Tensions among Spanish military commanders and elected government explode over possibility of foreign policy change, which reportedly revitalizes Spanish imperialist goals

The Spanish government divided itself today when a group of Spanish military commanders led by General Miguel Villarroya proposed a change to the Torres administration's foreign policy that would reportedly revitalize and open the path to Spanish imperialist goals. The rumors, which leaked from an unknown press correspondent for the Spanish army command, have turned heads in the elected government and has caused some leading figures, such as Prime Minister Augustina Torres and King Felipe VI, to speak out against the possibility of Spanish imperialist and colonialist ambitions. On the other hand, Spanish military commanders like General Villarroya, General Francisco Salas, and Admiral Jose Trevino have advocated in support of the proposed change, which some allege will allow the military to pursue imperialist goals 'for the fatherland'. These divisions in the Spanish government and military establishment have caused rifts between politicians, military commanders, and the Royal Family of Spain, with some left-wing politicians claiming a coup is possible.

Following the proposal of the change, Prime Minister Augustina Torres, head of state and the current elected government, spoke out in opposition to the change, claiming it would damage modern Spanish ideals and compromise world peace. Many politicians and Spaniards alike are in support of the Prime Minister's rhetoric, but the resentful Spanish Socialist Workers Party (PSOE), led by Pedro Sanchez, has voiced their support for the military's proposed changes, claiming the Prime Minister is 'weak and fragile' and 'knows not how to stand up to threats to Spanish freedoms and democracy'. The Prime Minister spoke out once more against the PSOE, attributing Spanish-Moroccan tensions to the 'rowdy, undemocratic, and anti-liberal' government of Sanchez, from 2019 to 2024. The Prime Minister and her supporters have voiced the idea that peace is the path to the survival of humanity, and imperialist urges and goals must be cast aside in support of a greater, more unified world, while military commanders and the PSOE, who holds a bare majority over Prime Minister Torres' Citizens Party, voice the idea that Spain 'must do everything in her power to defend her interests locally and abroad'. The tide turned against the Prime Minister when the PSOE and Sanchez blamed Torres for the hesitancy of Spain to intervene in Yemen, stating that 'Spain is leaving hundreds of thousands to starve and suffer as fighting continues'.

Not all the news is bad for the Prime Minister, though. On July 3rd, His Majesty King Felipe VI, Crown of Spain, addressed the Spanish government at a routine assembly of the Cortes Generales, calling for peace, unity, and solidarity between Spanish government officials. He stated that, 'petty arguments and fighting mean nothing compared to our service to our country and our people'. He asked that the Spanish government, and military commanders, cast aside their imperialist and non-imperialist ideals to work together as one. Immediately, PSOE senators began kindly speaking against the King's rhetoric, calling the Spanish government weak. A riot almost ensued with Citizens Party senators attempting to brawl with PSOE senators, before being restrained and kicked out by the Guardia Civil. On July 5, the King officially announced his backing for Prime Minister Torres' rhetoric, stating that he was in firm support of her ideals and stances. 'It is not our business to meddle in a conflict thousands of miles away, that doesn't even affect us in any manner', the King stated. With support from the Spanish monarchy, the Prime Minister and the CS began pushing back, retaliating and offering counter-proposals to attempt to halt the military's wishes to change the government's foreign policy.

However, on July 7, the Cortes Generales reached a compromise, announcing the military's proposal will be considered, as well as all involved parties' arguments. The announcement dealt a blow to the Prime Minister and her supporters, with the PSOE and the military reveling in their success against the elected government. While many clearly understand and know that no military operations can be undertaken without the approval of King Felipe VI, some believe, including General Villarroya, that the King can be swayed towards the side of the military. Immediately after the situation cooled then exploded once more, some analysts stated that the recent military expansion programs could've been leading up to this point, a point that could change Spain's position and stance on the world stage forever.

Uribe Returns
2024
Medillín

Having recently been released from a second house arrest, Álvaro Uribe, who brought Gran Colombia to it's greatest levels of success began forming a coalition to remove President Juan Santos and install himself seeing how President Santos had not carried out the promises made in the elections. He'd do so in the upcoming elections in Colombia as the Colombian side still recognises elections, while the Venezuelan side led by Nicolas Maduro does not hold elections due to his tight grip on the Colombians in that region of Gran Colombia. Álvaro Uribe, once re-elected would begin the process of fully integrating both into one single body, but not until Maduro is removed, as on a basic level, both Santos and Uribe share the same idea of collapsing communism and taking out Maduro. While Santos is seen as more centre right wing, Uribe is a proud Gran Colombian who wishes only the best for the nation and that includes ensuring the nations people are protected and better versed in education and in careers. Uribe privately contacted Juan Guaido and promised him the vice presidency regardless of him taking Maduro out. Guaido agreed seeing how Uribe would be a stronger leader for the nation. Uribe would begin to also reach out the the minorities as well to secure his base. Social media and local news as of now have forgiven Uribe for his past mistakes and some are requesting interviews to get a sense as to what he'd do in a second term as president.

