It didn't take long for the lines of the People's Guerrilla Army to falter to the torrent of Blayredeshian military power. Before they knew it, the westerners were approaching the North and quickly. Before the Blayredeshians could reach them, Kang Hyeong-Suk ordered the valuable armored units who had been chipping away at the Busan Perimiter to fall back to the Demilitarized Zone to take advantage of the fortifications that remained. Knowing full well they'd be slaughtered, the guerrillas that left would be tasked with forming organized and unorganized resistance, with skirmishes definitely buying the People's Army valuable time to re-organize and re-conscript. Even in impossible situations, the acts of pure martyrdom shook the west to its core as everyone from Northern schoolchildren to Southern women gave their lives to sabotage the enemy, flags strapped to their back and shouting 'manse' pledges and cheers all the way.

In the homefront, organized riots would be staged by the PGA in an attempt to lure the rear guards of Woleve Atraland into genocidal slaughters of moderate southern citizens who were simply anti-war. At this point, even despite two consecutive retreats, public support was still solidly in the North's hands. Southern factory workers organized a different kind of labor strike, in which resources would be smuggled to the North through neutral territory a la Ho Chi Minh trail.

To meet the horrid armies of General Hill, Kang Hyeong-Suk would arrange her most elite units to form a million-strong defensive line stretching from the Southern Capital to the DMZ, all supported by tens of thousands of well-armed PGA supporters. While the Blayredeshians initially gained air superiority, the unusual presence of modern anti-air guns and the releasure of modern jets that were obviously not of North Hyechonese manufacturing in the midst of swarms of more obsolete SAM sites and MiG's would attempt to overwhelm the air force right back- if not, then to inflict as many casualties as possible to stave off the economic consequences of bombing.

Meanwhile, civilian militias in the North would form an army of their own, the People's Home Preservation Army (PHPA), which would be better-armed than the PGA but still not as skilled as the regular HPA which would serve as the last line of defense should the mighty "Reunification Line" break.

As for the Werewolf Islands and their Blayredeshian counterparts, their fleet would face turgid resistance in the form of dense mines, coastal and island artillery battering them, the fleets of reserve planes dropping anti-ship missiles, land-based anti-ship systems, and the actual proper Hyechonan People's Navy, which while consisting mostly of coastal defense craft and small escorts/frigates, would be armed to the teeth to repel the larger ships with support from both land and sea. Assets of the HPA and PHPA would be made to form proper coastal defenses even despite the bombing, working to the bone to properly entrench themselves.

As for the offer from Icewindia, the North would firmly deny. This was a war of attrition that the North appeared to be winning. It had sustained gruesome losses itself, but those losses were less expensive and easier to replace then the modern might of the allies. They had reduced the Republic of Hyechon Army (South hyechon) to a glorified police force, and they had popular support. Kang was banking on a PR nightmare for the nation.

To take advantage of the sinking morale, a sly campaign of radio propaganda would be introduced in an attempt to guarantee defectors to the North, assuring them of the surviving and thriving Icewindian Soviet, the self-reliant and happy nature of the country, and a nation which truly considered the soldiers family- if only they would just leave their posts. Other broadcasts would subtly attempt to incentivize fragging.

As for the naval front, the Icewindians saw the People's Navy pull back for the first time in a while, going northward to support the third of the country still under Northern occupation as part of the Reunification Line, hoping the naval presence was dense enough to thwart any relief of the southern capital. The islanders, having been resupplied, would fight to the death. While the southernmost islands were guaranteed to the south, it would be a bloody endeavour to liberate them once more.

Current Forces:

HPA: 1,900,000
PHPA: 659,360
PGA: 1,315,000

RP: The Meeting. (Secret)
The meeting turned out to be... meh really. Catherine would flee to East giving Romanov Regency. Where she was given all 5 Minutes to explain herself to Wolfen 1st and Napoleon before she was arrested. How Could Romanov Possibly mess this up?

