Official Statement From The Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on The Middle East
Ministério das Relações Exteriores | JUNE 2024

Following the collapse of La Plata and the dissolution of Brazil's southern neighbor, the Bolsonaro Administration has grown bolder. With Brazilian hegemony in Latin America essentially secured, Brasília can now look outward and project its ever growing military, economic, and political might. The current regions of interest for the introduction of Brazilian soft power are the Middle East and Africa. Both regions are capable of new developments which could be lucrative in the future, as most developing economies are. However, there is a downside. The recent conflicts in the Middle East and Africa have been troublesome and worrying. With the fall of the Empire of Iran, the evasion of Oman, the partitioning of Yemen, and now the war in Uganda, The Bolsonaro Administration looks to both forge relations with the Saudi Kingdom (Alzarikstan), The galla, Turkey (Abessinienreich), Sudan (Nileia) among others, while being non partial between all nations at the same time and reiterating Brazil's desire for regional peace.

As for right now, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued sweeping condemnations to both Alzarikstan and The galla for their recent invasions of sovereign states. Although not necessarily meaningful in any way, the condemnations both serve as a symbolic representation of Brazil's desire to expand its influence in the region, and also project its status as an emerging power that values an international peace and mutual cooperation between nations. It is the hope of President Jair Messias Bolsonaro that the Middle East return to some level of internal stability. Meanwhile, regardless of the current state of war between The galla and Nileia, Brazil has informed both nations that diplomatic channels will continue. However, The galla has been respectfully warned to avoid a broadening of the conflict or expanding it in any way beyond the current situation. Brazil trusts that cool heads will prevail in Addis Ababa and the war will end sooner rather than later.

On behalf of the Federative Republic of Brazil, President Jair Messias Bolsonaro invites President Emmanuel Macron of France (Metropolitan Francais) to Brasília for a summit to discuss recent events in the Middle East, South America, and an expansion of Brazilian-French ties.

| Brazilian Fleet Movements | SN10 S. Álvaro Alberto Sea Trials in The South Atlantic |
South Atlantic | 46°S 63°W

Brazilian nuclear attack submarine Álvaro Alberto continues to undergo sea trials in the Argentine sea and South Atlantic. The first of several to be constructed, the Álvaro Alberto is Brazil's first indigenous nuclear powered attack submarine and the first commissioned by a New World nation outside of the United States. With a speed of 25 knots and an armament of 6 × 533 mm (21 in) torpedo tubes, capable of launching Cruise missiles, Anti-ship missiles, Heavy torpedoes and Naval mines, the Álvaro Alberto is the pinnacle of Brazilian technology and innovation. laid down back in 2018, the 7.4 billion dollar project took 5 years to complete. However, now comes the most crucial moment. With the recent escalation of tension all around the world and the fall of La Plata, Álvaro Alberto's sea trials have been scheduled earlier than anticipated.

The Álvaro Alberto's 48 Megawatt nuclear reactor, capable of generating 64,000 horsepower is almost silent as the submarine makes its way through the ocean. The crew switched off the active reactor cooling system hours ago in order to test if natural convection from water alone can keep the reactor stable. Following several more hours of testing, the reactor's temperature has remained at a constant 275 degrees Celsius, a good sign for the Álvaro Alberto. 4 more nuclear submarines have been laid down by the Brazilian navy and are expected to be in service by 2030.

It is the hope of the Brazilian Government that continued research be prioritized towards modernizing Brazil's navy and allowing for power projection not just in the Americas, but around the world.

THE GALLAN EMPIRE PREPARES FOR CONFLICT ACROSS MULTIPLE FRONTS...

JANUARY-MAY 2024

The military coup in Uganda raised alarms all throughout the Empire, partially due to the worry over Sudanese meddling in the affair. Gallan military planners have long held that Uganda, known locally as Gandia, would fall under Imperial Occupation sooner or later. Prominent Kenyan citizens, many with seats on the Grand Council, have been especially keen on a takeover for economic reasons — as the Gallan economy is the brainchild of Kenyan data scientists, they want to test just how well this experimental economy can perform in newly annexed territories. They theorized that the integration of Gandia would've been swift, using digital resources to further spread the usability of the E-Vitissi, the Imperial currency. The ambitions of the military planners and the scientists were utterly dashed when in early 2024, a revolution broke out in Gandia. Sudanese politicians had visited the country, further confirming that the Galla's neighbor had intention to intervene.

