁃ That which is incorporated in the former body will be carried onwards into the next body. The Uqera Node stores this biological data and transfers it over to the individual's personal vat womb.

⁃ Through using the serum inside of the vat wombs in a similar method that is performed within the wæterian repositories, memories could be recorded and developed as a sadegram(s) in order to bring better aid to criminal investigations.

Drawbacks —
⁃ Multiple deaths in a short amount of time leads to straining of the cloning process. Making time between new clones longer.

⁃ Interrupting the cloning process may lead to the development of detrimental physical malformations.

⁃ Citizens are required to be three years old in order to receive the node without complications.

⁃ Activating the euthanasia switch shuts down the Uqera Node, leading to permanent death.

⁃ Once the euthanasia has been initiated with the person being put to rest, the process cannot be reversed.

⁃ Destroying a citizen's vat womb will leave them vulnerable until either the damaged one is repaired or a new one is created.

⁃ It takes time to become familiar with the next body. Learning how to walk after being bedridden in a hospital is equivalent to this.

⁃ There is a chance the person awakening to the new body will be fairly famished.

⁃ Children newly introduced to the cloning process are more "vulnerable" than older citizens. This is due to the fact that it takes time for the two Uqera Nodes to adjust to what's been dubbed the "Demphe Factor".
The term "Demphe Factor" was taken from the coined terms Ephemeralization and Dematerialization.

⁃ Dreadful experiences after death may trigger the creation of another personality that will take its place next to the original.

⁃ Some carcasses, due to the effects of the serum within the vat wombs, may be stricken with a case of Linkincorruptibility. Thus turning them into "perfect mummies", something the Harmäsi craves.

With death still relevant as a choice and an outcome, click here to see how the deceased are handled.

The Treasured Donjons; a vat womb's safe haven, the donjons.
Galliadurm's hospitals are built with eight ample rotundas around the main building who house the beautiful temples that are the vat wombs. Each donjon possesses a S.P.H.F.S (along with the hospitals) and blast shelters several kilometers underneath the main foyer where vat wombs are brought during times of an emergency. There is additional space for medical personnel and citizens as well. The donjons also sport inner courtyards, modern-day glazed atria, enough space for multiple capacious rooms on each floor, fire escape routes, helipads, breezeways that connect each donjon to the main building, carports, and a registry chamber. There are standard protocols and emergency protocols in place to ensure the safety of these invaluable buildings, all of the special machines that are inside of them, and the precious staff. Due to the obvious targets on their backs in lieu of sabotages and outright destruction, there is work in play to either relocate these donjons to a special realm that will be connected to the space Galliadurm's hospitals inhabit, or remodeling the buildings in order to make them appear less assuming like a casual apartment. What will become of these buildings after the process of cloning has been rendered obsolete is still being debated.

The Treasured Donjons II; what are the vat wombs?
The vat wombs belonging to the citizens and government officials who has subjected themselves to the cloning process are in truth genuine outer body wombs; mechacyte incubators who are personalized internally to best suit the recipient's environmental needs. From the outside they appear as greyish tan, intumescent nelumbo(lotus flower) buds with light-bearing crevices near the base. The vat wombs come in a variety of heights to hold the bodies that will be grown inside. Commonly, the height of each vat wombs caps off at around six feet, but can be structurally lengthened to fit taller citizens. The interior of the vat womb consists of a membrane and breathable lazarus serum. The underside of the bud scales are situated with picomite acoustic forks. They are used to genetically transubstantiate the bodies while the individual rests inside of them, utilizing a "lesser" form of cymatic sound to perform what is affectionately called "Soma Carols''. Substantial understanding of genetic development has allowed this harmless altering technique to flourish in the medical scene. To date, it takes up to a day or night to fully clone a body inside of the vat wombs. Going below the twelve hour threshold will incur significant drawbacks pertaining to accelerated growth, that which can be fixed.

The Treasured Donjons III; disposal of the culture media waste.
As one may know it is important to carefully dispose of the culture media waste, the diluted lazarus serum, after each cloning process for each citizen has reached its end. This is safely done by having the vat wombs flush out the waste through a series of root-like tubes located underneath the four floors of the donjons. These tubes retreat into the first layer of the inner wall and sink downwards into the donjons' basement where the tubes dispense the waste into large basins. The basins are connected to a central conversion machine that will cleanse and convert the collected culture media/lazarus serum waste into soil and fertilizer. The nutrient-rich fertilizer and soil procured after this process is normally used to help nourish the gardens present in each of the donjons' courtyards. In these gardens you will find plants like the Chocolate Cosmos (Cosmos atrosanguineus), Dragon's Mouth Orchid (Arethusa bulbosa), the Ghost Orchid (Dendrophylax lindenii), and the flora native to the country of course. With this the waste can be productively repurposed, with the gardens present serving as a peaceful and calming environment for the recovering clonates, visiting guests or relatives, and the medical personnel. Additionally, the gardens assist in improving air quality in accordance with the law and common standards. The excess soil and fertilizer, if there is any, is usually given to the country's farmers.

