7th Stage of the Swedish Insurrection - Preparations Part 2

Map of the Frontlines on the 12th of April, 2023

Lappland Front Consolidates Control

The forces in the North were able to converge with eachother a few months ago. However, their situation was tenuous and they could have been beaten back if they failed to stabilize. Luckily for us the forces of the Lappland Front were able to fight back the offense by the SUDF and consolidate their control of the area. The surrounded SUDF forces were overrun with the last of the forces preforming a last stand in the hamlets of Maunu and Siikavuopio. The forces were decimated with almost the entirety of the 7th Lappland Company being killed. Only a couple either surrendered or jumped the border to Finland.

On the eastern side the forces were able to start pushing on National Road 99. This push was mainly accomplished by most of the 191st Mechanized Battalion. They were able to beat back the defenses of the SUDF in the area and take the villages of Kuttainen and Paittasjärvi. Currently, they have even mostly taken over the town of Saivomuotka, although there is still some resistance from the SUDF in the town.

Tärendö Captured with Pajala in our Sights

With the SUDF's attempted encirclement prevented in the battle of Ullatti, the SUDF in the assault had been on the back foot with the forces being pushed back to Tärendö. The SUDF was defending the town for almost 3 months before the city finally fell. One of the main factors in their downfall is the experience the Armed Forces in the assault have with the new mixed Land-Air strategy that the government is attempting. The JAS 39 Gripen as well as some other vehicles are used to support the Army through Close Air Support, Air Interdiction, and Aerial Support.

With Tärendö taken, the path to the town of Pajala is clear. The Armed Forces are already planning to attack Pajala, with most predicting a swift victory. When Pajala falls, National Road 99 will be wide open to take. With the control of National Road 99 secured, Planera Jörmungandr will be easily achieved. With Planera Jörmungandr successful, the doors to Yggrdrasil will be opened and our victory shall be assured.

Reports on the Behavior of the SUDF

With the SUDF falling in more and more dire straits, the forces have changed in response. One of the biggest changes is the desperation and ferocity of these fighters increasing as their situation grew worse. The amount of surrenders have dropped a large amount and many recent battles had the SUDF fighting to their last breath. Another strange change is their new fondness for the "Red Three" also sometimes called the "Red Triumvirate". It has been mentioned occasionally before, but they have recently started being mentioned far more frequently than before. While we do not know what the Red Triumvirate actually is, most believe that they are the group that is leading the SUDF. If that is the case then they most likely are made up of some of the S/SAP and V party members who left the Riksdag during the 2022 Stockholm Riots.

A worrying fact is that the SUDF'S cruelty is seemingly getting worse as they get more and more desperate. There have been recent cases of SUDF forces ignoring civilian lives in the pursuit of an attack on the armed forces. We have also found labs used by the SUDF with it seeming that they were trying to make certain chemicals. It is feared that these rebels are slowly turning into nothing more than terrorists. We'll just have to see what these forces do as their situation gets even more desperate.

FIKRE REFORMS FINALLY GO INTO FULL EFFECT!
MAJOR CHANGES IN DOMESTIC AND MILITARY POLICY!

ADDIS ABABA,
21 NOV 2023

The Imperial Grand Council has finally announced the conclusion of the famed Fikre Reforms, which have been ongoing for about two years since the unification of the Gallan race and the subjugation of Kenya. Led by Professor Fikre, a member of the Grand Council and esteemed professor of law, there have been numerous changes that will fundamentally change how the Empire functions. Some of the most important changes include:

    • The Imperial Army has been organized to increase to 600,000 soldiers. There will be an expansion in the Imperial Rocketry Force, with an emphasis in missile defense of strategic locations and the Gallan coastline. Imperial Paratroopers will be expanded to include two rapid assault brigades of 5,000 troops each. New doctrines of war will emphasize smaller division sizes with increased mobility and communication, and independence in the field. Galla's invasion of Kenya was marred by logistical hiccups due to rigid command structure. Once the army has sorted itself out, this will no longer be the case.

    • The abhorrent treatment of Kenyan citizens and service members will come to an immediate end, with a state corporation being formed to investigate cases of abuse. Fikre stated that "Treat men like beasts, and they will turn into them." Kenyan members of corporate & state police have been thrown into meat grinders again and again in efforts to pacify the area. Gallan commanders who ordered these suicide missions will be sacked, tried and jailed for their failures. Compensation will be offered to families who have lost members to these practices.

