Roxium wrote:There's an RP post snippet burning a hole in a txt file on my desktop that I want to use...

do it...

I am wiped my dudes

gonna spill my thoughts out to all of you because I don't have anyone else to right now lol

word of advice, if you've got social anxiety or general anxiety and want to try to come out of your anxiety shell, a high school dance is not the place to try and test your limits
another thing though,
bathrooms are a good place to hide, and sometimes people don't notice you're hiding in there and spill gossip and you can drink it all in from your hiding place
and
teachers are amazing
letting you sit by them because they are worried about you even though you don't even go to that school, just an absolute amazing thing for them to do and I thank you Mrs M wherever you are right now, you made my night better when I didn't want to burden anyone

all in all I can say about 6.5/10 experience, would be 4/10 if those girls hadn't talked to me while I was sitting outside in the cold by myself because I felt like a bother to my friend and her friend group

Honestly, completely understand.

I don’t know if I’ve said this before but I have Asperger’s syndrome, which is a form of autism that also really screws up my ears, so loud noises are not my forte.
And my school decided to hold my last homecoming in the cafeteria which has HORRIBLE acoustics.
As well as this the DJs had the music as loud as possible
mix this with my usual social anxiety/paranoia and that’s why i was crying in the gym for most of the dance
Also why my girlfriend is taking another guy to the winter dance (not romantically of course)

Oof. I know the struggle of Asperger's.
I have a friend who has Asperger's and has to wear special earmuffs through most of the school day.
He lost them at some point, but I think he has them again.

Problem: The snippet in question requires some... setup before it can be used. Using it without said setup would lead to confusion and a plot hole.

Hello everyone, happy Sunday

oh yea I understand that, the dj was so loud and the lights were so bright and flashy yet it was also so dark that I thought I was either gonna have a migraine or a seizure
maybe next dance that happens I can skip and we can just hold a virtual dance here lol

I mean, in my opinion, homeschool dances are so much better
they had the music to a point where I could actually just talk normally to my friends and they could hear me, instead of screaming so loud my throat hurts
the lights were a bit dim but it was a good ambiance
they had free snacks and drinks, didn't have to hash out money so I don't pass out lol
and everyone there I kinda knew because I've been homeschooled for so long, plus I had a whole group of my friends who wanted to go with me

Bit late, but everyone here's my friend I think
But I got a few special peeps
North South North West Kansas, meu anjo, my wife. Moving in with you was the best decision ever
Aerlanica, my warrior cousin. The Mongolyn and Aerlanic may fight, but Rei Khan and Aerlanican are the closest of allies, and ik you've got my back
Bearded Dragones, our dragon queen who sneezes mysterious sparkles. Pretty much the entire reason I expanded my little political empire beyond the Cape. We'll all defend you no matter what. Long live the Dragone!
Oateria, our badger pollmaster. I hope to see more of your WA proposals on the floor. I also really would like to see you on the General Council, or whoever decides legality of SC resolutions
And finally United states of gondor. Probably my best friend. You were my running mate when I was running for the URA Director of Internal Affairs. I'm still sad to see you're gone, but I hope you're okay wherever you are
Long live the Cape!

Lol yeah I never liked the school dances very much
Music was always too loud and gave me a headache
Senior prom was fun, it was at the aquarium so me and my best friend walked around the upstairs and looked at the fish and then we were all petting the stingrays in our fancy dresses and stuff and that was pretty cool
I don’t really have social anxiety necessarily, I’m just an introvert and enjoy being by myself most of the time
But
If you wanna do a virtual dance here I am so in

It's 1:45 in the morning and I might actually be crying. Thanks mate; it's been an honor watching your empire grow
Also Khansas. Khansas gives me serotonin. Thank you both for that

Awww :3

Rei you're so sweet <3

It's been awesome to be a member of the Cape's Democratic Nations along side you and our allies. It's always a blast to RP with you, and its always splendid to have a chat every now and then. Despite us drifting apart, and not really interacting much, I hope you always know I'll be there to lend a hand if need be within the capacity I have to do so.

Keep on being awesome Rei! I can think of no better nation to represent the Cape in the URA!

Good morning everyone happy Monday, y’all really listened to my last challenge, thanks!!!

New challenge: make some new nationstates friends

My Mobile App Development teacher said he would have the next round of homework up by the weekend...

It is now the Monday after he said that and the homework's nowhere to be found. On the one hand, FREE WEEKEND HECK YEAH! On the other hand, I want my practical programming experience dammit!

I made a little jingle for The Cape!

C to the O to the G to the H

Loredump time:

As well as being the name of a fighting game, a "Bandercross Complex" is the belief that one has a higher standing in society than they actually do, and tries to prove it to an extreme amount. The etymology comes from the city of Bandercross (not to be confused with Banderviss) who in the late 1960s tried to get tourists to the city by claiming they were the most popular Oaterian destination. This created a widespread joke that Crossers were very egotistical people, and while the stereotype has mainly gone away the term has remained, at least within the Senatorial Badger Republic.

Though in all honesty it goes both ways, I don’t think we’d be where we are either individually or together without this community behind us, you guys have made both of us who we are <3 *Throws pie*

Aerlanica wrote:

Viss, Cross, and a smaller town (one of only a couple not on the map, Oateria's population is very, VERY densely packed) called "Banderjade" (pronounced Bander-HAHD). All three of them are close to each other and are the highest concentration of Bander ethnics.

Also, I have no idea where I am but I'm happy here <3

Happy Tuesday! I just learned that everything I had previously experienced was in fact a simulation of reality, but I had been living in real time as well! It's pretty complicated, just look it up on the fan wiki.

Here's a link to the page that explains it, that also happens to be this week's poll: page=poll/p=196162

Happy Tuesday, we in for a Ice-Snowday :)

Happy Wednesday! Also a quick little loredump:

A tribbit is a creature native to Oateria, specifically in the bogs and swamps notable in the Tadpen and Bandervi regions. Its appearance is similar to that of a rabbit but colored teal, with long, drooping ears and a long tail similar to that of a cat as well as larger layers of fur. It is about the size of a young golden retriever, and is a herbivore. Scientists believe the tribbit evolved from a rabbit which adapted to Oateria's harsh winters.