The Treasured Donjons IV; birthplace of the geltué, the vivariums.
Besides the donjons where extended life can be realized, there is another series of facilities that are well established in this country. Galliadurm's vivariums are sophisticated research and educational facilities dedicated to the creation, study, and preservation of new sophonts. This is where originally the geltué, the prototypes behind the maverick mainframe, and other related and practical works of art are made. The creation of new sophonts or organisms in Galliadurm's vivariums adheres to strict ethical guidelines that are fair and doesn't limit what could be discovered behind those walls. Researchers prioritize the well-being and welfare of the sophonts they design, which extends to the initial genetic manipulation and experiments that happens only to faceless and "empty" clonate vessels, never real people. The vivariums, aside from the frequent number of biological projects, also serve two special purposes. Conservation efforts and public education/awareness. Concerning the latter, the vivariums serve to provide to the public insights into genetic engineering, biodiversity conservation, and literally everything about the bodies Galliadurm has extensively studied. From the four core species inhabiting the country to a few others. The aforementioned conservation projects aimed at reviving endangered or extinct species in dedication to preserving many ecosystems has become a common practice in the vivariums. That's how the island's Bamsam wyverns were revived.

The Augmentation Catalyst; True Body Sculpting —
In lieu of making cloning available for civil use, Gallianese citizens are able to make use of genetic modification and embryo nurturing picotechnology in ways to let parents choose what hereditary traits their child will possess, take the cliché route in enhancing the physical and mental abilities of their child, enabling those willing enough to expressively augment themselves*, and as another means to eliminate unwanted biological foibles (disabilities, genetic diseases, etc.) without depending wholly on the vat wombs, though the same can be done within them. It is also used to do what the vat wombs are not able to do to bodies that are not developed within its confines; enabling safe genetic modification on embryos still inside of a mother's womb. Following this, the percentage of death by delivering non-modified and modified babies from their mother's womb has been moderately decreased with the elimination of "feet first" birth and caesarean birth. All of this and more became possible with the introduction of the country's usage of Soma Carols. A highly practiced method of non-invasive surgery and augmentation that involves utilizing a "lesser" form of cymatic sound. Usually through liquid mediums such as the lazarus serum or the black, breathable fluid used in ITT/Isolated Tank Therapy. Recently, embryonic diapause and retroverted/tilted uteruses has been safely introduced and welcomed into the daily lives of Gallianese women. The drawbacks of inbreeding has also been rendered obsolete.

*This means people within Galliadurm are altering themselves to be all sorts of things, from eternal adults (citizens who were altering themselves to become eternally neotenous), bearded women (commonly observed as a wild mane reminiscent of a lion's), and "true furries" to biochemistry alterers (citizens who were mad enough to render themselves no longer a carbon-based lifeform), humanoid chimeras, and "cthulhu lites" (citizens who were altering themselves to resemble the various races of lovecraftian works). All this, as one would imagine, inevitably rendered cosmetic adjustments such as wigs, traditional tattoos, make-up, nail polish, face and body paint, and hair dye obsolete in the traditional sense. Cosmetics of today are usually permanent or at least long lasting. Free from the bodily ailments those modern practices used to bring, like wrinkles when you get older.

The Augmentation Catalyst II; Soma Carols —
The following will roughly summarize the procedure of the revolutionary, as some may call it, medical and genetic modification technique used in Galliadurm.

Beginning of the procedure.

"The Soma Carols begins with a careful selection of the desired genetic traits and modifications. Examples of which can be found below. The Gallianese people, under the guidance of the Soma Choir Counselors, choose from a range of available genetic enhancements, physical traits, and biological foible prevention measures for themselves. Their choices on the matter are made based on a blend of professional and personal preferences and medical consideration."

In the middle of the procedure.

"Once the genetic modifications are chosen, the process moves on to the actual implementation. Our Soma Carols, as stated above, employs a "lesser"—in measure of scale, e.g. macrocosmic alterations and microcosmic alterations—form of cymatic sound, which involves manipulating those special sound waves in a precise and controlled manner with five steps. The first step, the preliminary assessment, involves the person undergoing a thorough medical evaluation to ensure they are in good health and that there aren't any potential complications that need to be addressed before proceeding. The second step, soundwave mapping, involves the Soma Choir Counselors using the biological map taken from the Perädu Torqs. An extremely detailed map of the entire body with information on the most miniscule of details to the largest of them. For the sake of time, these details include but are not limited to the person's genetic structure, their physical development, and again their overall health. The third step, cymatic modulation, involves the activation of the tempered, pico-scaled sonic therapy devices that emit cymatic sound waves which are finely tuned to only interact with the designated areas of the body at the genetic level. The fourth step involves using the sound waves to subtly modify the genetic code in a way that convinces the body to believe whatever is changed is completely natural, incorporating the chosen enhancements and corrections. Corrections that'll ensure only the desired genetic changes are made. Lastly, the fifth step involves closely monitoring the individual in the hospital rooms they are kept in during the recovery period, after the deactivation of the devices. With the person's consent, will be done to ensure that the genetic augmentations made onto the body have settled without hiccups. Any necessary adjustments will be made to maintain the health and well-being of the individual during their recovery period."

End of the procedure.

"As the procedure reaches its end, the individual will be released from the hospital with an follow-up update notice that can be viewed via their Perädu Torqs. Depending on the magnitude of their augmentation through the Soma Carol procedure and the length of time it takes for the person to get use to the augmented part of their body, among other notable factors, they will either have to stay for a couple hours up to a few days in the hospital."