    • Kenyans will be allowed directly into the Imperial Grand Council. This was a deeply controversial move, due to Kenyans being of a different race than Gallans. However, activists and politicians argued tirelessly that as subjects of the Empire, individuals have a right to be represent their interests in legislature according to their merits. As such, Kenyan intellectuals and elites have been inducted. A smaller set of councils have been set up in the Rift Valley & South Coast Provinces, to grant Kenyans a platform on which they can cooperate with the Gallans.

    • Africa's first national digital currency is being adopted! The E-Vitissi, more widely refereed to as EVs, has been rolling in with the help of the People's Republic of China. Digital currency was already quite common in the Galla & Kenya before unification, but their economies have since merged and become more integrated. The EV will revolutionize the Gallan market, allowing for fast and easy conversions from other currencies into EVs. Kenyan & Gallan data scientists have been working together closely to make this a success, simultaneously improving relations between Bantu & Gallan.

In the wake of so many upheavals around the world, The Gallan Empire remains steadfast in its mission to fulfill peace and prosperity. With the race unified and relations between the Bantu & Gallan races improving, there is no limit to what can be achieved! Behind the scenes, plans of conquest are still in the works as an elite, highly organized cult pulls the strings of development. Their plans remain hidden, but one day they will be fully revealed as the destiny of the Empire.

The Fergana valley has for centuries been the heart of Central Asian cultures, but also a point of contention for Central Asia as ethnicities clashed the hardest in the fertile valley. Uzbek, Tajiks, and Kyrgyz lived side by side in the beautiful valley surrounded by the roaring Kuramen, Turkestan, and Alai mountains almost shielding the valley from the perception that they are a part of Central Asia. This was broken with the sight of Central Asian armed forces patrolling the Valley with their flags flying high above their vehicles.

Islamism has slowly seen a growth in all of Central Asia, but the Fergana Valley seemed to have a mystic effect as it seemed to exponentially grow any issue in Central Asia into a deadly affair. As attacks and sporadic fighting erupted in Iraq by the ISF, inspiration to act in the name of Allah came to the ancient steppe and mountain lands of Central Asia. The Fergana valley became home to a movement led by those inspired by the Ideals of the Islamic Salvation Front. Tohir Yo’Idash would grab the helm of this new operation as the Islamic Salvation Front of Central Asia {ISFCA}. The ISFCA is rumored to be massing weapons and jihadists as no attacks have been done yet in Central Asia. 100 are suspected to be in the terrorist group.

The Case Of Oustani

I officially RETCON the post making the region of Oustani officially Sudanese meaning it never happened but the doesn't mean that Sudanese troops don't occupy the region anymore. They still do. The region for the time being is still Chadian but under Sudanese occupation.

Again. Sudan is surrounded by 2 African powers who's friendliness and positive relations to Khartoum is questioned and viewed with suspicion.

Sudan will continue to find physical ad geographical features such as the Ouadi Kadja River that makes up the border between Chad and Sudan. Oustani sit east of that border and do being occupied by the military to have a stronger advantage in the case of Chadian or any other invasions from savages and no I'm not talking about Africans.

The region is still occupied as before the post and is somewhat under the administration of Sudan as in the military is under Sudanese administration and the military will do what it can to still provide and aid to refugees while protecting Sudan's borders.

SPANISH FORCES CROSS FRONTIER INTO SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST CONTROLLED AREAS AFTER PATROL AMBUSHED

NOVEMBER 2023

After a twelve strong Spanish Patrol was ambushed in the outskirts of Tinghir, leaving all but three dead, the Spanish Mechanized Forces of the 3rd Army have crossed the boundary of the Frontier zone into the respective republics established by both the Moroccan Socialists and Moroccan Communists. Already Spain had occupied most of the economic interests within the zone, however most population centers were left to the autonomous governance of these two forces. Now with the murder of nine Spanish Soldiers it was considered impossible to ignore the situation without hurting public approval at home. The Population of the Zone is relatively small in comparison to the rest of Morocco, but the existing lack of law and order within the region makes it harder to assume control in any way other than direct. As a result, it shall come under the control of a military governor who shall assume responsibility of preparing it for occupation. Hardliners within the Military have ensured that implementation of local democracy within the Frontier regions is sluggish compared to the rest of the Colony, especially given its more rural and unruly nature.

Token resistances are expected to be encountered throughout the region, as disarmament was not extended to the region upon the capitulation of Morocco at the time.

Hello, everyone!

