New Prime Minister and approved budget.
The Federal Public Budget has been passed by the Assembleia do Sudoeste. The 2023 Legislative Elections took place with the Progressive Party winning 215 of the 450 seats in Parliament.
Kaio Alves became Speaker of Parliament and Kaio Afonso became Prime Minister of the Sudoeste.
Kaio Afonso was born in 1996 and at the age of 16 became the first teenage millionaire in the Sudoeste, in 2021 he ran to become President of the Republic but was unsuccessful. The following year, in 2022, he ran for federal deputy and was elected.