(Optional) Default Augmentation: Quirk Zero, Bestiary Clade —
Just before the process of cloning rose up to become what it is today, the people of Galliadurm had and continue to benefit from the presence of their bestiary clades. The long standing idea behind the usage of these Bestiary Clades, often crafted from the mold of cabbits, martens, armadillos, the whole line of rodents, and other animals, is meant for the purpose of moving around in areas and spaces where the peoples' main bodies wouldn't allow. For instance, in hard to reach regions out in the island's many hinterlands, where wild animals frequent and where territory mustn't be disturbed. A Gallianese individual and their bestiary clade(s) are consciously connected; their consciousness split evenly amongst themselves and their bestiary clade. Gallianese individuals with more than one bestiary clade must be mentally able to withstand the strain invited by them simultaneously operating multiple physical bodies. This task can become much harder if the bestiary clades are molded from larger animals like tigers, elephants, and so on. Which is why many choose the aforementioned smaller animals. The safely split consciousness of a Gallianese individual is connected to their bestiary clade(s) through a supplementary device tethered to their Perädu Torqs. Said device is usually attached to the tongue of the bestiary clade with a couple of exceptions.

Default Augmentation: First Quirk, Hermetic Metabolism —
Derived from the Soman's innate ability to harness solar radiation and the Nayrasian's near-immunity to the variable ionized substance, Gallianese citizens are now with a genetic trait that outright makes them impervious to most forms of radiation and the globally feared Acute Radiation Syndrome. This is made possible by "true radiosynthesis" achieved through True Body Sculpting, strengthened for the Somans and Naraysians and affixed to the bodies of the country's Humans and Geltué. True radiosynthesis is expressed through "white blood" that is only visible when Gallianese citizens are in heavy fallout zones. The white tint is gained when the body metabolizes radiation, naturally this does not occur outside of fallout zones. Gallianese citizens within these zones are not allowed to venture through them for too long out of risk of being discovered by people who are naturally vulnerable to radiation. Some nations have made the attempt, successfully in some cases, to capture Gallianese citizens who they find in these zones. Either to kill them after mistaking them for ghouls or taking them in for fatal experimentation. Thus although they can, it is against Gallianese law to tread into places like Chernobyl.

Default Augmentation: Second Quirk, Marsupialised Womb —
As the name implies, Gallianese women and the country's epimen decided improvements needed to be made to the birthing process. Improvements to make it easier on them and afford them benefits that embryonic diapause could not give alone. So in order to appease these wishes while also remaining in the realm of organic progress, Galliadurm's good minds thought it would be nice to incorporate the benefits of marsupial birth into the bodies of the women and feminine-oriented epimen. That led to the combination of the best of placental and marsupial qualities, which in turn delivered the advantages and protection of carrying a baby to full term within the womb with the relative ease of birth enjoyed by a marsupial. With this, the structure of the female and feminine-orientated epimen spine, pelvis, and genitals went through significant changes*. Furthermore, by choice gallianese mothers still had to endure the hormonal changes associated with pregnancy. But with this latest alteration to the body, they still enjoyed safer delivery compared to the mothers with less modified forms of fetal development.

*The womb now has two entrances, one from the vagina where fertilization occurs, and a significantly larger opening at the roof that gives pouch-like access to the womb. The baby developing inside of the womb still gets to grow in an amniotic sac (fed by a placenta) like they did before this modification. The opening at the roof of the womb remains sealed as the walls of the womb grows dense to support the growing baby, in that way letting the mother bypass any issues with ectopic pregnancies or endometriosis occuring in the same passage. As the baby approaches maturity, the interior of the womb and the exterior of the placenta morphs from mucous membranes to skin, the amniotic fluid drains, and the roof of the womb weakens. The movement of the fully developed baby opens the pouch which allows in an inrush of air that will trigger breathing and also seal off and safely detach the umbilical cord. Also the inrush of air after the baby is removed will trigger the body to begin reabsorbing the placenta and returning the womb to its non-pregnant state. Reverting it back to its smaller and thinner state. During this, the newborn baby can be removed so that he or she will be able to begin life as an independent individual.

Default Augmentation: Third Quirk, Immortalized Memory —
Found within the bodies of Gallianese citizens who've embraced cloning is the Chromem Cortex. The Chromem Cortex is located in the frontal lobe of the brain and is responsible for the processing, organization, storage, and retrieval of long-term memories that would normally be lost to time. The cortex is made up of specialized cells called Chrometite Sadegrams or "C-Sadegrams", which are capable of storing memories indefinitely without decay. For example when a Gallianese citizen experiences something noteworthy or significant, the cortex automatically activates and begins to record the experience. The c-sadegrams then encode the experience and store it in the cortex. Unlike the brain's other memory systems, such as working memory and short-term memory, the c-sadegrams in the Chromem Cortex are not susceptible to decay or the flaw of forgetting. The Chromem Cortex can be accessed consciously by the citizens, allowing them to recall specific memories in vivid detail. The cortex can also be accessed subconsciously, influencing behavior and decision-making without the citizen realizing it most of the time. Furthermore, with this comes obvious downsides, traumatic experiences. They can be etched in the Chromem Cortex. Fortunately there are means to mitigate this serious problem. They are never left to fester.

Default Augmentation: Fourth Quirk, Passeriformed Waste —
Though this may sound and look weird to an outsider, Gallianese citizens nationwide has developed a way to produce a series of pebble-sized fecal sacs, instead of the typical fecal sludge common in pre-augmented life. These sacs are made of a specially developed type of mucous membrane that envelops the fecal matter in small packages as it passes through the intestines. This mucous membrane is composed of a protein matrix that is able to trap bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens that are present in the feces, thereby reducing the risk of disease transmission. Once the fecal sacs are formed, they are expelled from the body in the same way feces are normally eliminated. These expelled fecal sacs are then dumped inside of well-used dry toilets, and then dealt with in a myriad of sanitized ways. This has played a huge role in decreasing the overall usage of toilet paper or other hygiene products that are typically used in the traditional process of defecation. Not only does this improve public health, but it improves the earlier years of an infant's life. Parents and the elderly alike who haven't embraced cloning approve of this boon.