      대조선국
      KINGDOM OF KOREA

Spring wins its first seats in the Gwangju Metropolitan Council

Having only formed in the previous month Spring has managed to win its first represenation at the secondary level of government, the party headed up by Yi Jung-hee had a successful campaign in the City of Gwangju winning just under 20% of the vote in the Metropolitan Council elections. The city does trend more to the left compared to the rest of Korea, largely following the 1980 Gwangju Uprising which killed an estimated 2000 people were killed, the trend follows for much of the South West of Korea. The party's list headed up by well known politician, Na Gyung-che, who is a former member of the Justice Party and stood twice for Governor of Gwangju.

The results of the election shouldn't be of too much concern to newly crowned King Jin, who's own brother seeks to abolish his position, a high score was expected for the party in Gwangju given the history of the city and it's general left-wing nature. The results didn't strike too much of a dent into the huge majority enjoyed by the Mirae-Transition Alliance, largely in party to the electoral system, who have run the Council and with their predecessors since its formation in 1991.

      • Transition-Mirae Alliance - 시대전환-미래당
        Leader: Kim Dong-chan
        50.3% (-17.2), Seats: 17 (-5)

      • Spring - 봄
        Leader: Na Gyung-che
        18.7% (+18.7), Seats: 6 (+6)

The results show the issue with many of the secondary government Metropolitian Councils, is the warped electoral system, which Spring has advocated for changing, and with the Governor elections due in April next year the party has a lot of time to build off these results and the relatively good national polling it is currently experiencing. It yets to be seen whether this is merely a flash in the pan protest movement or a more perminant feature and the newly christianed 'republican force' in Korean politics.

OPERATION BONFIRE DECLARED SUCCESSFUL AFTER TEMERLOH OFFENSIVE IS COMPLETED AND ISF RESISTANCE BEGINS TO CRUMBLE AFTER AIR FORCE BOMBINGS OF ENEMY TARGETS

Late this evening on November 9, 2023, the Malayan Operations Command (MOC) announced the success of Operation Bonfire and the completion of the Temerloh Offensive. Many were surprised at the speed of the success, with operations having lasted only a few months. The official report details the northern advance from Indonesian front lines along a major highway connecting Selangor and Temerloh, with ISF car bombs inflicting heavy damage on Indonesian armored units, with 6 Harimau tanks and 3 Pindad Anoa APCs being lost. Indonesian infantry advanced under Air Force cover, after the 1st Naval Air Wing bombarded ISF non-civilian enemy targets such as artillery positions and anti-tank batteries. Indonesian motorized forces sweeped through the jungle along the Temerloh outskirts, capturing almost 1,500 ISF insurgents and freeing hundreds of Malayan prisoners. The Ministry of International Aid deployed a foreign aid force of 2,500 nurses as well as 100 medical trucks to support the fleeing Malayans. As the Indonesian forward force got closer to Temerloh, Air Force bombings were scaled down to prevent civilian deaths. The 1st Army command issued an ultimatum to the ISF forces holding Temerloh, calling for an unconditional surrender which will result in no ISF or civilian deaths. The ultimatum, which was broadcasted through all means of communication in the area, was received with mixed feelings, with almost 35% of ISF insurgents surrendering to Indonesian forces, while the rest decided to take their chances and fight. The captured ISF insurgents were sent to defended prison camps in the Malayan jungle, where they will await trial for their crimes, if any. By November 3, Indonesian armored battalions began rolling into Temerloh, backed by the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Division's infantry. Urban fighting in Temerloh was minimal after almost all ISF insurgents surrendered upon hearing news of the surrender of their northern artillery battery, which provided anti-tank cover for ISF-controlled Temerloh. The 1st Army command issued an order prohibiting the abuse, murder, and otherwise non-accidental death of civilians, with all troops being ordered to spare all lives. An estimated 2,500 ISF insurgents and officers surrendered to the 4,600 Indonesian troops assaulting the city of Temerloh. On November 8, the city was declared liberated, with a provisional Malayan-led government of Temerloh being placed in command of the city. The Ministry of Defense announced the pullout of 4,200 Indonesian troops by late January, with plans to hand over control of the occupied territories to allied IPDEC militaries in the area. The 1st Amphibious Assault Squadron, which arrived along the northeastern Malayan coast on November 5, landed 84 Kopassus officers using 6 Bell 412 assault and transport helicopters. The troops are currently meeting with ISF commanders, discussing a possible ceasefire. The 12th Armored Division is standing by 12 kilometers southwest of the Kopassus officers' location, ready to strike should trouble arise.

The 12th Armored Division is standing by 12 kilometers southwest of the Kopassus officers' location, ready to strike should trouble arise.

