      대조선국
      KINGDOM OF KOREA

A Panicky Korea Looks to Stabalise Itself as Major Ally Crumbles

      | Korea's economic success had been something of a miracle story when compared with the rest of Asia and indeed at the time its northern counterpart. In more modern terms Korea had aligned itself to liberal and democratic bastions, save for the SGRI which became a reliable partner throughout its existence. The Empire of Iran had been a stable and key ally of Korea since the 1980s and the two considered each other their strongest ally on the world stage, their economcies had intertwind to levels many economists would consider dangerous. However that wouldn't matter, both were stable partners with no natural enemies, right? In a matter of hours that had fallen apart, an invasion by Russia into the Caucauses and Central Asia's invasion into the north to claim Turkic lands had completely turned this idea on its head. |

      | It would be an understatement to suggest elements of Korean society weren't in complete panic about the unfolding situation in Iran, it would be bloody stupid to even suggestion the notion it didn't matter. Iran's economy was in free-fall of a cliff, and Korea's economy happened to have a roped tied around its ankle attached to Iran's. Korea's economy had already dipped by roughly 2.5% with the financial sector taking the biggest hit, technology firms had been minorly affected on the stock market with many of their Middle Eastern branches operating out of Tehran. Northern Korea had lost its major supply line into Iran and the Middle East with the trans-Siberian line that was extended into Iran suffered extensive damages during the invasion. |

      | Korea's economy isn't the only thing getting caught up in the ensuing collapse of the Iranian Empire. The Joseon Dynasty and Diba Dynasty have arguably some of the closest of allies in private as well as during their national duties. Some rumours are abound that secret meetings that took place during the many years since the two families first began contact could leak, but the more pressing point is, Yi Jung-hee. The Prince turned politician, and contender for Prime Minister, is married to the former Shah of Iran and lived their for four years after Park swept to power and overstayed her welcome through force. Korea's liberal traditions have strong links to the Iranian regime with the government-in-exile setup and operating from Tehran for three years. What happens in Iran certainly won't stay in Iran, and as this situation unfolds Korea needs to find stability and fast or it risk falling over itself. |

      | ANKARA | - Despite the horrors at Iran and Oman, things are progressing for the Turkish sultanate. Cyprus has held a referendum if the Cypriot Turks could join the sultanate, with results as a massive 74% approval of joining the Sultanate, Cyprus had no other choice but to cede Lefkoşa, Gazimağusa, Girne, Güzelyurt, İskele and Lefke which are all Majority Turk. Calibrations across northern Cyprus as the unification is signed between Cypoit-Turkish officials on television. Back on Turkey people are cheering for such unification to happen. More and more the Turkic Peoples are becoming united, Cyprus joins turkey as an autonomous province with Ersin Tatar elected as representative.

"This shall be a glorious day for the Turkish Cypriot peoples, unification is achieved, a new future shall be in place for this Region!" says President Erdogan during his speech at North Nicosia. Economical, Defense, and Social programs are announced by the Sultan. More details will be described soon. Without a troop being sent or a bullet being fired, Turkey has won a strategic victory in the name of democracy, peace, and coexistence between Greek and Turkish Cypriots. The Turkish Government was quick to bailout Cypriot banks and ensure that retailers stopped price gouging customers while restocking the shelves.

President Erdoğan even had a sit down with key spiritual and religious leaders of Cyprus to include Archbishop Chrysostomos II leader of the Cyprus Orthodox Church and Turkish Cypriot Mufti Talip Atalay, along with Armenian and Maronite religious leaders to discuss religious and ethnic tolerance on the island. The Erdoğan administration has also invited archaeological dig and research teams to Cyprus as it is home to many ancient sites dating back thousands of year before the Ancient Egyptians. The new autonomous region of Cyprus is expected to flourish under Turkey to become a mecca for tourist from all over the world and outshine Monaco.

𝙻𝙰𝙱𝙾𝚄𝚁 𝙸𝚂 𝚁𝙴𝙵𝙾𝚁𝙼 — THE SUGA ADMINISTRATION WILL INCREASE THE AVERAGE MINIMUM WAGE TO ¥ 1,000 YEN

    Reiwa 6 ― June 23, 2024

        | NATIONAL DIET, TOKYO — [...] Mr. Taro Aso, the current Minister of Finance under Suga Administration, said in his speech to Parliament, "It will be very difficult for Japan to move its economy just with monetary easing, so I ask companies to raise their employees' salaries [...] If we want to see consumption soar, companies will have to make more profits for Japanese families [...] Japan is expected to raise its salary to ¥ 1,000 YEN ($ 9/hour)." In a way, this makes it clear that Mr. Aso's thoughts connect with Mr. Suga's, where the Prime Minister announced his intention just two days earlier, saying he would increase average minimum wage to ¥ 1,000 YEN in order to improve life Japanese workers.

However, some economists said that the meaning of "higher wages" for the Suga Administration means more voters to vote for the LDP in the 2027 elections, many support Abe's return to take over as Prime Minister again, mainly in the opinion public. The increase in the average minimum wage will be good for large and wealthy companies, but not for small companies in large cities, and it will be devastating especially in regional areas far from large cities where the average minimum wage is lower, an issue that is being discussed in the Economic Council of the Government*.