Default Augmentation: Fifth Quirk, Somatic Diapause —
Following suit with embryonic diapause that has been incorporated into the bodies of Gallianese women, somatic diapause is achieved through a small, sac-like organ located near the junction of the small and large intestines, in the lower right abdomen where the appendix used to be. This sac-like organ, the somnacu, is approximately the size of the human appendix, and it contains specialized cells that allow for the storage and release of chemicals and hormones that induce and regulate hibernation. This occurs when certain internal signals in times of immense stress are triggered. When triggered, the somnacu releases these chemicals into the bloodstream where the body's metabolic rate will be slowed to a crawl, reducing the need for food and oxygen. The chemicals also cause the body to enter a deep sleep, allowing the Gallianese citizens to conserve energy and survive for extended periods of time. During hibernation, their body temperature drops significantly, and their heart rate and breathing slow down as well. The somnacu passively stores energy and protein reserves from the food that is eaten and from what is garnered through radiosynthesis. When they are ready to wake up from hibernation, the somnacu releases another hormone that triggers the body to return to its normal metabolic rate and wake up from its deep sleep.

Default Augmentation: Sixth Quirk, Equipollic Dimorphism —
Aside from the type of waste Gallianese citizens produce, here is another asset beneficial to the country that may sound and look weird to an outsider. This nationwide asset to the people is referred to as "Equipollic Dimorphism'', a portmanteau of the terms “equipollent" which essentially means to be equal to another and "sexual dimorphism". Equipollic dimorphism is a term that incorporates the concept of physical equality (equipollent) with the notion of distinct physical differences between the sexes (sexual dimorphism). Through making use of the True Body Sculpting procedure, the genes responsible for physical strength and endurance have been modified in a way that allows women to achieve the same levels of strength and endurance as men, resulting in a near-equal distribution of physical power between the sexes. This includes the epimen of Galliadurm. Now in spite of the elimination of the physical side of natural sexual dimorphism, the women and feminine-oriented epimen of Galliadurm are able to maintain their femininity and lean stature. All while being able to possess a level of physical power and resilience that allows them to compete with Galliadurm's men and masculine-oriented epimen on equal footing. This modification was inspired by the natural similarities between Nayrasian men and women who are well known for being physical equals.

Default Augmentation: Seventh Quirk, Chnad System —
This following biological deviation of the body goes by two official appellations. The first appellation is the Chnad(chuh-nad) System. The second is the Cranio-Neck Absorption and Distribution System, or "C.N.A.D.S" for short. The Chnad System is a cherished and specialized system of structures and tissues whom work cohesively to protect the brain from impact and distribute forces throughout the head and neck. Similar to the woodpecker's neck, this system includes a fine network of powerful muscles and tendons in the neck and upper back that can flex and absorb forces in the event of a blow to the head. Moreover, the skulls of the citizens who have accepted this augmentation has a modified structure with additional bony structures that help to absorb and distribute forces. These bony structures would be complemented by a layer of specialized shock-absorbing tissue surrounding the brain, similar to the "tuned mass damper" possessed by some fish. Overall, the Chnad System affords the Gallianese citizen a decent level of protection against dangerous head trauma. New Gallianese infants have greatly benefited from this.

Default Augmentation: Eighth Quirk, Endoxygenic Lungs —
This next biological deviation of the body, ironically, has been introduced late into the game. There is a good reason for this. As this augmentation involves a crucial point in the body, as it was with the Chromem Cortex in the brain, it was important to take the necessary time to weed out all of the possible problems that could come from meddling with the lungs. With today's advances though and other beneficial factors, the task to pull this through wasn't too unbearable. Early into the 22nd century, Gallianese citizens were introduced to the endoxygenic(en-doh-jen-ik) treatment. The endoxygenic lungs contain new genetic material that allows lung cells to produce oxygen-generating enzymes. These enzymes generate pulmonary oxygen, which smoothly diffuses into the bloodstream, providing a constant supply of oxygen to the body without external sources. However, this function is not active in oxygen-rich environments, and is only triggered in low-oxygen or no-oxygen conditions observed in the vast vacuum of space, on high mountains, and beneath the sea. This organic fail-safe was implemented in order to prevent oxygen poisoning.

Default Augmentation: Ninth Quirk, Osseous Dentition —
"Why isn't it possible for baseline teeth to grow back like hair and nails?" This single question, among many others that were born from Gallianese citizens who shared similar thoughts, is the reason as to why this augmentation here became a thing. No longer will food bits like popcorn kernels and strings of celery be stuck between their teeth. In terms of how this works, the bony ridge is formed from a thicker and durable specialized tissue that has the ability to create bone-like material instead of the normal enamel and dentin that make up teeth. This tissue is present in the embryonic stage and will differentiate into the bony ridge instead of teeth as the individual develops. The ridge possesses similar blood supply and sensory innervation to teeth. Also the surrounding tissue, including the lips and gums, is similar to those found in baseline hominid mouths wherein the skin and flesh layer is extended over the bony ridge and ends in lips, providing protection and a normal appearance. Now in terms of regrowth, the bony ridge as is the case with baseline hair and nails possesses specialized cells at the base of the gums that allows the bony ridge to regrow if it were damaged or broken. Although the speed of this process is moderately slower than the rate of regrowth for nails and hair.

