RP: A Nation in Mourning
Blayredeshia has been shaken with bad news. At 7:00pm on October 27th, 2145; His Imperial Majesty Blayre IV, By the Grace of God and Will of the People, Emperor of the Confederacy of Blayredeshia passed away in his sleep after what has been revealed to have been a long and hard battle with lung cancer. Crowds have gathered in almost every major town and city across the Confederacy to hold vigils and mourn the loss of the man once affectionately known as the “Playboy Prince”. From a troubled youth growing up during the roughest years of the Nationalist-Accord War to the Bell Putsch after the death of his father; the man born as Prince Wilhelm von Krieg endured many hardships after his father’s passing which allowed for a military dictatorship to seize the country and marry off his older sister to an abusive husband and secretly kill his mother all while he was 12. After years in the high society as a playboy; the then Prince Wilhelm discovered that his mother had truly been killed by the dictatorship specifically under the orders of Grand Admiral Armand de la Croix. With this revelation the Playboy Prince overthrew the Croix Dictatorship and restored democracy to the Confederacy with himself as Emperor and took on the name Blayre to emulate his father and great-great grandfather Emperor Blayre III and Blayre I respectively. Although said democracy would become authoritarian under the leadership of the IFP; Emperor Blayre IV would lead the Confederacy into an age of renewed patriotism for the Nationalist League and its interventions. The funeral has been set to be held within the next few days and will carry on for around 2 weeks so that all Blayredeshians who wish to may make a pilgrimage to pay their respects before he is buried as the Krieg Crypt in Rey, Rhoderia Province, Blayredeshia. The Imperial Ministry of State has announced that all foreign diplomats and heads of state who wish to come and pay their respects may do so.

Funeral Proceedings

Upon hearing of the death of Emperor Blayre IV, the Royal Family of Schwypia again sends their condolences. As a token of good faith, High Prince Levi will be dispatched to Blayredeshia to meet with the Royal Family, as his wife, Queen Boran, is unavailable due to raising her infant son.