The State of Chadian Extremist groups

The now United front of the NRA the armed wing of the People’s Government of Chad heavily funded by European powers and armed with modern weapons launched offensive after offensive against ISF and LURA leaving countless rebels dead in the wake as the modern trained and western armed NRA walked through Rebel territory with the screeches of jets above unafraid of the rebel. LURA would soon be pushed out of the cities and into the bush along the Chadian-Zairean{Alzarikstan} Border region with small garrisons of NRA stayed down to keep the LURA at bay as the rest left to the border of the AAFC. Leader of LURA, Adolphe Mesny was reported to still be on the run said to have slipped out the grasp of the NRA during the Battle of Moundou and believed to be in either the Bush of Chad, or in hiding in Zaire or Southern Sudan. The ISFC faired slightly better as their sparsely populated territory allowed them to slip away during battles leaving Government forces confused. The capital of the ISFC Faya-Largeau was taken by overwhelming NRA forces sadly with leader of The ISFC Hasan al-Wali fleeing to Iraq {Arab Federal States} another stronghold of ISF ideology. Unlike LURA who continues to try to hold territory, the ISF broke down and dispersed itself across the nation into cells and working to become a political party in the future of Chadian Democracy hiding in plain sight.

ISF CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR BOMBING OF GOVERNMENT ESCORT IN JAKARTA, WOUNDING VICE CHANCELLOR, DEFENSE MINISTER, 5 POLICE OFFICERS AND KILLING 12 CIVILIANS

As the heat of the sun bore down on the busy Jakarta streets, an unmarked white transport truck drove through a police checkpoint and halted behind a wall of people lining a police perimeter, which was guarding an empty avenue which went straight through the city center. Two masked men came out of the truck and fired AK-47 rifles on the crowd, prompting screams, running, and the firing of the police's automatic rifles, which had become standard issue. The armed men fired upon 35 civilians, killing 3, and wounding the rest. The police officers dived onto the ground and prepared to fire their weapons before the swooshing feeling of vehicles passing behind was felt by the officers: The convoy had arrived. Earlier in the day, Vice Chancellor Joko Widodo and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto met at the Defense Ministry to discuss possible fighter jet purchases, and left in a police convoy bound for the National Parliament complex on the other side of the city. 10 RAID officers and 15 Peacekeepers were assigned to the convoy, as well as 25 police officers. As the convoy drove past the scene of the shootings, one of the armed men ran back into the white truck and lurched forward, driving the truck through the barrier and ramming into the black SUV passing in front, which contained the Vice Chancellor and the Defense Minister. The armed man driving the truck dove into the back of the truck through an inside window, and detonated the explosives inside.

The explosion rocked the nearby city blocks, temporarily deafening 250 people in the vicinity. 9 civilians were killed, as well as 5 police officers. The Vice Chancellor had been thrown out of the car through the sunroof, which lay vertically after the car was pushed over. The Defense Minister lay gravely wounded in the vehicle, barely alive. Two Peacekeeper vehicles, Pindad Komodo armored personnel carriers, arrived and fired automatic 40mm rounds at the white truck, which was now a flaming inferno. Peacekeeper units stepped out, with two medics among them. Medical officers were called, as well as a RAID bomb squad. Vice Chancellor Joko Widodo is now recovering in the hospital while Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto remains in an intensive care unit, far from recovery. The Health Minister has announced that Subianto will be remaining in hospital for at least two to three months, with the Vice Chancellor for at least two months. In response to the attack, High Chancellor Anetta Komarudin appointed Puan Maharani as Acting Vice Chancellor and Ernst Jansen, now a defense consultant to the Defense Ministry, as Acting Minister of Defense. She also activated the 1st Bornean Army, as well as mobilizing the Peacekeeper Corps into an attack posture. The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) has begun operations to locate ISF terrorist nests.

        Khartoum, The Republic of Sudan
November, 2023 - Sudan Responds To The PGC

Having been given a warning by the PGC towards the Arab faction and towards the Sudanese Republic with an ultimatum for Sudan to withdraw from Oustani within 2 months or face further action.

Prime Minister Salva Kiir along with support from advisors and cabinet has inturn provided an official ultimatum to the PGC and to the supposed Chadian Government that Sudan will not give the region up unless the PGC manages to unite and stabilize all of Chad within those 2 months and provide assurance to the Sudanese Government that Chad is not a security threat to the Sudanese people. Until Chad can be proven stable, it cannot be intrusted with the only region in the country that allows easy access into the Sudan.

Until further notice the Sudanese Military had been ordered to prepare for any and all unwelcomed hostile attacks all along the Ouadi Kadja River as entrenchment and guard towers are set up along the eastern banks of the river.