Default Augmentation: Tenth Quirk, Nacreoskeletal Integration —
Although the dental approach involving the restructuring of the teeth turned out to be moderately beneficial, a new problem arose. With the bony ridges robbing the people of the chance of getting food bits stuck between their teeth, now they found themselves being faced with pinkish teeth. As if they've been lightly dyed in taffy. Not to mention other colors that come with the bone being externally and internally influenced. Thus, it was a good thing bioengineered nacre implants were thought of. That which was inspired by the iridescent beauty and strength of white nacre, meticulously designed to promote biointegration with the surrounding tissue. Once these implants are introduced to the body through the non-invasive True Body Sculpting, they will initiate a complex process of tissue regeneration. Stimulating the growth of new blood vessels and nerves for improved nutrient supply and tissue health. On top of that, the density of the nacre-infused bone can be precisely adjusted to meet individual needs, providing lighter structures for agility or denser ones for stability, or in general a decent balance between strength, flexibility and buoyancy.

Additional information here. The integration of an intricate nerve and vascular network within this implant is yet another wonderful aspect of this augmentation. This integrated network enables moderately heightened sensory feedback, elevating the perception of touch, temperature, pressure, and other sensory stimuli. The connection between the skeletal system and the nervous system of the body thus is enhanced as well. Moreover this augmentation employs a controlled bone remodeling process. This implant releases specific signals and growth factors that stimulate the body's natural bone cells, which will gradually lead to the original bone being replaced with the nacre-infused bone. This process mimics the natural process of bone growth and regeneration, ensuring a seamless transition and long-term stability of the augmented skeletal system. More importantly above all and last but not least, this augmentation has returned a sense of "hygienic normalcy" the people of Galliadurm were temporarily deprived of. As with most folk, they got used to the teeth (or in this case bony ridge) being white. A sign of cleanliness.

Default Augmentation: Eleventh Quirk, Sun-guarded Ocularization —
Just as it was with the question pertaining to baseline teeth and their previous inability to grow back the same way hair and nails do, another arose when the people of Galliadurm thought of the sun. It is wonderfully gorgeous, the light it brings and the beauty it blankets the land in. Even in the depths of a desert. Some folks would like to look into this source of beauty without damaging their eyes, you know? So with that said, allow us to introduce to you the next addition to our set of biological augmentations. This augmentation affords an individual the ability to gaze directly at the sun or other intense light sources without worry of suffering any long-term harm. The fun begins at the microscopic level where specialized pigments are introduced within the eye's various layers. These pigments have the unique property of absorbing and dispersing the excess light energy, preventing it from reaching sensitive structures such as the retina. This augmentation also incorporates a sufficiently sophisticated network of microscopic light filters that selectively block specific wavelengths of light associated with harmful radiation. Along with the specialized pigments and filters act of safeguarding, this augmentation also enhances the eye's natural ability to regulate the amount of light entering the pupil.

Additional information here. Through enhanced muscle control and responsiveness, the eyes due in part to this augmentation can rapidly adjust their aperture to accommodate sudden changes in light intensity, affording proficient comfortability. However in spite of this, extreme conditions which include prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extremely high-energy light sources are still a significant problem under normal circumstances. One may look, but one may not look for too long without protective eyewear. But further onto the good side of things, the potential problems that could crop up from dealing with individual variances and long-term effects have long since been approached and handled. So factors such as existing eye conditions, individual sensitivities, and genetic variations will not negatively affect this quirk's proficiency. As with all of the augmentations afforded to the Gallianese people, by default this augmentation comes tailored to each individual's unique requirements. Ensured it is to naturally fit with the body, due in part to the Soma Carols mentioned above.

Default Augmentation: Twelfth Quirk, Phallic Snuggery —
Just as the women and the feminine-oriented epimen needed assured safety during birth with the marsupialization of their wombs, the men and the masculine-oriented epimen needed safety for their swimming soldiers. Thus it was decided that this next augmentation would be aimed towards providing protection for men's phalluses. This augmentation features a robust fascia, nest, and prepuce meticulously designed to house and protect the male reproductive organs until the moment of their intended use. The nest presents itself as a discreet and discolored perforation, that which seamlessly blends in with the surrounding pubic hair. Adjacent to the opening lies an equally discolored veil of foreskin that drapes over the perforation like a curtain. Now while the men's and epimen's junk is nestled within the nest, there stands a vital physiological function at play that safeguards the phallus and testicles from overheating. This particular function is supported by temperature regulation through microscopic channels embedded within the nest. This facilitates gentle air circulation, preventing the buildup of excess heat which will compromise the well-being of these delicate organs. And when the need arises, with a seamless and fluid motion, the men and epimen can effortlessly withdraw their reproductive organs, like a sword drawn from its scabbard.

Paradise Beach, Roxium Federation Augusta (Cape of Good Hope) Territory, Planet Augusta, Solar System Amaterasu-Gamma 3, Roxium Galactic District Volkron, Solania Galaxy, Galactic Union Sector Trigon, Augusta's Universe

With all their legal documents, ID, and passport valid and in order, the agent is allowed through Roxium border control. The port of entry they used, a port in Paradise Beach, has a strange mixture of Japanese and tropical paradise vibes. People of various nationalities go about their days, many carrying souvenirs that a number of Roxium locals may find "tacky".

Paradise Beach is a very tourist-oriented coastal city that was founded by some eccentric business man over 100 years ago. It was originally intended to cater to mainly foreign tourists, but things happened and Paradise Beach was forced to shift its priorities a bit. The port of entry used by the agent is towards the far-western edge of town, crammed between a large cargo/container port and the western end of the city's so-called "Caribbea Ward", a district/ward that was modeled after an "Idyllic Atlantis Caribbea Clan town" (Mixture of various Caribbean nations, mostly Cuba).