PERHAPS SOME ROOM FOR NEGOTIATION?

The Ministry of Employment and Labour responded in a rather cold and legal sort of way, stating that they were happy to provide any assistance with regards to understanding the law but not directly making any promises or offerings regarding the situation of Kleinauer. Specifically their response was mainly aimed at her sick leave, underlining Article 5.A of her employment contract which permits periods of sick leave up to but not exceeding 5 days (a working week), with the possibility for an extension to 7 days with the approval of her employer. The Ministry provided contact details for San Salvador Security Solutions own HR department, as well as contact details to the Secretary of its CEO, which in a twist of irony was Kleinauers own Phone Number. Regarding the costs of the sick leave, the Ministry further provided information on Article 9.F which states that in the unlikely event that an Employee is unable to carry the cost of healthcare, the employer shall cover it, but by doing so their service to said employer is put on a fixed term during which the employee cannot leave without repaying the borrowed funds.

Military command wins major diplomatic victory over elected government in Madrid as Cortes Generales approves change to foreign policy; military force kept on high alert

Opponents to the current administration and military commanders celebrated their diplomatic victory over the elected government in Madrid after the Cortes Generales, to the dismay of Prime Minister Augustina Torres, passed changes to the Spanish foreign policy that could pave the way to Spanish imperialist ambitions. The issue started almost a week ago when a group of military commanders, led by General Miguel Villarroya, proposed a change to the Spanish foreign policy that reportedly would revitalize Spanish imperialist goals. While the Prime Minister, Augustina Torres, and King Felipe VI were strong opponents of the change, backed by the Prime Minister's party and almost 41% of Spaniards (according to recent polls), the PSOE, a left wing socialist party led by former Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, were strong supporters of the change, claiming it would allow Spain to stand up to threats to Spanish freedom and democracy. The divisions in the government resulted in an attempted brawl, which was subduded by Guardia Civil officers. The scuffles in the government eventually led to the Spanish Cortes allowing the proposed change to pass through the Cortes Generales, and possibly pass it.

On July 9, the Cortes Generales ruled in favor of changing the foreign policy to include General Villarroya's proposals. King Felipe VI quietly - and some say somberly - signed the change into law, which political analysts claim will change the course of Spain's position on the world stage for the foreseeable future. Prime Minister Augustina Torres also begrudgingly signed the document into law, which led to many believing she was not actually a fervent opponent of the proposal, but only opposed it strongly to keep up her liberal facade. The new change to the foreign policy states that, 'the Spanish government and military holds the right to, whenever she sees fit, to deploy military forces into regions deemed so unstable that Spain is negatively affected to some degree'. Many Spaniards immediately seemed to think that this applies to the Middle East and the conflict in Yemen, but lower military officials and learned civilians had a different view.

Prime Minister Torres, while obviously disgruntled while leaving the Cortes, commented, 'while this change was originally opposed by me and my party, as well as His Majesty the King, we have decided that this is the best course of action to take, considering Spain's current standing'. Reporters immediately clamored, asking what she meant by current standing. The Prime Minister refused to comment, and left the Cortes in one of the government's newly arrived Tesla Model 3 electric vehicles. According to online polls done after the Cortes announced their ruling, a lowly 9% of Spaniards were dissatisfied with the Prime Minister's decision, while 45% were in favor, believing she knew what was truly right for Spain, with the rest abstaining. King Felipe VI refused to comment as he left the Cortes, as did PSOE party leader Pedro Sanchez, but he did leave with a smile on his face. General Villarroya also refused to comment, but was obviously as happy as Sanchez was with the result.

Later the same day, Prime Minister Augustina Torres also stated at a public press conference that Spain now disregarded all possibilities of a Spanish intervention in Yemen any further than humanitarian aid. She stated that, 'Yemen is not our business. The Saudis and the Arab Federal States are already fighting for the good of the people, and they are more than capable to do that'. While Spain was now obviously not intervening in the Middle East in any manner or degree, some were intrigued by the fact that the 35,000 Spanish soldiers and armored, air, and sea units kept on high alert as the Special Deployment Squadron (SDS) were not settled down or removed from high alert status. This has led people to believe that Spain could be considering a deployment elsewhere, or the military is just highly paranoid. Most Spaniards agree on the latter, but some continue their arguments on social media platform Twitter.

