Also, Cuba still exists, a country the US has actively been hostile to since at least the Cuban missile crisis in 1962 and has permanently camped on their island in Guantanamo Bay where they have committed several questionable acts, which is only one of about 800 US bases within foreign borders. Glad you paid attention in geography class, but if you had really paid attention you’d know the Russians actually had Alaska and had settlements down into California. But I’m sure you missed that part. Lucky for us, if they want a bit of us, they have to go through Canada, and we’ll just tell the Maple leaf team it’s a qualifier round for the Stanley cup and they’ll beat them down. Nothing meaner then a Canuck with a hockey stick. Of course, seems the big bad Russians have more an eye for European land deals, hope you’re practicing your foreign languages.

Can’t argue we have a base on Cuba, but it’s not like they couldn’t end the lease we operate under and ask us to leave. Of course they’d kill the lucrative black market operation between the base and the island, so I rather doubt that’ll happen. And you have some issue about bases? We have pulled out of places before, ask Panama how they like their canal.