Even within the port, a variety of alien races are present, as are numerous examples of Roxium products and culture. A nearby TV is showing a trailer for some anime movie, shops are selling stuff that ranges from fairly mundane/normal to bizarre (Even by Roxium standards), music that sounds a lot like traditional Chinese music but with some modern instruments thrown is heard playing over the loud speakers of a nearby restaurant, and that same restaurant has signs advertising something called a "Amai-Tsurai Gangnam Kraken Roll".

Practically all the signs are bi-lingual, having text in both Augustan Common/English and a Roxium language called Pogashanese. Pogashanese text looks like Chinese, Japanese, and Korean writing, with the Chinese and Japanese writing forming one writing system, and the Korean writing forming another.

Reaching the hospital the Galliadurman tourist is in should be easy, as said hospital is directly connected to the Paradise Beach Metro, as is the port the agent used to enter the Roxium Federation. Though trying to navigate said Metro might be a bit... difficult due to the Paradise Beach Metro system map being... convoluted. (Complex/convoluted transit maps are a problem in most Roxium urban areas, especially the megacities)

Transmu-AA1-Azeroth-Worgen is known for its normally somewhat speedy transformation times (How long it takes for the transformation to happen from start to finish) and variable "Incubation times" (Time between initial infection/affliction and start of transformation).
The particular "Strain" that tourist was afflicted with, Transmu-AA1-Azeroth-Worgen-B7, has a nominal "Incubation period" of at most 2 hours and a transformation time of around 3 and a half hours. The 2 hour "Incubation period" is unusually fast for this Transmu disease (Majority of AA1-Azeroth-Worgen "Strains" take upwards of 12+ hours to "Incubate"), and the transformation time is a little on the slow side (Average AA1-Azeroth-Worgen transformation time is somewhere between 1 and 2 hours).
Being magical in nature, it is highly unusual for the victim's immune system to react to its presence, as said magical nature normally allows Transmu-AA1-Azeroth-Worgen to completely bypass the immune system. Even when the immune system does respond to Transmu-AA1-Azeroth-Worgen, it almost always fails to have any meaningful impact on its progression. It is even rarer for the immune system to have an effect on the transformation.
There have been a number of documented cases of Transmu-AA1-Azeroth-Worgen turning fatal due to the victim's immune system response, an exceedingly rare reaction called Immuno-Transmu Shock. Doctors have pre-emptively placed that Galliadurman tourist in the ICU due to said tourist being "High-Risk" for Immuno-Transmu Shock. The majority of Immuno-Transmu Shock cases involving Transmu-AA1-Azeroth-Worgen occur during the mid-to-late portions of the transformation, when the victim's internal anatomy is shifting. Should an Immuno-Transmu Shock reaction happen, the only thing doctors can do is pump the tourist full of healing magic and pray.

???, Twisting Nether

After what seemed like an eternity of hell, the tourist finally has a respite from the experiments. He is somehow still alive despite having his body ripped open and his innards shoved about (along with the Perädu Torq having been quite painfully ripped from his body).

Fel corruption starting to affect what's left of his body is part of the reason why he isn't dead yet. Large chunks of flesh are missing, as are several organs. Much of his skin is gone, leaving muscle and bone exposed. Bits and pieces of some kind of strange black metal have been painfully grafted/fused to his body, largely to cover up some of the holes left over from the experiments. What remains of his skin has started taking on an unnatural, almost demonic, shade of red as his eyes and veins glow green with Fel...

While the physical trauma my be over with for now, the mental trauma has only just begun...

The experiments may have been somewhat disappointing, but the DDR still sees him as a valuable specimen...

Unholy forces work to poke, prod, and torment his mind...

Perhaps the DDR needs to take another approach to studying his Uqera node and Anasvapti... A more... magic-focused approach...

"You won't be receiving the "exotic" cuisine samples," Imel flatly stated. "We've learned our lesson after an unrelated sequence of events. Don't mind me for not explaining, that was a blunder on our part with those people."

"Instead you'll be receiving "regular" food. I'm sure something more casual can be whipped up for you two."

(Honestly, I'm not really sure where this RP is going, but we'll see. One RP with Aeri about the formation of an alliance between one Tyramonian noble house and one Aerlanican one led to a werewolf raiding Tyramonian convoys while searching for their long-lost love and/or long-lost vampire friend that they left behind when escaping from the cult that was trying to enslave them and investigate their alien ancestry.)

The Tyramonian delegation seemed relieved with this.
"Ah, excellent. Indeed, we aren't looking for a culinary adventure, just some nourishment for our general population."

"It's a bit hard to hide a large pyramid in Low Planetary Orbit," Jonathan said in reply, "then again, the government must remain transparent; maintenance of public trust and so forth. But here we are, one vessel ready to take us to the planet's surface. And fear not; we Aerlanicans recognise the need for secrecy of planets."

Once they entered the hangar, the Soldiers present slowly nodded towards the comments made by Kas'kalor.

"We have seen large creatures such as yours," the Shakar spoke, "I have sung songs about those hunts, and heard many more. But to see one as big as you with feathers no less...it is new."

"I haven't seen dragons outside of books and comics myself," one soldier commented, "let alone one that didn't immediately rip out the guts of any fella before them."