By early April, major announcements were made Empire-wide. The breadth of the Gallan economy would be ordered to shift to a war economy, maximizing the domestic production of weapons, while new weapons were acquired from allies. During this time, a helicopter cruiser was acquired from France, as well as some Russian missiles and planes. While state organs took over private production, reserves were to be called up and trained. Sudan's military occupation of Uganda only further accelerated the rate at which The Empire had to get things done. Mekdella had hoped that she would have more time to plan, but time was not on her side. The Imperial Armed Forces were coming to reach full operational capacity. Twin operations, PHOBOS and DEIMOS were drafted, reviewed, and approved by the Imperial Military....

OPERATION PHOBOS — ON THE HEELS OF THE SAUDI INVASION OF OMAN
THE GULF OF HYDRIMIA
11 JUNE 2024 - 1:00AM LOCAL TIME

An Imperial Naval Task force, which had assembled in Somalia near Mogadishu, was now in the Gulf of Hydrimia. On their way north, they had stopped to load troops and vehicles onto multiple landing crafts, which had assembled near Berbera. The force consists of...

  • IGV Mekdella — Helicopter Cruiser, carrying 8x AdE 25 Gunships.

  • 4x Tekela Class Frigates.

  • 19x Utility Landing Craft carrying troops and vehicles.

  • 3x Atiki Missile Cruisers.

  • 4x Wayeri Destroyers.

  • 3x Buyan M-class corvettes

Their destination is Aden, Yemen. Braving the seas of Hydrimia, the task force lurched north to their destination. However, the naval force paled in comparison to the gargantuan aerial portion of the Operation. From air bases along the Erythrean Coast, all the way to the Imperial Core, hundreds of aircraft took to the skies. Flying above the task force, the Imperial Air Force, renowned for its tenacity in the Unification War 10 years prior, crosses the Bab-al-Mandeb. The force splits into two. Veering off to the north, a special detachment of elite paratroopers from the 2nd Parachute Regiment will be deployed to the Ramayah Governorate, 60 miles from Sana'a. This region is known to Gallans as Felitia.

4x AdE Tsega Large Transports, accompanied by 10x AdE Multirole Fighters, drop 1080 troops into the province in the dead of night, where they will coordinate forward reconnaissance and harassment of Houthi elements in the mountainous region. Their mission is ultimately to gauge the capabilities of the Islamic fighters, which will be used to plan for the offensive into the mountains. Although they are dropped with some handheld anti-tank and anti-plane weapons, they have no armor of their own and will have to be supported solely thru air units.

The main air force speeds off towards Aden and Al-Mukalla, which will be used as staging areas for the initial invasion.
30x AdE Tsega Large Transports will be dropping 8,100 troops in the outskirts of Aden, to be synchronized with the time of the naval landings on the beaches and ports of Aden. They are supported by a flight of 60x AdE Multirole Fighters and 30x AdE 25 Ground/Sea Attack planes. Known Yemeni Air Bases all throughout the south will be bombed during this initial run, to soften up defenses and ensure total Gallan air superiority in this crucial moment. A lone Transport will be offloaded 270 troops, tasked with neutralizing the Yemeni military at Aden Airport. The goal is to have the airport taken by noon, so a constant stream of transports can land to deploy heavy vehicles by the hundreds.

This stage of the operation relies heavily on timing, for a shock and awe factor that will stun the world. By daybreak, there are up to 10,000 troops actively deployed in Yemen, having engaged in skirmishes with Yemeni govt. forces over control of airfields. Landing crafts were going back and forth between Aden and Corrimia to offload and pick up more troops and supplies. News frantically spread that some foreign military had been spotted in Yemen. Could it be Saudi troops, conducting a dual invasion of Oman and Yemen? Speculation flew wild in the early morning as everyone scrambled to understand what was going on. Thankfully for everyone watching, The Empire had already thought of way to make everything clear for the Yemenis, and for the international community.

PORT OF ADEN, YEMEN
8:00AM LOCAL TIME

Ships had been at port for a few hours now, offloading troops, supplies, and smaller vehicles. There was a break in the monotony of war machines, though. A camera crew emerges from one of the ships now at port. After them, a little band. Finally, emerging from a little boat, it is MERI Mekdella herself! Wearing her classic white military field jacket, adorned with medals and honors, flashy white jodhpurs and knee high black boots, the band starts to play a triumphant tune. The long, luscious curls of her afro flow gently in the wind. The morning reflects vibrantly off a pair of goggles hung around her neck. Not only has the Empire confirmed its invasion of Yemen, the images of MERI Mekdella in Aden DURING the invasion are being broadcast live, worldwide. She is flanked by her Keepers, and an Astroculture High Priest. Everything about the event screams good PR. She addresses the camera crew, speaking to the world as the roar of fighter jets and distant sporadic gunfire can be heard.

