Cermiersia wrote:Although she generally knew and researched how to get into the country well on the way, their was a significant problem. Her language was old cermierian, an untranslated language which was not available on foreign automatic translators due to the language security of caesian states. As a result absolutely nothing she said could be even remotely understood by the guard. She tried to say she was fine and that she didn't need any medical treatment at the moment regardless of if it was cheap and she was definitely not going to switch out of her aristocratic clothing for a poor man's cloth, even if bloodied. The only people who could understand her was another old cermierian, which meant having two of 9 million people which was a lot less than most populations of which quite a few could be illiterate or Monolingual. Of course she like many other reactionaries believed that MoA was founded by a groups of skilled craftsman (not peasants because the lower class can't found complex civilizations of course) from around the world. So there must have been an old cermierian somewhere as they were pretty skilled. Right? Right? Her cermiersian on the other hand was poor and she disliked using the language, even if it was more likely to be understood. All being said and done this all devolved into a situation were she could communicate very little to the security officer at all.

Which meant that the security officer really could only default to their basic thoughts and feelings about the situation, as Arsonen's words, indeed, weren't understood at all by the security guard... with such a simple breakdown of linguistics and the confusion that it brings, the officer took to doing the only thing that would make any sense in such a situation to them. They made an attempt to lead Arsonen away, though they tried to make an attempt to communicate that they were going to bring her somewhere away from the security checkpoint so things could be worked out. Though the guard was now unsure if she understood a word that they were saying.

This other area was clearly a small security office, it wasn't hard to tell based on the collection of officers around the door that led into it. The explanation the officer gave left little to be known to her, though the officer was speaking in a tone and with language that suggested it wasn't going to be harmful or dangerous, though there was no proof to that either.
As far as she's really properly aware, they're taking her to a security office, possibly to be questioned... and if she can't answer questions, that is where things might take a turn for the worse.