During the Council meeting, an economic strategy was presented that would be used to raise the average minimum wage, which would be government subsidies for small businesses in the regional areas and small businesses in large cities, the aid amount was decided at ¥ 700,000 YEN ($ 6.446,27 DOLLARS) for small businesses in large cities and ¥ 500,000 YEN ($ 4.604,48 DOLLARS) for small businesses in regional areas — With this published economic strategy, Suga presented the increase in the average minimum wage together with the decision of the Economic Council, where Parliament voted and approved the wage increase. |

Turkey opens its Concerns
The Review of what has happened so far in the middle east, and how Turkey shares its concerns about it.

By Ahmet Altan | JUNE 2024

______________________________________

      | ANKARA | - Tensions are increasing in the Middle east, wars are being fought, nations being annexed. It all started with Iran annexing Georgia and Armenia, Turkey was concerned at such expansion due to the current tensions between the Galla-Egyptian Axis and the Persian Gulf Pact, while Turkey is trying to maintain good relations with both sides this has given turkey a suspicious stance against Iran. On the same month Egypt has annexed Lebanon. This has urged Turkey to be on alert. The Sultan has increased relations the Arab Federal states and has began upgrading its navy in response to both annexations by Iran and Egypt. Later...bombing in Beirut, taking out the Presidential building during a cabinet meeting, and almost all of its surroundings. Almost the entirety of the Lebanese cabinet was in the building at the time, with there being no survivors left, leading to the deaths of the President, Prime Minister, and many other politicians.

Then Iran has embargoed Egypt with Saudi Arabia following, further increasing the tense relations in the Middle east. President Erdogan responded the bombing with saying, "I sense instability on the midst, I hope the Egyptians and Lebanese officials could track these terrorists down. The tragic bombing which has killed many authorities, Turkey offers help in such crisis, before the terrorists do any worse in a nation where the populations are already on edge." Minister of Defense & Foreign Affairs Nasser bin Hamad al-Khalifa al-Saud responded with the attack by saying, "The people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stand with the people of Lebanon in support after the tragic bombing of the Lebanese government facility, in a clear targeting of high profile government officials to bring instability and chaos to an already divided, troubled people. It is the hope of the Kingdom that the Lebanese and Egyptian authorities are able to determine who is responsible for this brutish action. It is the second hope of Saudi Arabia that the Egyptians and/or the Lebanese officials themselves are not directly responsible for this action of terrorism."

Then we have the real big event was with Russia invading with Turkestan, a former Turkish ally. With Russia declaring "annexation of sovereign republics in Russia’s natural space will not be tolerated". The Saudi Marshal of the Saudi Armed Forces Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Al Saud has said "The situation in the Caucasus and Central Asia are truly a shock and awe for the government of the Saudi Arabian Kingdom. Riyadh is currently evaluating the situation to determine the best course of action. At the end of the day, what is most important is the protection of Saudi national security and the people of Arabia. Riyadh will not and cannot rush into a conflict without all information acquired and filtered to make sure that decision making is effective, efficient, accurate, and successful" amidst the Iranian Invasion.

Oman was facing prosperity, until Saudi Arabia unjustifiably attacked the Omani Sultanate. Sultan Huzaifa Omar al-Muhrani has ordered a full cooperation of all its Military forces under the head commander Matar bin salim, however Oman has surrendered to the Saudis in this conflict. During the war Turkey has condemned Saudi Arabia for such attacks, with President Edrogan saying "The Unjustified attack on Oman is not acceptable. Now Saudi Arabia is dragging the Middle east into more conflict, more of this nonsense may cause Turkey to intervene if matters get out of hand. The Attack on Iran regarding the Caucasus is something Turkey still is on both sides, even though Iran is a partner in the middle east, its expansion into the Caucasus was unjust." Multiple other nations such as France, Japan, and, Spain has followed turkey and has condemned Saudi Arabia. With France urging to intervene in the conflict and Spain warning to protect Spanish interests in the middle east. And Japan concerned about the Oil industry in the middle east. However the Sultanate just sat down and watch the chaos worsen in the middle east.

Then what has put Turkey on the edge is the Gallan invasion of Yemen, the Sultanate has not put an official response although. Some politicians consider this may be the ticket from getting Turkey into war. The Sultanate has tried to stay on both sides tried to maintain good relations with all nations, it seems that its not going to work. Turkey will have to take a side. Regarding on the two current wars; The Iranian war is something that Turkey both supports and is concerned on, the unjustified expansion into Georgia and Armenia was unacceptable to the Sultanate, but the war Russia and Turkestan could completely destabilize Iran, not to mention their recent civil war. On the Gallan invasion of Yemen, France has put its troops in Djibouti on high alert but Turkey has not yet made a official response.

All in all, the Sultan has responded, "the current events in the middle east as a time ticking bomb that could could get Turkey involved in such mess, and could spread to the world. I urge for more diplomacy like during the peaceful times of MECO. The middle east is getting increasingly concerning for Turkey, despite our 'keeping good relations with both sides' policy."