    | MEKDELLA BREHEN, MERI of THE GALLA | "It has been two millennia since a Gallan stood on this peninsula in this way. We are not here to visit, there is no going back. What you see around is the start of the new order... on this peninsula, and around the world. I come here to negotiate the capitulation of the Yemeni government, and begin the war to unify Felitia, Sabia, and Hydrimaut with the Gallan Empire. We have step foot in Aden now, and soon we shall arrive at the gates of Sana'a." |

The Houthi Govt. in the north immediately declared war on the Gallans. In the south, the Empire will be getting itself situated, first by capitulating the Yemeni govt. With nowhere to go, Yemeni politicans were stuck in Aden and at the mercy of the Gallans. On that same day, through some strong-arm negotiating, the govt. fell to the sway of the Gallan Empire. Although a good start, the Empire has to negotiate with dozens of tribes in the deserts. With some locals, such as the Houthis and other Islamic groups, there is simply no negotiating. But for the first day, things are not going so bad.

That's day 1 of Operation Phobos in Yemen. Thousands of miles away, along the Galla-Uganda Border, Operation Deimos has kicked off...
(but I'll type that one up later)

First Test to Saudi Peninsular Hegemony: The New Global Hotspot Sparks in Yemen

Neom Palace, Tabuk Province, Kingdom of Alzarikstan
Red Sea

Southern Peninsular invasion by the Galla. This invasion was a shock but let alone it was an expected one. The tensions between Riyadh and Addis Ababa grew exponentially over the course of a year as this movement for Astroculture, comprising Anti-Islam and Anti-Arab sentiments, seized the sources of power in Addis Ababa. The arrival of the Gallans would be brought to the full attention of King Talal al-Saud during his stay at his Neom Palace. Sitting in an armchair beneath a marble and gold pavilion overlooking the Red Sea, King Talal seemed unbothered by this fact. Walking with some purpose, Minister of Defense & Foreign Affairs Nasser al-Khalifa al-Saud would approach the King but with respect and grace.

Minister of Defense & Foreign Affairs Nasser al-Khalifa al-Saud:

"Your Highness. I wanted to be sure to bring to your attention this invasion of Yemen by the Galla. Granted that we have succeeded in Oman, this is a direct threat to the new position we have found ourselves in the Peninsula to project our power and grow our legitimacy. We need to do something before the Galla solidifies their posi-"

King Talal al-Saud:

"Prince Nasser, yes I do know about this invasion and it is one to be expected. It was part of the Gallan posture in the region all along. You are correct that we need to do something about this to ensure that Galla is not able to solidify all of Yemen. There are approximately 3,000 Christians left in Yemen and the vast majority are Muslim Arabs. Just as in Oman, we have to stay in control of the strategic and tactical situation. The situation is this: Northern Yemen is ripe for the taking...but we have to incite the Yemeni people to operate as a buffer but also a force multiplier to push the Gallans out and away. The goal is isolation and containment."

Minister of Defense & Foreign Affairs Nasser al-Khalifa al-Saud:

"What do you propose we begin doing?"

King Talal al-Saud:

"Make contact with the Houthis and inform them that Saudi Arabia is ready and willing to provide funds and weapons to their cause. If need be, I will authorize the deployment of the National Guard covertly to bolster the Houthi positions in Northern Yemen and expand our presence to the capital Sana'a. Meet with the General of the Air Force and devise a potential plan regarding precision airstrikes on Gallan positions...we may have completed one war in Yemen but we must be ready to partake in a prolonged one in Yemen. The people are on our side. Allah is on our wide. And with both, Saudi shall surely ensure victory once more."

With a nod, Prince Nasser al-Khalifa al-Saud would give a bow and proceed back to the Neom Palace, where he would provide the orders to make contact with the Houthis in Northern Yemen while also coordinating with the General of the Air Force for the planning of a bloody nose campaign to the Gallans in Southern Yemen. Covertly, Prince Nasser would also motion for 1 S-400 battery and 1 S-300 battery to be placed in Jazan province, which borders Northern Yemen and await further orders.

In the Middle East, Japan's strategic allies are Iran and mainly Saudi Arabia, knowing that the Saudis are the main supplier of oil to Japan. With this, recently announced by the Ministry of Foreign Relation, that Japan would be interested in investing in Oman at the request of Riyadh, which would be a chance for Tokyo to strengthen relations with its ally and Arab partner. Tokyo announced a new investment value in Oman that will be ($ 15.1 Billion DOLLARS), also confirmed that automotive and technology companies are interested in establishing their headquarters and factories in Muscat, Oman, to help in the development of the automotive and technological sector.

𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝚁𝙾𝚈𝙰𝙻𝚂 — PRINCESS MAKO ASKS FOR DIVORCE FROM HER HUSBAND, THE PRINCE OF BORNEO

    Reiwa 6 ― June 9, 2024

NEW SENDAI — [...] After being married for 7 years, they even had a son, Princess Mako lost her love for her husband. It was confirmed by local police detectives in New Sendai (Old Bandar Seri Begawan), the capital of North Borneo, that Raja Pitaloka Samsar V, Mako's husband, was cheating on her with a Korean woman. The case itself was closed by the police, but was later released by a police officer and handed over to the local media and then handed over to the Japanese media. However, Princess Mako, upon hearing this case, filed for divorce, accusing her husband of adultery and failing to fulfill her responsibilities as a father and husband — Mako then officially divorced her husband when both parties signed the divorce document and, at the Court, the judge gave full custody of the child to his mother, Princess Mako. The judge also ordered the child's father to pay a pension of ($ 7,076.39 DOLLARS) — Mako returned to mainland with her son, where she would return to be part of the Japanese Imperial Family and have her title of Princess of Japan back.

𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝚁𝙾𝚈𝙰𝙻𝚂 — THE IMPERIAL HOUSE DOES NOT ALLOW A CHILD OF A JAPANESE PRINCESS WITH A PRINCE OF OTHER DYSNASTY TO BE PART OF THE JAPANESE IMPERIAL FAMILY

    Reiwa 6 ― June 17, 2024

TOKYO IMPERIAL PALACE — [...] After Princess Mako's return from North Borneo, after she divorced her husband and took full custody of the child, the Japanese Imperial House is opposed, "This is in fact against the laws of the Imperial House, the Imperial Family will not accept a child from another member of another Dynasty, only members of the Japanese Emperor's direct descendants are allowed in the Imperial Family and this includes Princess Mako being the eldest daughter of the current Crown Prince, Fumihito." Mako then publicly announced that she would send his son to North Borneo to remain in the Imperial Family, respecting the laws of the Imperial House — But there are many questions on social media and the media, "Princess Mako as a divorced woman and not to mention that she had a child [...] does she intend to remarry?" Where even many people replied "Yes, of course" — and Mako is already thinking about a new relationship, the Mr. Kei Komuro, a Japanese commoner — Komuro and Mako met in a fraternization of a study group in a restaurant, around of 12 ago. After completing a week that Mako returned from North Borneo, the two met to talk — Clearly, Mako wants to do anything to forget about her past life with her former husband, but sad that she sent her son to North Borneo.

        YOUTH EDUCATION IMPROVEMENTS

The Parliament and Sultan has passed a deal of Modernization to the Turkish Education equipment and system. While the middle east is worsening, the Sultanate is focusing on its peoples. During the COVID 19 pandemic many Turkish schools could not supply most electronic equipment for virtual students, the solution was TV broadcasting with hard paper classwork sent via mail. Depending on the grade and student, a variety of lessons such as Turkish, math, social and physical sciences, English, biology, and geography will be aired for 20 minutes each, one after the other. While the solution did work, many say it was not interactive enough. If the student needed help it had to ask its parents, and a parent or guardian could have the non ability to help, or could be too busy, etc. Turkey can use the United States of Paramerica as an role model example, where most schools could supply students with a laptop, with virtual learning software such as Virtual Classrooms that could help both teacher and group interaction. If such pandemic happens again Turkey shall be ready. New orders of Laptop has begun, the use for the the new school laptops will not only be virtual learning but for In person as well, new digitalized Education systems, these systems are scheduled to be available in almost all Turkish schools by 2028-2030. Turkish software companies are working with the Turkish government to create digital systems for the new modernization plan. Hardware technologies such as smart boards, Smart tables, Cameras, and etc are planned to be upgraded. Libraries are planned to be more disabled-friendly and the same goes with schools. The Best Turkish schools are usually are the ones who have all the specs, now all schools will get the same educational equality.

School Textbooks are to become extremely secular with no religious or racial bias. Schools in the Kurdish region will get more attention, and will be improved both with equipment and infrastructure. The Sultan requests additional help from the EU to achieve such ambitious plan to improve education in Turkey. More clubs are encouraged in schools with group interaction becoming a prominent move in education. Attention to Youth is important, they are our future.

Arab federal states

SYRIA STATE

    June, 2024

New Syrian Government Inaugurated
_____________

DAMASCUS- After the June decision of the Syrian Interim Government to join with the Arab Federal States, four important events had to occur: a popular referendum, a constitutional referendum, governmental elections, and Congressional elections. The opinion of the people would be genuinely sought on all matters for, frankly, the first time in the history of Syria.

