A thought I just had:

If a list of Augusta's biggest cities were to be made, there's a very good chance that a decent chunk of said list would be taken up by Roxium cities like Ga-Zulu, Daikyo, Tiyang-Po, and New Ko-Lhou, all of which can be considered megacities due to a combination of size and population.

Since I consider Gondor to be a fairly advanced country; with relative internal stability over a few centuries (despite my neighbors; which the more I think about it… the continent im on is very similar to the Middle East in regards to overall stability; Rei, Aeri, Tyramon, and New Drachma all like to fight… leaving Me, Al Montica, and Oateria…

Honestly, we’re too busy fighting war with ourselves (unless we’re being invaded, shoutout to Rei Khan) to really even get into war with a lot of countries.

Depending on if you count Feltov and Tashis as one city (Feltovians do but Tashians don’t, very long and complicated story), it’d probably be on there. But even without that, Wenbale could crack the top 25, with Raziel, Mikksembri, Yune and potentially Ketslar making the top 100.

Making a Request

Eligibility requirements for making a claim:

Have a population of at least TWENTY million (20,000,000)
Be currently and have been in the Cape of Good Hope for at least SEVEN (7) days
Be applying with your MAIN (non-puppet) GH nation
Not already have a claim

Terms and disclosures:

The mapmaker has the final say in map design, though the mapmaker will try to accommodate requests as possible. However, nothing is guaranteed.
Your claim or request may not be grantable, whether due to the nature of the request, conflict with another request, or another reason.
If you leave the Cape of Good Hope or your nation ceases to exist, you may lose your claim. Returning may not grant your claim back to you.
Terms, rules, requirements, etc. may change at any time, and changes may be retroactive.
You agree to and promise to follow all terms, rules, requirements, etc. for as long as you have a place on the map. If you no longer intend to follow the rules, your claim will be denied or revoked.
Inappropriate, offensive, or overly disruptive claims and requests will not be granted.
All or part of your request will usually be made public and shown in the Requests Log below.
All questions regarding the map, map logistics, and related policies should be directed to the mapmaker, Tyramon. The mapmaker may then direct you or your question to a more appropriate person or office if necessary.
Nations with a granted claim on the map may copy the section of the map allotted to them for use in a dispatch. This privilege is nontransferable and is revoked if your map claim is denied or removed/revoked. Such copies may be altered in style and/or to show greater intranational detail.

How to make a claim:
IMPORTANT: Before making a request, ensure that you meet the requirements above. By making a claim or request, you also acknowledge and agree to the above terms.
Send a telegram to Tyramon containing the name you wish to be displayed on the map, the color you want for the name and for the background of your nation, and a description of where you want your nation to be located, optionally including which nations you wish to border. You may make a request for minor map modifications, granted at the discretion of the mapmaker.

Regarding the displayed name, it is recommended to keep this short, or else the font may be quite small to make it fit. If your name consists of several words, consider using an acronym.

NOTE: A rough sketch is recommended. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, but it does help in giving me an idea of what you want.

When making a request, take the following into consideration:

Excessively large claims and excessively complex requests will not be granted. Generally, make sure that your claim request is AT MOST no larger than any currently shown nation's territory. Smaller is better, as it will increase the lifespan of the map as more and more nations are added, allowing more people to participate in the future. Exceptions may be granted under exceptional circumstances, but don't count on it. Also note that, in general, the map scale is considered to be such that the planet is much larger than Earth. However, the canon size of your nation is ultimately your choice and exclusively your choice, regardless of how it is displayed on the map.
Excessively small claims will not be granted, or may be modified as necessary. This is more of an issue of clarity and legibility. If your claim would be too difficult to see or would cause excessive issues in regards to showing your nation's name, your request may be denied. Note, however, that islands, especially those far from the mainland and other islands, generally do not have this issue. Unlike excessively large claims, this is very case-specific, and the smallest allowed size will generally depend on location.
If no nation display name is given in the request, the mapmaker will choose what name to display.
If no colors are given in the request, the mapmaker may choose the colors. If one color is given, this will generally be the background color, and the mapmaker will choose the text color (usually white, gray, or black).
Map modification requests may be denied or may delay completion, depending on the nature of the request. Redrawing land borders and coastlines takes time. Adding a small island or internal lake is faster. The more specific and the larger the request, generally the longer it will take to complete and the more likely it is to be denied. As a rule of thumb, if you can easily describe the change using words, it is probably not too problematic, and hopefully won't take too long. But, if you have to send me a picture to communicate it, it is likely too much/too specific. Tracing maps is incredibly difficult and time-consuming due to the map modification pipeline occurring behind the scenes, and it is infeasible in many cases, particularly if your nation is near other nations. Such requests may therefore be denied or put on hold indefinitely.
If your request would significantly affect another nation or nations, you must get that nation or nations to approve of the request before I will even consider it. This includes changes to shared borders as well as changes close to their borders in some cases.

This map is intended primarily for use in roleplay for nations who feel that the other map does not accurately represent their nation.

Dude, you can't just claim Monsone's land without their permission. If I remember correctly, that is Monsone's major industrial center. In addition, part of Bearded Dragones' request was to maintain their border with Roxium and Monsone.

North South North West Kansas and Super Duper Nice People if you have a "nickname" or acronym you would prefer over what was on the original map, I can make your nation name a bit bigger. Also both of you used yellow name text, so I don't know if one of you would want to pick a different color due to the proximity.

There’s two bigger cities in Kansas, Topanga being the most populated and the economic center of the country, and then SKO BUFFS! as the capital city. Beyond that all of my cities are pretty small, probably Waffle Valley and Colorado City being the other two major cities. Though even Topanga would be small in comparison to even the smaller cities in something like Roxium or Gondor.

Well, in the map progress update I referred to it as the "Aerlanican subcontinent" but I'm open to suggestions. I just called it that because Aerlanica is the biggest nation there.

Also, United states of gondor and Aerlanica, I could make Aerlanica a lighter blue (like what Monsone has) and then make Gondor a dark blue, or something like that.