Arab States Reaffirm Commitment To Turkish Partnership
__________

The shaky partition of the United Kingdom of Levant was just that: shaky. The country was bisected along previous borders: Syria to join the Arabs by democracy, and Lebanon to join Egypt by force. Understandably, Ankara and its Sultan found themselves on edge. Seeking to remedy this, Ayman Safadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, reached out to Turkey in hopes of soothing worries.

The message reaffirmed that Baghdad did not seek hostility or seek to pressure Turkey. It had no interest in pursuing the land dispute around Hatay province. It reiterated that Baghdad remained committed to the Tigris-Euphrates Enrichment Agreement and saw it as a baseline for further Arab-Turkish relations and cooperation. It suggested further cooperation on security, including joint efforts against PKK communists and terrorists and joint naval exercises in the Eastern Mediterranean. Above all, it hoped to confirm that Baghdad still views Ankara as a friendly and productive regional partner.

SOM KRIGSRASER OG TEMPERE LØP HØYT I MIDTØSTEN, ER NORGE SATT FOR Å FORBEDRE DET MILITÆRE

      ____________________

(OSLO - As tensions continue to run high in the Middle Eastern and East Africa regions, the Kingdom of Norway will again begin to further focus in improving it's military. Today in a press conference involving Minister of Defense Frank Bakke Jensen, Chief of Defense General Eirik Kristoffersen, Prime Minister Erna Solberg, and Minister of Finance Siv Jenson, the Norwegian government has expressed concern at the heightened state of conflict currently engulfing the Middle East as well as the involvement of the Russian military against the Empire of Iran.

"Our primary concern should be the defense of Norway itself, but we also have a duty to our allies and influences all over the world to be prepared to project our military anywhere should the need arise." Prime Minister Solberg was quoted of saying in the conference. During the conference addressing the state of affairs in the Middle East, it has been confirmed that the Kingdom of Norway is set to unveil another modernisation program in the coming months. This comes only days after France's order for forces in Djibouti to be placed on high alert due to the current war in the Middle East as well as the Gallan Empire's invasion of Yemen.

"We've only begun talks to introduce another modernisation plan, but we can confirm that such a plan would see more purchases of cutting edge weaponry, not just upgrades to existing platforms across all armed forces branches. We are also in talks of replacing Norway's M/98 camouflage with the standard multicam. We could also see this becoming the new Nordic Combat Uniform for our Scandinavian allies." Said Chief of Defense General Eirik Kristoffersen.

Although the plans are only just being discussed, Norwegian defense officials foresee the plan to be ready for finalization by late August and fully implemented by 2025.)

Spanish Government calls for end of conflict in the Middle East; official condemnation of Gallan invasion of Yemen declared

| A sigh of relief was breathed around the world when the Saudi-Omani conflict ended in a Saudi victory over the significantly outnumbered and militarily weaker Omani forces, but once more tensions exploded with the unjustified Gallan invasion of Yemen. The Spanish government in Madrid has called on the Gallan Empire to halt their unjustified and illegal invasion of Yemen, stating such a war would destabilize the Middle Eastern region and the trade routes from Asia to Europe that serves as the backbone of the global economy. Prime Minister Augustina Torres addressed the Spanish people at a televised press conference stating, 'the unjustified Gallan invasion of Yemen will do nothing but threaten the fragile peace the world is in'. |

| As a result of this, the Kingdom of Spain, upon the authorization of the Prime Minister and the Crown of Spain, delivered an official condemnation of the Gallan invasion of Yemen, stating the war will leave tens of millions in Yemen in a humanitarian crisis much more dire than the current humanitarian situation there. The Spanish government has reiterated that Spain will do anything in its power to maintain the balance of peace and prosperity in the Middle East through whatever means necessary. Prime Minister Augustina Torres has called for the declaration of a ceasefire in Yemen or the conflict will escalate further, which will damage both Middle Eastern stability and the global economy due to the world's dependence on the Suez Canal. |

| In response to unjustified Gallan aggression in Yemen, the Spanish armed forces have been placed on high alert, with the Navy assembling an emergency strike force in the case Spain decides to intervene on the behalf of Yemen. An estimated 35,000 Spanish infantrymen and armored forces, as well as the Spanish Mediterranean fleets are on high alert status. The Air Force has also stepped up aerial exercises over the Balearic Islands, practicing targeted bombing assaults with their newly arrived Dassault Mirage X fighters and nEUROn drones. The Spanish Foreign Ministry has stated that Spain will be willing to assist her allies, such as France or Sudan, if intervention is ever chosen. |

| While Spain has condemned Gallan actions and offensives into Yemen, Madrid has stated that communications with Addis Ababa will continue to flow through, and no trade sanctions will be imposed upon the Gallan Empire. King Felipe VI, Crown of Spain, stated, 'we can solve this peacefully and without bloodshed, but we must be willing to talk things out'. Spain has offered to mediate a possible ceasefire between Galla and Yemen to end fighting as soon as possible. |