The popular referendum on unification was to some a foregone conclusion. The Syrian military, holding total political power, had already welcomed Arab troops and government personnel into the country. Still, the AFS Constitution mandated an affirming referendum. Therefore, in early May, one was held. Election interference was an issue. Though not publicly known, Baghdad officials had to talk the Syrian military out of rigging the election because they weren't confident in its success. Still, the elections were conducted and the result was as hoped: the Syrian people voted 56.2 to 43.8 in favor of unification. On May 12th, Syria was officially declared the 4th State of the Federacy. Now came the arduous task of working with a former military dictatorship to construct a representative democracy. As a rule, the Federal government chose not to interfere in the constitutional process for Syria state, opting to simply facilitate peaceful negotiations between parties.

Much to the chagrin of the Syrian Military, they were compelled to involve other groups in the constitutional process. By the order of President Khalil, hundreds of Syrian opposition leaders and political prisoners were released from government custody and allowed to return to political life. This triggered a rift between the Baghdad government and the Syrian military, whose dream of a federally-backed hold on power was becoming unachievable. Already too far in to change course, the generals were forced to contend with the new opposition and hope to forge an amenable situation. But this didn’t mean they were without their own resources. Though al-Assad’s isolationism had been damaging to Syria, there were those who supported his Baathist ideals and backed the military’s power. This opened the door for a new party to make its foray into the Arab State’s politics: the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party. They were banned at the state level in Jordan and Iraq but there was no formal federal ban on Ba'athist parties in the AFS. Largely disgraced in the rest of the country, the rest of their supporters and players had mostly flocked to the right-wing Victory Alliance. But in Syria, the Ba’ath party was still mainstream and enjoyed a degree of legitimate public support. They also enjoyed the backing of most of the Syrian military, which gave them access to significant corruption and resources. Since al-Assad’s deposition and arrest, former Defense Minister General Ali Abdullah Ayyoub had assumed leadership of the military and Ba’ath party.

The entire rest of Syrian politics functioned as some kind of opposition to the Ba’athist government, and this showed at the state constitutional conventions. Aside from the Ba’ath party, three major groups dominated Syrian politics: the National Coalition for Syrian Revolution, the Syrian National Council, and the Kurdish Supreme Committee.

The NCSR was a broad coalition pulling from both sides of the political spectrum, mainly tied to their opposition to the Ba’athist party and government. Their leader was Moaz al-Khatib, a prominent Sunni Imam and Sheikh, with life-long ties to government opposition. He was a popular public figure in Damascus and also sat on the board of several Syrian scientific associations. A through and through intellectual and social figure, al-Khatib was seen by many as a moderate leader who could rally the country's 75% Sunni majority. Despite this, he lacked the support of Alawites and Shi’ites who formed nearly 15% of the country's population. The NCSR pledged allegiance to no single national party, and its supporters were mostly split between the Arab National Union, Victory Alliance, and the Progressive Unity Party.

The Syrian National Council encompassed an even wider spread of political ideas than the NCSR and was more ethnically and religiously inclusive. It functioned as an alternative for those who opposed the government but saw the NCSR as too Sunni Arab focused. It included some Alawites, some Kurds, and most of the Christians, Druze, and Shiites in the country. Its two main leaders were Hassan Abdul Azim and George Sabra. Sabra is a popular Christian and seen as the main political rival to al-Khatib. Some have seen unification as a death sentence for the SNC, as its many disparate factions are likely to disperse to other national parties. Sabra has exerted great effort to try and make the SNC the head of future Syrian politics, hopefully gaining and holding on to power in the nation.

The Kurdish Supreme Committee was more or less the Syrian branch of the national Kurdish Democratic Party. It espoused the same democratic views and Kurdish autonomy or nationalism. It received much monetary and political support from the Kurdish Autonomous Republic and the royally-rich Barzani family. They pledged allegiance to the KDP for the upcoming Congressional elections and intended to unify with them after the fact. The KSC Chairman is Salih Muslim Mohammed, a longtime personal associate of Nechrivan Barzani, President of the KAR.

The constitutional convention was hosted by al-Khatib himself in the Great Mosque of Damascus, which he was once Imam of. Attended by Generals, Imams, activists, intellectuals, terrorists, businessmen, and diplomats, the convention was a cross-section of Syrian society. al-Khatib and Ayyoub co-chaired the convention which produced immediate tension and conflict. Still, the disagreements of the parties were more political than governmental. In two weeks of deliberation, a new constitution would be crafted for Syria. Without the need for an actual head of state, Syria would abandon its semi-presidential republic status, and transfer to a full presidential republic. The President, called Premier to avoid confusion, would be democratically elected by popular vote. The governorates would remain as they existed under the previous government, but governors would be democratically elected rather than appointed by the Prime Minister. It would have a unicameral legislature called the General Assembly, elected every four years along with the President. it was determined that Hasakah Governorate would become a part of the Kurdish Autonomous Republic. This new constitution was put to a vote among the populace, and accepted by 78.5% majority.