"Let us be glad they are on our side, pity the parties who cross these such dragons, and avoid antagonising them to avoid more inconveniences." Jonathan commented. "While I am confident in our ability to hold our own against their nation, there's no need for violence between us."

They boarded the freighter and a rather...lacklustre (at best) interior met them. It was in reality little more than a large cargo bay with some pillows, fabrics, cloths and soft materials covering a portion of it for the dragon. To compare it to what Kas'kalor had in the transports they rode in, or the ones held by Fivalia, would be too charitable to be logical. Then again, the Aerlanicans haven't exactly had to deal with large sentient creatures.

Steve's frills gently ruffled as he inspected the process of "skating", and he peered closely at the contraption foreign to him. With a flick of his tail, he nodded.
"So...these are found at Skateparks, and that is where they are made, yes? They seem...redundant; you cannot 'skate' over mud or dirt, you will sink in, they are only useful for flat rock, like this."

Yoan looked over to the Aerlanicans and noticed their smirks; they appeared to know what skateboarding was, yet were participating in some mild schadenfreude with respect to the Lazarin's lack of knowledge

As for Weaves-Tale, she explained;

"I need water for my eggs that I will lay," she said, "I am not like Keeps-Fire, who can lay eggs on land. Thus, I need water to keep them safe, moist and at a proper heat."

In response to Gulipas, Lewis raised an eyebrow.
"Gulipas? What's that?"

Penelope gave an innocent smile to Tammy and shrugged.
"They are one and many, sep...sep-a...se-pa-rate and whole...all singing, many voices one voice many. But not control, never control, only harmonise."

"When harmonise-" She flung a finger up as if to demonstrate, "-I nudge. Better harmonies, bigger nudges."

She then held out her hands to Tammy and smiled warmly.

"I show! Show Tam-my harmonise! Show Tam-my chorus!"

"No no no, you just brought up how you're unwell under our weather," Moesi says with eyes set on the snowy amazonian. "Uhm.. oh! We have skin screen suits that you could wear. Mom gave away her spare but I'm sure there's still some in the store. Paapa!" Moesi suddenly turns away from Wed'uina with the mind to ask Chisha about this. "Papa, may we get her one?"

"If that's what she wants, did ya bring this by her first?"

"I was going to, but I wanted to get permission from you first,~" Moesi exclaims with eyes once again trailing off towards his sister Mari this time as she makes her way into the kitchen to begin preparing the movie essentials. Karin didn't follow her and instead went up to her room so that she could oogle over her project one more time. Channa is still standing next to the door that has now been slid shut and locked. That bus could no longer be seen now, more because the driver had resumed on his route to the next stop for the youth in his presence.

Why has she fallen silent?

"Would you be alright with this, ultraterrestrial slushie?" nicknames now? Cool. "It won't take me long to get one for you, they're made to be one-size-fits-all.. as they say. Don't want you catching a heat stroke now."

Len furrowed their brow.
"Very well, however I fail to see how that is prudent considering there isn't any of my kin currently soon to be made. I'm not ready to have children...yet at least."

They leapt atop the table and sat.
"So, what now?"

While Ameli was far from Iblion and Delegata, one could hardly say that she was alone as she sat, chained to the floor, in some strange cave. Swirling around her was a grey mist that was alive, the combined essence of countless failed sorcerers. Furthermore, life was being created continuously around her - plants, animals, even varieties of mold. But none of it was healthy; all of it was deformed and mutated horrendously.

It seemed that Ameli was under some great stress, and was uncontrollably creating life as a strange sort of coping mechanism.

Paradise Beach, Roxium Federation Augusta (Cape of Good Hope) Territory, Planet Augusta, Solar System Amaterasu-Gamma 3, Roxium Galactic District Volkron, Solania Galaxy, Galactic Union Sector Trigon, Augusta's Universe

Paradise Beach is a "Moderately Sized" (By Roxium standards) city. While not a megacity, it is still large enough to give places like Tokyo and Shanghai a run for their money. The hospital is located in the midst of a sea of dense Tokyo-esque developments situated between one of the main highrise-laden beach districts and the skyscraper-filled "Urban Core", a number of those skyscrapers exceeding a kilometer in height. A web of Japanese-style expressways runs throughout the city, as does a few railways other than the Metro.
Along part of the agent's flight path is an elevated viaduct for one particular form of Roxium rail transport called the magrail, a Territory-spanning network of magitek-enhanced high-speed rail lines linking all the major cities together. The thing that gives the magrail its name is its third mana-electromagnetic monorail-like... rail. The magrail, like a majority of other Roxium passenger railways, is electrified, specifically with overhead lines. The agent has likely seen one of the very sleek magrail bullet trains traveling along the viaduct at almost 200 miles per hour/~322 kilometers per hour. (Magrail trains regularly operate at upwards of 370 miles per hour/~595 kilometers per hour, depending on track conditions)

The hospital itself is nestled among a small cluster of Hong Kong-esque apartment towers, and is a complex of interconnected mid to highrise buildings. Atop the hospital's tallest buildings are landing pads for shuttles.

The agent arrived just as an ambulance was being dispatched, specifically to the scene of a traffic incident a few blocks away. The agent may or may not have seen the incident unfold, said incident being a collision between a tram/streetcar and a car driven by someone who was being reckless. (Driver was speeding and ran a red light before crashing into the tram.)