IN TOKYO ― CITIZENS AGAINST IMMIGRATION PUT THE PRIME MINISTER IN ALERT

    Reiwa 6 ― July 9, 2024

KANTEI, TOKYO — [...] Earlier this month, the Prime Minister Suga announced that he would continue to encourage immigration, as well as other Fmr. Administrations — but that certainly did not please citizens who are against immigration. After Suga's announcement, there was negative criticism on the matter, but the Prime Minister did not feel pressured, "The only way to deal with the shortage of labor in the country [...] given that Japan is still aging, is to open the country to immigrants, so that the economy does not stop," says Suga. Now, that somehow did not please the protesters, "Japan has always been a nation with a strict immigration policy [...] and now Suga wants to open the country even more to immigrants," say the protesters. The Prime Minister in response to the protests said, “We need to face the reality, that even with the fertility rate increasing due to social maternity programs [...] our population is aging and our job market will be empty [...] with that we need to stimulate immigration."

He was also known for his broadcasts featuring other nations with his two trips to the United States of Paramerica. He was in the headlines recently due the attempt on his life by one of the members of the Turkestan Ground Forces in the Iranian village of Āytemer due to a joke about Kyrgyz women to a Kyrgyz man. The soldier reportedly fired two rounds at Borat nearly hitting him in the head. This story led to his future of being the Minister of Foreign Affairs due to the President’s love for his shows and life in general. Polaikov has been around the media for most of his political career and that would include Borat, a strong friendship would be formed by the two as Borat was apart of Polaikov’s many interviews and press announcements. Polaikov would personally call and inform Sagdiyev of his appoint to the seat of Minister of Forgein Affairs and given the responsibility to meet with forgein heads of state and diplomats. After this Promotion a 5 hour ceremony would be held in Tashkent and then another one in Astana for Sagdiyev’s family to better attend the ceremony.

It took its knocks over the coming half-decade, as did much of the things those assumed would not. Tesla (TSLA) by now was not the only player on the EV market, even if it still awed its true believers. But like Bitcoin, it had ushered in a new era, and in a way, a restoration of an Paramerican industry that once gave away to the Germans and Japanese, had retaken its leadership on the road once more. He knew its core, as did many who worked on campus, or studied in its colleges; Stanford & Co. — — It was Silicon Valley, and its efforts to turn established orders on its head. And the sheer irony at times, how new technology tended to battle its old established monoliths, like the Big Thumbs-Up — that had become, in its desire to dominate, a centralized monopoly of data holding, a cartel that used its vast resources to direct public opinion, for better or worse.

The counter-trends were not just Encryption and Cryptocurrency, even fellow giants like APPLE sought to overthrow the data centric order that drove organizations like Cambridge Analytica to meddle in national electoral affairs worldwide. His company was fighting in a way, a two front war. Between other internet empires that saw a different vision of how the internet and privacy should be done — and digital barbarians at the gates.

—And that’s when he stopped typing again. For he figured what he started in a Harvard campus dorm roughly two decades ago, a revolution, a Social Network of profit, could be stolen by methods that would one day answer to the very same Federal authorities he once had to testified before — There really was no way of knowing what came next.

WASHINGTON D.C., Paramountica — EARLY MORNING
SENATORIAL COMMITTEE

    EST Time (UTC -5)

A live MSNBC feed of an empty committee room, being prepped for a testimony of great interest to the national audience, before the row of chairs of the Commerce and Judiciary Committees, a single chair was positioned before a lower desk — the testimony later that morning would be delivered by a man who’s pseudonym would remain upheld by Federal authorities as per agreements laid out between Government lawyers and private Silicon Valley ones, and that was true enough so far — as a Senatorial floor staffer positioned the pseudonym’s nameplate before the desk — Satoshi Nakamoto.

THE FACEBOOK

It should be an interesting hearing, to see the face finally of the man who lead the drafting of the White Paper on Bitcoin. But either way, after a long day of scheduled items, he probably wouldn’t be awake to see it live, and would have to catch it on his Facebook Live feed in the afternoon — A few more key strokes and the Mission Statement was live on his blog, instantly dispatched to his nearly 200 million followers, a fraction of the 2.5 million people who checked, swiped down and up, laughed, raged and pondered on his website.