Then came the more complicated step of actually electing the government. The domestic parties still existed but were becoming increasingly fractured as more and more members and politicians pledged allegiance to larger national parties. The three main candidates were: al-Khatib, who ran for the NCSR and pledged allegiance to the Arab National Union; Ayyoub, who ran in support of the Arab Socialist Ba’ath party alone; and Sabra, running under the SNC and pledging allegiance to the Progressive Unity Party. al-Khatib campaigned mostly in central and northern Syria, assuming his own inability to pull minority votes. Ayyoub campaigned in northern and central Syria, relying on the western coastal Alawites but challenging al-Khatib in cities like Aleppo and Homs.

Hosted in Amman, there was even a televised debate pulling together the three candidates in a rare showing of political dialogue. Ayyoub attended in his military uniform, which ultimately reflected poorly against al-Khatib’s allegations of human rights abuse and corruption. Sabra challenged al-Khatib with allegations that he only cared for the Sunni majority, neglecting the very real needs of Syria’s minority populations, especially Christians and Kurds. al-Khatib fired back, calling Sabra a ‘puppet on strings made of Barzani money’. It was revealed that during the constitutional convention, Sabra referred to Ayyoub as “Assad’s little bytch boy.” The debate was viewed by over ten million people across the AFS and wider Middle East

On June 17th, Syrians went to the polls. Ultimately, the Sunni Arab majority of Syria could not be overcome. Moaz al-Khatib was elected Premier of Syria with a 56.1% majority. Ayyoub won 24.6 percent. George Sabra won 18.5%. The remaining one percent went to independent candidates. al-Khatib and his running mate, prominent businessman Riad Seif, were inaugurated on July 1, 2024.

THE RESISTANCE - THE OLDEST ENEMY OF THE CORPORATIONS

JUNE 2024

Standing as the sole major resistance towards the Corporations and the Government, a very shaky coalition of all resistance and opposition groups simply coined by some as the "Resistance" whereas the Centroamerican Government uses the term "Subversives". The Resistance and the Government, along with all of the Corporate Militias have been in a form of protracted guerilla war with one another since 1912, before which the resistance forces were more disorganized. Their actions have so far not exceeded raiding corporate convoys (civilian goods and exports) along with skirmishes with Pantera Group (Military Contractor which from 1986 onwards has become the primary means of combatting the Resistance for the Government). Known members of the Resistance and their families are restricted from basically all access to basic goods, medical goods and any form of government assistance.

While from 1991 onwards Sodapan was produced and sold en masse to the public as a replacement to coca cola, however mainly due to its inclusion of synthesized L-DOPA (precurser to Dopamine) it has been used to keep people docile when they consume the product in large quantities. Due to Sodapon being further packed with addictive substances this is the case with most, just as many individuals only drink soda throughout the day in other countries. As a result of this large influx of L-DOPA every day, it was noted that individuals that had continued usage of the substance became not merely more docile but more apathetic in the goings on around them. The Resistance however had no contact with Sodapan and actively avoids it as it is a major corporate product. As a result of this, in comparison to the rest of the Centroamerican population they are extremely aggressive and easily provoked. Sodapan is for the inclusion of such intense Chemicals banned in basically all foreign Nations, as most classify it as a drug rather than as a consumable beverage. Even still Centroamerica must import most of the resources required for its production, which remains profitable and eats up a sizeable portion of any Centroamerican household budget. It is served in schools and in work canteens, and is virtually never missing from any restaurant or shopping center. It is no surprise therefore that Sodapan Incorporated is the largest beverage manufacturer in the Country.

Sodapan Factories suffer from regular intrusions by Resistance cells and squads, forcing them to be heavily defended areas with both corporate militia and military presences to keep the supply steady and safe. Since around 2003, 80% of all Resistance encounters are within a 10 mile radius of either a Sodapan Factory or Residential Facility, which has resulted in Sodapan spending quite a large amount of its profits on protection by the Pantera Group, and it even operates its own Militia complete with four AH-64 Apache Helicopters for close air support.

Historically speaking the Resistance has never achieved much success beyond its own continued survival, but that very survival alone is a testament to how resilient opposition to the Corporations are. No matter how long and how fiercely they have been trying to stamp out the movement, it has never seen much success. Ultimately the Group does suffer greatly because of their intense diversity of opinion. After all, parts of the resistance include communists, liberals, right wing groups (economically strict and regulative) and virtually any group that dislikes the nature of a corporate environment, including certain groups of the Catholic faith within the Nation. In this diverse regard it is not unlike the French underground, however in comparison they spend much less time fighting each other and more time harassing the corporate conglomerates which for over a century have held unquestioned control over the entirety of Central America.

