I despise the US but i’ve come to conclusion that i’d rather have the US be world hegemon than the bat eat- I mean China. >:|

Master Jil will remeber that.

Facinating, I must see these lands myself. Perhaps when possible you could be my guide perhaps?
The thing is that US capitalist hegemony has undeniably brought an era of peace for the developed world and a bit into the developing world (you know like where it isn’t getting exploited to hell)
There have been no wars between major powers in like 80 years
Most of us (like late teens early 20s) have never had to deal with large scale violence
Military service is never on our minds
We aren’t afraid of being drafted into some random war
It’s crazy to think about
So would I but realistically it’s either the US or China & I ain’t for a world dominated by people who started 2 global pandemics (SARS & Covid-19) because they have an insatiable urge to eat wild animals in unsanitary conditions, while also having concentration camps for an entire ethnic group because of their faith.
The Iran crisis was nothing but an overblown social media buzz & both govts were playing into the public sentiment with their outrageous threats.
They were never going to go to war & WWIII was nowhere near happening.
Trust me there’s been bigger threats that have brought us all closer to WWIII that we probably have no idea about loool

As local resistance poured down upon the 300 Marines having secured the beachhead, twelve Marines were pronounced killed in action by the surprise assault and as a result, multiple BRDM-1's open up with DShK fire alongside the remaining PT-76B's whom hurtle 76.2mm shells at the enemy firing positions, exploding multiple persons upon impact. Marines took cover wherever they could, mainly behind the amphibious armor, taking shots down range with AK-103 and AK-74M rifles, with support infantry chopping up the jungled ridge with suppressing fire from FN MAG light-machine guns. Other soldiers hurled frag grenades into the jungle during the fray. Before long, the seperate landing forces made their way off the beach and onto the main road leading to the Airport of Corn Island for it's ultimate seizure, meanwhile forces of the 393rd Marine Air Defense Artillery Battalion RADM José María García split manpower to scout three major parcels of land upon Big Corn Island with the objective of strategic placement of anti-aicraft SAM and mobile cruise missiles systems across the island to act as a guard array from both sea and air incursions, GLA Salamandra immediately taking advantage of the distracted Royalista Air Force in this manner.
Meanwhile off the Island, as the fresh squadron of eight MiG-29's attempts for two seperate attack runs of four to a flight, already being kept at high altitude by relentless AA fire, F-22 AB Almirante Brión and D-18 AB Castaño rushed to the defense of flagship, T-99 AB Hugo Chávez Frías, with a swarm of Aspide SAM missiles, though T-99 had already deployed a volley of 6 × Osa-M surface-to-air missiles, in tandem with the ship's AK-630 CIWS, struck down two MiG-29's and their deployed guided-missile payloads, leaving one more damaged from rapid rotory CIWS fire as the remaining one scutted out of danger, temporarily eliminating threats from her landing objective. T-72 AB La Orchila on the other hand was virtually defenseless from the incoming MiG-29's, with only the hope of evasive maneuvers to save the ship and the some 400 Marines Special Forces on board. Evading one B11 guided missile that detonated just wide of the ship as the captain moved for her to come about to avoid missile fire, however the MiG-29's opted to instead pelt T-72 AB La Orchila with their 30mm GSh-30-1 autocannons, killing dozens on board and eating clean through the ship's bridge dealing with crew within. An the aircraft fire led to a small explosion on board, leaving T-72 AB La Orchila coughing dense black smoke as the main propulsion systems steadily began to fail. Despite the damage, and the some 120 Marines and 6 crew killed on board, T-72 managed to successfully come about and attempt to limp back to Little Corn Island, a mere 8 miles away, for as long as the engine remains alive.
Next, with the GLA's closing in on 25 miles to shore, Almirante Giuseppe Cimadevilla gives the command for landing ships with amphibious vehicles are to release their drawbridges and roll off amphibious craft into the sea to become the first official landing group onto the mainland with non-amphibious craft to come afterward upon arrival of the GLA's. Adhering to this command, T-57 AB Maracaibo and T-58 AB Anzoátegui released their bridges and allowed the 40 × VN-1 and 40 × VN-16/18 amphibious APC's off the ship with 320 Marines passengers per 40 vehicles. However, this order was interrupted by multiple Scud-B soaring through the sky. As T-57 AB Maracaibo released it's total VN-1's into the sea, attempting to bring up it's bridge, she was fatefully struck by a Scud before any response could be performed, sending metal shrapnel, flames, smoke and water gushing into the air, seemingly erupting the water with such a concussive blast. T-58 AB Anzoátegui hastily made way trying to escape the unguided Scud-B flight path with increased acceleration, while simultaneously locking on with Strela-2 SAM's and firing two missiles at the closest rockets. The third rocket missing Anzoátegui completely and instead impacting aimlessly into the ocean. As the Strela-2's reached the remaining two Scud-B's, the impacts made for two back-to-back earpopping explosions in the air as metal wreckage scorch from the skies.
The remaining tri-volley of Scud-B hurtles down toward T-54 AB Pedro Camejo whom engages the missiles with an equal tandem of AK-630 CIWS and Strela-2 SAM's, dispensing of one in the air almost immediately with a blast that seemingly quaked the heavens. The second was dispensed by Osa-M provided from T-99 AB Hugo Chávez Frías, marring the clouds with yet another HE blast, while the third barreled down and missing it's intended, impacting instead with escort D-13 AB Punto Fijo, precisely into the ship's bow, dragging the vessel into the deep blue with an explosive roar. After the second wave of coastal defenses launches, GLA Tiburón Toro and Caimán Negro begin to close out the remaining 15 miles of ocean that lay between the mainland beach. As the distance gap begins to close, T-58 AB Anzoátegui, T-60 AB República de Bolívar, T-99 AB Hugo Chávez Frías, T-54 AB Pedro Camejo, T-55 AB General José Antonio Páez, and T-56 AB Barlovento unleashed a fierce hellfire of A-215 Naval Grad-M onto the Royalista mainland beachhead positions, filling the air with almost 200 Grad rockets between 30 mounted per Ropucha and Alligator-class, but 320 per Ivan Rogov-class, was sure to devastate Royalista forces in their positions. Simultaneously, T-54, T-55, T-56, and T-99 provided additional fire at the coastal defense positions with AK-176 76 mm Naval guns, lobbing shells at any Royalista infantry, or especially armor and artillery on and or around the beach.
Inching ever closer knot by knot, Almirante Cimadevilla radioed General Rafael Urdaneta Air Force Base in Maracaibo, Venezuela to send it's available Air Groups to support Marine Infantry landing forces taking and holding the beach, the flight less than an hour long from Maracaibo to the Corn Islands. As a result, Air Group 11 comprised of 24 × Su-30MK2, Air Group 13 comprised of 12 × Su-30MK2 and 6 × MiG-25 "Foxbat", and Air Group 16 comprised of 11 × General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon and 11 × MiG-27 "Flogger", lifted off from the tarmac toward the Moskito Coast, making sure to cautiously fly a fair distance from Central American shores to avoid targeting systems, if any. Reaching 10 miles from shore, the first VN-1 and VN-16/18 APC's begin to land onto the beaches of th Moskito Coast, just 5 miles northeast of Bluefields, relatively unscathed as the hailing Grad rockets deter defending Royalista forces.