Yet Kah'rokta watches from afar waiting to see if his plan works or not.

RP: The Return of the Marshall.

Marshall Hemlock and quickly approaches Centertown and when Garrison was told by Romanov to Fire upon Wolfinite Marshall. They and Milita refused Joining him. Force after Force joined him until he called forth "The Greens" to rally and soon an Army of 800,000 Marched to Occupied Gerjano where Hemlock demanded the Blayredeshians return to there lands and Hand Catherine over.

RP: The Provisional Union Army.

Meanwhile in the East the Provisional Union has been arming up there own Army. The Factories are churning out equipment and supplies. An Red Army of 500,000 is soon ready to March. With more being trained up as Napoleon-Wolfen Pact wait to see what there Father does in West.

RP: Peace with Honor?

With Return of Marshall Hemlock he takes command back of Army and Navy.

He offers an Negotiated Peace to North hyechon. In Good Favor to People of Hycheon Marshall Hemlock promises Unification of Hycheon to Kang Hyeong-Suk if they accept the negotiated Peace as Marshall does not want an North-South Divide. If North Refuses this Peace Negotiation then he will be ready to use any means necessary to contain Communism. As for South the Republic of Hyechon Army is being disarmed and converted into a Militarized Police Force tailored to Anti-Guerilla activity. With its Former Leadership being hunted down for War Crimes. With Hemlock giving Direct Order to kill Moon for being "A Failure to the People and to the South." However instead of taking complete Control of South he instead hosts an Election for a Proper Southern Government only taking title of Provisional Leader. Communists are allowed to run along with whoever parties wish to run so long as they dont have not Committed Treason. Wallace while dead his Promise of a Republic in the South is now about to occur.

RP: Engagement
While the influx of modern fighters would initially inflict sizable casualties; the veteran fighters who had been prepared for the possibility of foreign aid flooding into North hyechon; would soon adapt to the new conditions and have reportedly stabilized their casualty rates, and have continued their drive to control the northern skies while their bombers attempt to unload firebombs on any towns, farms, or vulnerable infastructure below, and other contingents of bombers risk a possible higher casualty rate to target the supply lines and actual equipment and troops of the North Hyechon soldiers below. Meanwhile, hoping to gain an advantage to disuade Hemlock from pursuing peace with the Hyechonese; General Hill’s Army along with its Icewindian allies has begun to engage the North hyechon army by forming his Army into a defensive position and bombarding the Noth Hyechonese with a tidal wave of artillery shells and rockets from rocket trucks as he hopes to bait the North Hyechon Army into coming to him. Meanwhile out on the east coast, Grand Admiral Horn’s fleet has sustained sizable casualties with 2 warships reportedly being sunk and another 6 being heavily damaged, currently the Grand Admiral Horn has directed his total force of 450 multirole fighters to target the North Hyechon Easy Coast as he waits for the Werewolf Islands next move.

RP: Buying a way Out (Secret to all except [nation]schwypia.[/nation])
Given Icewindia’s recent peace efforts, General Hill and the High Command have become unsure of the Icewindian commitment to the War and even expressed fears that they believe that should the North Hyechonese refuse Hemlock’s peace offer and push on with the War then Hemlock will withdraw his forces from North Hyechon regardless. In order to have a withdrawal option the Blayredeshian Ministry of War has reached out to the Schwypian government and has requested permission to possibly march General Hill’s entire army into northern Schwypia in order to use airfields to withdraw the Blayredeshian Army back to Blayredeshia. The effort would not be short and as such the War Ministry has offered to cover the operating fees of the airfields in addition to other payments to the Schwypians for them granting military access to their lands for the hypothetical withdrawal.