APPROVAL FOR MATNOG-ALLEN BRIDGE GIVEN, CONSTRUCTION WILL START IN 2026!
As part of general infastructure projects to link the Philippines together, the Ayala Corporation has been contracted to begin construction on the Matnog-Allen Bridge in 2026 as part of a plan to establish an HSR connection between Manila and Davao by 2040

Matnog and Allen themselves are now rest-stops for buses making the journey via a ferry. Bus transport hubs have moved to Batangas, where the railway ends.

Designers have proposed several bridge designs and even an undersea tunnel following in the footsteps of the Channel Tunnel in Europe, but Ayala seems likely to choose a suspension brige supported with extra-strong metal alloys.

PHP 3.7 billion has been granted to the Ayala Corporation by the government for the construction of the bridge. To combat corruption in the bridge construction, the bridge building operation will be closely monitored by the Philippine government.

Details regarding the use of the bridge are still unknown since expected completion year is 2034.

Matnog and Allen
The towns of Matnog and Allen are seperated by the water, the only way to cross being a ferry. Matnog is located on the main Luzon island, while Allen is located on the island of Samar.

There is an already-existing bridge between Samar and Leyte, and after that all that remains is a new bridge between Leyte and Mindanao, which will finally grant direct land access to Davao.

Spanish Air Force continues modernization efforts with helicopter procurement deal with the United States

While many Spaniards and defense community members alike considered the Spanish military's quick modernization efforts over with the sealing of a $11.2 billion USD deal with France for new fighters and frigates for the air force and navy, their thoughts were once more disrupted with the announcement of a $500 million USD procurement deal with the United States for the purchase of 25 UH60-L Black Hawk utility multipurpose helicopters, 25 AH64-E Apache attack helicopters, and their respective armaments, weaponry, spare parts, and equipment needed to run the new helicopters. The Air Force announced the deal on June 24, surprising many journalists with the sudden procurement.

The Air Force stated that the new attack and utility helicopters would support the growing Spanish Armed Forces, following the increase of military personnel from 200,000 troops total to 700,000 troops total, as announced by Madrid earlier in the month. The new procurement will enable Spanish forces more flexibility on the battlefield, allowing them to land small squadrons of troops behind enemy lines, as well as to quickly assault enemy positions with the Apache attack helicopters without having to hold the cost of scrambling a fighter jet. It was also stated that the new helicopters will enable Spanish special forces and regular soldiers to deploy to mountainous and rural areas quickly and more safely, without having to utilize the Air Force's ageing Eurocopter fleet. The new helicopters will not be put to use during the tri-branch military exercises that will take place in early July due to time constraints, but are expected to arrive with the Air Force soon.

Although many were certainly surprised by the procurement deal, many were relieved to see the relatively small price tag compared to the massive $11.2 billion deal with the French Republic. Although it will meet resistance in the Cortes Generales, the Spanish military plans to continue her expansion into one of Europe's finest and most powerful militaries considering the country's strategic location at the western end of the Mediterranean Sea. The Spanish government thanks Washington for her continued support for European allies and hopes to work with Paramerica in the near future.

Justice Party Government Collapses After Yeo Yeong-gug Fails to Win Prime Minister Vote

Yeo Yeong-gug has lost the vote to be approved as the next Prime Minister in the National Assembly. Yeo succeeded Sim Sang-jung as Justice Party leader last week, stepping down after eight years as leader and two years as Prime Minister, however unlike Sim, Yeo has lacked the support of opposition parties in order to win a majority backing of Assembly Members. The liberal Democratic Spring abstained on the vote, which still counts against approving a new Prime Minister, leading to accusations that the party was purposely collapsing the Government for political gain. Although this argument quickly faltered after the party pointed to Justice's own actions in collapsing Kang's government after voting against her budget.

According to the constitution after a failed Prime Minister approval vote, other parties have the oppertunity to put candidates forward. No other party that could viably form a government opted to submit a candidate for Prime Minister, automatically trigger fresh elections within 60 days (18th August). According to sources within Democratic Spring they are already fairly confident of overtaking the Justice Party, and are going after the recovering Liberty Party vote, the right is now united behind one political party with the merger of the Future Korea Party and the Minsaeng Party.

Several high profile Justice Party AMs have already announced either their retirement from the Assembly or resignation from the party to run as independent candidates, who Democratic Spring announced they wouldn't run against. Opinion polls are have already indicated that voters are swinging behind Democratic Spring in order to beat the Liberty Party who's still polling in the low to mid 30s. A sixty day campaign will definitely see a lot of changes; gaffes; and mistakes, it now comes down to how well each party appeal to voters and how they can cross ideological boundaries.

