This piece of news regarding Trump making someone perjure themselves in his defense in front of Congress may indeed be an impeachable offense if true, but I do not believe it is in the Democrats best interest to attempt an impeachment as Pence would make a better Republican candidate in 2020 and also likely pardon Trump.

Holy Mosque of the Pious, Kabul, Kingdom of Afghanistan
1982
Ever since it’s opening in late 1980, the Holy Mosque of the Pious, so far the only mosque built and financed by the Saudi monarchy in Afghanistan, was a success. People from Kabul flocked to the mosque after prayer calls from it’s majestetic minarets to pray towards the holy city of Mecca and to hear the wisdom of the Imam. But the mosque was not just for prayer; outside of the prayer times, the mosque was used to teach the youth and others willing the word of the one true God. Teaching Arabic to the commoners and teaching using the Quran, the mosque was a busy place even early in the morning.
During the warmth of the summer, the Imam of the Mosque was keeping such a class. With the students listening to the Imam teaching them the Quran and how a true Muslim should behave, a student rises up.
“But Imam, you have taught us the ways of the Muslim, but how does God view the kafir so near us?”
The Imam listened to his student and after his question, answered “God views the kafir with mercy, but not love, as they have strayed from his path from either their own or others wrongdoings. For all have their chance of God’s protection and affection, if they only recognize their own wrongdoings of following false idols and prophets, for many don’t see that God is the only God, the God which showed himself through Jibril and who showed us His path!”
Another student, not too far from the one asking the question, rose up after the Imam said what he had to say. “But honorable Imam, what should be done with the kafir then?”
The Imam took his time to think how he could answer to his student’s question. “Conversion… or death”
The students carefully looked at eachother and quiet whispering started around the class, one that the Imam could still hear even due to his old age. He moved closer to his students and continued what he started.
“Silence! Conversion or death is the fate of all kafir. You see the Jewish swine in rightful Palestinian and muslim land, the ones that still, even to this day, continue to disgrace God by their simply by their existance and who even took their insults closer to the holy city of Mecca and taking the city of Jerusalem! By God, his armies shall be victorious. By God, the ones who still have a piece of righteousness shall come back to God and the rest shall be taken out!
To the West of your homeland lies the heretical state of Iran! Once again the same, but one that has continued for hundreds of years! But on the day when we Muslims throw away our own quarrels with our own people, they too shall be subjucated and their lands shall be a problem no longer, but be a part of the pious and the ones who submit under God!
And to the East of us all lies the latest of disgraces to God, the regime of kafirs coming from Europe, who took God’s land, who oppress God’s people and only continue to do so for centuries without action! Action that is the same for all kafirs, conversion or death, to submit oneself to the one true God or one who’s blasphemy will no longer continue!
All this will be allowed by God, all this will be done under His name and justified by Him! Takbir!”
The Imam’s students rose up, shouting “God is the greatest” together. A lession and a day not forgotten by many of them