RP: Defensive Stance
With Catherine’s disappearance from radio contact and Hemlock’s arrival coinciding with each other; the Emperor’s rebuttal to Hemlock was on of accusal as he stated that Catherine had already headed east and was probably captured by Hemlock’s forces; because of this the Emperor has demanded Hemlock release both Catherine and the contents of Wallace’s Will. In the meantime, the 5th Army which numbers around 300,000 infantry, 500 tanks, 70 rocket trucks, and 80 artillery pieces and is largely made up of hardened veterans from Gatisland’s Civil War under the command of the experienced General Andreas Karloff has taken up a defensive position in front of the city as word is the combined 2nd and 3rd Armies under the command of Lieutenant General Rudolf Breit which number a total of 476,000 Infantry, 400 tanks, 50 rocket trucks, and 68 Artillery pieces, has begun moving east with the intent of crossing the border and joining up with the Emperor. Meanwhile a force of 235 fighter jets and 128 bombers are being mustered at Fort Suid in preparation for taking off in a possible conflict. It is estimated that both armies and the airforce will require three weeks and one week respectively to be ready as the 2nd Army is stationed in western Blayredeshia and most bombers are in the central-south-west at Fort Bonnet. The Emperor has also reportedly issued a decree to the Sovereign of Woleve Atraland requesting additional troops.

Conglagateia wrote:RP: Abyss
The elections to the Rada and Senate have finished. The results have satisfied noone. While ZiS had achieved much when it pandered to the poor and downtrodden, they were only able to achieve a slight majority in the Rada. But the Federaly had an ace up their sleeves.
After a long, gruelling, and simply painful negotiation progress, The Federaly and the three largest leftist parties announced a coalition, therefore allowing them to form majority government under the Conglagateian Iron Front. ZiS officials were not happy, claiming that the Federaly and their "communist lackeys" were turning Conglagateia into a one party state. I mean sure, they also wanted to make Conglagateia a one party state, but not this kind!
While ZiS nearly took the dispute to the courts, they had to back down. It was now obvious they stood no chance, even when burning down their own headquarters for sympathy. They had to move to a bolder plan.

After some discussion between the internationalist parts of the party, they have decided the only real way to gain power is to take it, forcefully. For that, they needed bribe money, mostly to get the military on their side. To achieve this, they have requested a large sum of money from their Blayredeshian allies.
Meanwhile, demagogues have continued firing up the angry urban poor in cities like Ulvangatar, using their poor political awareness to essentially dupe them into supporting a party that will only disenfranchise them further. The plan is to quickly behead the government in Ulvangatar before enveloping any loyalist forces across the country and forcing a surrender. If they were to wait too long, Conglagateian intelligence or their allies would quickly realize something is amiss.

RP: Preparations (Secret to all except tje ZiS)
With the CIS encouraging the ZiS to act as quickly as possible; 1.5 million Tengerina Marks (the new currency in circulation in Blayredeshia and Woleve Atraland backed by the gold standard) have been forwarded to the ZiS while the CIS has begun organizing militias of Cross of Fire Paramilitaries to be prepared to be airdropped into Conglagateia to help the ZiS once their coup is underway. The Cross of Fire are a zealous and far-right Christian militia in Blayredeshia with its roots dating back to the Nationalist-Accord War comprised mostly of veterans, zealots, and foreign and domestic mercenaries.

RP: Far South Diplomacy
After returning from The Ansalonian States, Deputy-Minister Ribbentrop would coordinate with the Ministry of State and the Ministry of Trade to begin establishing the agreed upon trade deals with the Ansalonians as well as setting up contracting deals with construction companies for both the Ansalonians to construct an embassy in Salis, Blayredeshia, and for Blayredeshia to construct an embassy in Ansalonia.

RP: Purifying Democracy (secret to all)
Meanwhile, the CIS has dispatched a team of agents led by Colonel Washington Isaacs to establish a base in The Ansalonian States in preparation for the assassination of high profile leftist politicians while the CIS prepares a small battalion of Cross of Fire militants to act as death squads and target leftist dissidents within Ansalonia as well as possibly begin attempting to convert the populace to Christianity.
