I became a Christian when I read Mark. Mark 12:29-31 is what made me commit my life to Christ. I thought, the Church makes it so complicated but really Jesus’s message is for us to live God and our neighbour as ourself. What I love now is that is ancient wisdom that Jesus is reiterating - God has loved us from the start and has given a calling to all his people.

Also, it’s the shortest and earliest gospel that emphasises Jesus’ humanity showing that we can come close to his example and bring God’s Kingdom closer!!!