It’s evaluation had continued to skyrocket on the NASDAQ, its location — a state-of-the-art campus in the heart of Silicon Valley, could be noted by the massive ‘BLUE THUMBS-UP’ that welcomed the automobiles of its staff. Although the California Governor’s mandate to ban (the sell of) fossil-fueled vehicles by 2035 was still a decade away, There had been a vocal yet unofficial mandate among its employees by the middle of the 2020s, one would be hard-pressed to find a non-electric vehicle, an E.V. — belonging to a staffer at Google, or Apple, or even here.

              . . .

On one of the floors of this expansive campus, a brightly lit corner of a vast, open way of cubicles, fingers continued to type away — At the start of the century, fueled by Silicon Valley start up funds, he had built an idea that ushered in a revolution, a revolution that in its due course, had done more to impact human society than most of the war-torn generals who’s corruption and greed drove nations into the ground. But the idea had morphed into something different, controversial even that had the power once feared by detractors of the Simulmatic Corporation.

              . . .

It had become cool — there weren’t any advertisements at the start, and its size could only be accurate described as omnipresent in its never-ending goal for worldwide adoption and domination.

              . . .

A mouse pointer moved to close a drafted email, he’d figure he could finish it tomorrow. The boyish man was already 40, as his expressionless face caught the illumination of the laptop screen. It was night, but much like all over the Valley, a gray hoodie, shorts and flip-flops was the norm. Even across Paramerica, in the offices of Goldman Sachs, plaid sports coats had replaced the once rudimentary & ordered black and navy suits — — Soon enough, the attention focused on the same thing every year, a mission statement.

              . . .

There wasn’t any question to why he was writing this, as disliked as he was, being the CEO of something that grew to both connect and alarm, His words mattered, as he opened up a Post.

Fake news had been spewed, billions targeted under a plethora of election interference that Congressional leaders had become alarmed as much as the public was. In 2016, nothing was done to curtail the flow of lies, in 2020 the flow continued, but it was to some degree, curtailed for now. |

              . . .

The nadir of trust citizens placed into their democracy hadn’t gone unnoticed at 1 Hacker Way in Menlo Park — but their business model required it, in a way, to use egregious amounts of user packed data, sold away for the purpose of modification of private mindsets.

          US (USD) to BITCOIN (BTC)

          ₿ 1.00 — $167,042.09

He had watched the currency since nearly its inception, since 2009, when his company hadn’t even been profitable yet. The virtual currency’s current position was incredibly by any regard — from well below a penny, by 2011 the coin had reached first parity with the U.S. Dollar — by 2013, the price had ran up to $250 per coin and along with its infamous volatility, it grew — and grew. By 2013 the price had reached $1,000.

              . . .

Four years later, the price had crossed $10,000 by the November of 2017, then nearly overnight doubled to $20,000 just before the dawn of 2018. Then it slid, and stagnated near and around $10K. It remained that way, until the start of the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic, and contrary to to the belief it’ll be a safeguard against the markets, against the very thing back in 2008 that led to its White Paper to be issued by the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto — its price had plunged to $3,000 as Trading Floors all over the world saw its valuations plunge by the worldwide halt of Trade & Travel. Was it merely a bubble? Would it really ever become the new currency? A new system that would somehow dethrone established monetary policy towards a more decentralized world? — — Or was it merely a way to enrich its early investors? A means to hide purchases and move untraceable currency on the World Wide Web?

But either way, after a long day of scheduled items, he probably wouldn’t be awake to see it live, and would have to catch it on his Facebook Live feed in the afternoon — A few more key strokes and the Mission Statement was live on his blog, instantly dispatched to his nearly 200 million followers, a fraction of the 2.5 million people who checked, swiped down and up, laughed, raged and pondered on his website. |

WAR TO POVERTY — THE PRIME MINISTER SUGA DECLARES WAR ON POVERTY

    Reiwa 6 ― June 25, 2024

KANTEI, TOKYO — [...] In 2018, Japan's poverty rate was 15.4%. In comparison with 2012, the poverty rate was 16.1%, which indicates that it was falling. During the Shinjiro Administration between (2017-2021), there was an increase of 4.3%, reaching 19.7% of poverty in Japan. Shinjiro made some budget cuts in the social area, to get money to finance his programs and projects, which certainly reduced government aid to the poorest, increasing poverty in Japan. These (19.7%) decreased by 2.3%, falling to (17.4%) under the Abe Administration (2021-2022) and increased again by 3.6% to (21%) under the Shijijiro Administration (2022-2023) — Clearly with Shinjiro's impeachment and cuts in the social welfare area to raise money to finance his projects and programs, he has lost popularity and confidence in the Japanese people, making the LDP the favorite popular party. Currently under the Suga Administration, Prime Minister Suga has publicly announced that he is declaring war on poverty, promising to reduce the poverty rate by 3.3% to (17.7%) with his assistance program (NBIP) by 2027.