Inside the hospital, the agent is brought to where the tourist is being held. The tourist is currently hooked-up to several medical magitek devices that are monitoring all the vitals. One of the doctors states that they're currently trying to suppress the tourist's immune system in an attempt at avoiding a likely fatal Immuno-Transmu Shock reaction. They've also put the tourist to sleep/under anesthesia so they don't have to deal with any "Extreme Pain" resulting from their immune system affecting the transformation.
Due to Transmu-AA1-Azeroth-Worgen's magical nature, it is impossible to stop the transformation once it begins. It is however, possible to "Reverse" it... With some specialized drugs and magic, a victim of Transmu-AA1-Azeroth-Worgen can be granted the ability to transform between their normal and worgen forms at will. This is the closest thing to a cure there is. All the others that were afflicted in the same incident as the tourist have already been given this treatment (Along with drugs that prevent them from spreading it) and discharged.

Speaking of transformation... The fur has by now spread across the tourist's entire body, and their limbs have started shifting. Their head is also starting to shift, as seen by their face and ears being noticeably... longer.

???, Twisting Nether

The DDR are no strangers to having experiments go horribly wrong. As for their "Homeworld"... The Twisting Nether is a parallel plane of reality, its own universe with its own countless, functionally infinite, worlds. The annihilation of a single world, or even several, is but a drop in the bucket... The DDR regularly rips apart (And sometimes reforms) entire worlds in many of their experiments, particularly the more recent ones involving their attempts at using Primaeri tech.

Sensing the strong... "Magics" of the Anasvapti, the DDR decides to back off on using Fel magic. Meanwhile, that tourist's mind is likely starting to crack under the constant torture. There's a very good possibility that the tourist's mind will shatter soon, their sanity being destroyed in the process...

Remembering what happened with that other tourist, some of the demons are wondering if it's possible to weaponize that violent reaction between Anasvapti and Fel, to turn any person with Anasvapti into a living bomb...

Every since Galliadurm has done away with hunting living animals, those vat-grown options have grown wilder and wilder.

Much to the confusion and dismay of most foreigners. Luckily Imel will be sticking to his word and won't part ways with those exotic options.

Whale meat, as wild as this may sound, isn't considered an "exotic treat". A little bit of a history lesson here, the consumption of whale meat almost out-competed the consumption of beef when eating pork fell out of fashion all those years ago. Onomi and toaster strudels go well together for a light breakfast here. Though "unesu sausages" hasn't had the chance to become a thing since turkey and beef.. and sometimes chicken has taken that spot.

However she wore her emotions on her face as she now sat herself cross legged on the chair.

"How about we see what Yimmi is doing? Or something else fun, I'm game~."

Penelope nodded with a smile, however Upon seeing Laith enter the room Penelope's eyes ignited with joy.

"LAITH!" She squealed happily. Tammy and Laith felt a surge of joy and elation as Penelope's emotions "leaked" into her surroundings. She swiftly leapt from her sitting area and charged forth, bringing Laith into a hug; Laith also felt her briefly squeeze him too tightly before easing off, consciously making an effort to ensure she did not harm him.

"Laith...am...sorry for being...not nice." She said with a frown. "you ok?"

Len frowned as they ruffled their tail feathers. Then, with a slow nod, they turned to Laum.

All around Spencer was a swirling gray mist. Some of the mist seemed centered on Ameli, some now centered on Spencer, but also the mist swirled around a number of the deformed creatures and a few of the plants that were certainly out of place. One thorny vine wrapped around Spencer's leg, its thorns trying to pierce his skin.

Despite being half celestial, Spencer's skin was not that much stronger than that of a normal human. While more effort had to be made, incisions cut into Spencer's leg causing some noticeable bleeding. With a yelp, and with blood seeping through his pant leg at a noticeable but not life-threatening rate. Spencer attempted to wrestle the Thorns off telekinetically; he wasn't too sure about the mist and if it had any flammable properties to it, but he assumed that simply throwing the vine off would at least avoid any unintended repercussions.

As he tried to remove the vine, and as each thorn was pulled upon, the thorn released a pain-causing chemical into Spencer, as if to punish him for or dissuade him from trying to remove the thorns. The thorns were barbed, and removing them would be very painful. However, the vine broke off below his foot. He could now move, and could go to save Ameli now, or he could try to remove the part of the vine that was still wrapped around him, which would be extremely painful.

She found a two-meter-diameter glowing orb, with a couple dozen glowing filaments connected to it. She found that she could quite easily remove the filaments, which then darkened as if losing power or something similar. Soon, the orb was fully disconnected. Curiously, the orb seemed to float, providing its own antigravity, making it somewhat easier to move around, though it was still quite heavy, so inertia would make moving still somewhat difficult. But it was doable, not to mention that she had no trouble teleporting it.

"You will receive your challenge, for now, rest well and eat well, we shall duel in the morning...to you- she turned to those who only wanted her death, -who want violence, I will show you the cost of your pettiness and hatred; demanding that I prove my right to rule is one thing, but wanting my death is unacceptable."

Spencer was no stranger to pain, and while they were certainly a major distraction, Spencer was still able to recognise that having this vine continue to cause him agony in such a way would threaten many mishaps with his spells; while the chemicals failed to get much root on Spencer due to his resistance to toxins, the barbed thorns sticking into him were painful enough. As such, Spencer produced a small shard of condensed magic, about the size of a pen knife, and began to gently cut the vine around his leg into smaller pieces. Then, he individually extricated the small fragments of vine in a slow, controlled manner as to avoid unnecessary damage even if it caused blood to be spilt.

Nelly grimaced at how big the orb was; it would be impossible to hide. But, a deal was a deal, and so she placed her hand on the orb and disappeared. After hiding it (in a secretive location) she withdrew back to her quarters.
