EN APPOARCH TO RIYHAD — MORNING
STATE DEPARTMENT C-46 AIRCRAFT

| The C-46s were defintantly larger than the aged C-32, modified Boeing 757s to the modified Boeing 767s fleet now in service to transport the Vice President, Secretary of State and at times, other members of the Cabinet — otherwise known as the C-46s — — Enroute from a late night departure timeframe from Joint Andrews A.F.B., Secretary of State ANTONY BLINKEN got enough rest. There weren’t any bedding accommodations on the C-46s like there were on the larger VC-25s, modified Boeing 747s otherwise known as Air Force One, but the seating was comfortable enough. Half conference room, half standard business class seating. |

| As BLINKEN walked across the aircraft’s main hallway corridor with a cup of coffee in hand, NED PRICE, Spokesperson to the State Department soon caught up with him. |

    | NED PRICE, State Spokesman | “Secretary.”

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “Ned, you caught me naked.”

    | NED PRICE, State Spokesman | “I’m sorry, sir?—”

| BLINKEN wasn’t, but he didn’t have a suit coat on, just a slacks, a blue collared shirt and tie. |

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “—Don’t have a coat on.”

| PRICE got the joke, but laughed half-nervously anyway as he kept his pace up with BLINKEN. |

    | NED PRICE, State Spokesman | “I wanted to talk to you—

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “—Before I had coffee, but go on.”

    | NED PRICE, State Spokesman | “Right, well Mr. Secretary, there’s a reporter—”

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “Always a reporter.”

    | NED PRICE, State Spokesman | “Yeah haha, well they intend to draft this trip as nothing more than other exercises of quote ‘Paramerica’s oil ambitions’ and—”

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “—That’ll be a method House Republicans will use to discredit the President’s green energy agenda . . . Didn’t they get the memo from that Tokyo [climate change] Summit back in March?”

    | NED PRICE, State Spokesman | “Apparently not, but nevertheless the Saudis weren’t too keen on green policy to begin with and—”

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “—Why are you telling me this? Let them write their piece, doesn’t make much of a difference nor does it—”

| PRICE stops walking alongside, causing BLINKEN to halt too and look. |

    | NED PRICE, State Spokesman | “They’re on board, Mr. Secretary.”

PRESS CORE SEATING, EN ROUTE

| The PRESS CORE sudden stands, as BLINKEN walks in, who waves them down with a smirk. |

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “Keep your seats, please keep your seats. I can assure you, I’m not Joe [Biden].”

| BLINKEN makes his way to towards a row back reporter, who was focused typing away on her laptop. PRICE follows soon behind, addressing a few reporters’ questions of the Peninsula itinerary. |

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “You’re Ms. Adams, right?”

| ADAMS looks up, a reporter from the LA TIMES, she’s in her mid-30s. |

    | JULIANA ADAMS, Press Core | “Yes, that’s correct. Juliana Adams, La Times.”

| BLINKEN smiles a bit, still standing, leaning his elbow on the seat in front of ADAMS’. |

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “I’ve read your work before Ms. Adams. Quite intriguing for well, the LA Times. Orange County Republicans aren’t suppose to make it far in the Times.”

    | JULIANA ADAMS, Press Core | “Not all of us there are born with a desire to be an Ermanist Girl Scout there, Mr. Secretary . . . On or off the record?”

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “On or off, either way is fine. Since you’re here, I wanted to ask you something . . . Mr. Price tells me here that you intend to paint this trip as a display of—?”

    | JULIANA ADAMS, Press Core | “President Biden’s hypocrisy.”

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “You said that, not me, and why’s that?”

| ADAMS gets more comfortable, almost like a challenge. Being a conservative reporter for a liberal newspaper probably didn’t need to say more. |

    | JULIANA ADAMS, Press Core | “I think, if the President wants to support climate change summits and push the Paramerican people to continuously buy electric vehicles at the expense of gas stations, of whom, some people’s income depends upon, the least we could do is no longer engage in countries who’s income comes from the sale of the very thing the President is looking to do away with.”

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “So you’re in favor of more E.V.s?”

    | JULIANA ADAMS, Press Core | “That’s besides the point Mr. Secretary, I’m not in favor of hypocrisy.”

| BLINKEN took that in for a moment, as other PRESS CORE members started to notice the exchange. |

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “. . . I like how you say that, I like how you wrote an editorial in the Times that explained why a border wall somehow was more humanitarian . . . I like how you appeared on OAN and did very much the same thing, and even more so, denouncing immigrant children because whom they were, and now you speak of—”

    | JULIANA ADAMS, Press Core | “Mr. Secretary—”

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “But I won’t go into that any further, as for your intended assault over ‘hypocrisy’, to some degree yes, we do require trade with our Arab partners, and to some degree yes, it has to do with oil . . . You try comparing Saudi oil to oil drilling in the middle of the Pacific and there only won’t be enough, the quality won’t even replace the quantity.”

| ADAMS just listens. |

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “Over half a century ago, and nearly a century, much to your displeasure another Democrat, that great F.D.R. reached out to the Arab peoples . . . Subsequent geologic analyses showed the entire focus of world oil production and supply was shifting to the Persian Gulf. It was there, it’s in everything we need today practically . . . and while yes, automobiles only make 15% of world emissions, that 15% still matters a lot. But that was only half the story.

| A Moment. |

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “It was also a personal mission. FDR was also seeking to persuade King Abdul Aziz to accept 10,000 Jews in the British mandate. Stalin’s forced had just liberated Auschwitz . . . Roosevelt was unable to convince His Majesty, he instead, proposed that the Germans ought to give up some territory instead.”

    | NED PRICE, State Spokesman | “Mr. Secretary, we’re enroute to land within half an hour.”

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “Both the King and FDR, roughly the same age, with grave responsibilities, had to some degree physical infirmities that stricken them. The President, in a wheelchair, His Majesty walked with much pain due to wounds occurred from battles of his youth uniting the peninsula.”

| BLINKEN turns and nods to PRICE, before finishing up his point. |

    | ANTONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State | “FDR gifted the King his wheelchair, it wasn’t Just Chevron & Texaco, Ms. Adams.”

| BLINKEN finally smiles a bit before turning back, greeting a few of the PRESS CORE members before preparing for landing. |

DAWN OF A RENEWED US-SAUDI STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

The arrival of Secretary of State Blinken to Riyadh was a rather usual occurrence when the time came for renewal of negotiations for the historical Saudi-US strategic partnership. However, things would be different now with the increased tensions in the Red Sea between Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the Galla. Since the rise of Talal al-Saud, the Saudi Armed Forces has expanded aggressively to become the most lethal, modern, and effective military force in the Middle East. Not only the custodian of the two holy cities, King Talal al-Saud is managing to assert himself as the proper leader of the Arab world. The meeting between Talal al-Saud and Secretary Blinken comes at an opportune moment with the recent policies that is pivoting Saudi Arabia back into activity within the international world. With tensions seemingly rising to their new height, Talal al-Saud is looking forward to this meeting more than ever.

As the C-46 came to a halt, the welcoming ceremony would commence as the King along with prominent members of the Saudi Family would await the completion of the Guard inspection and red carpet walk of Secretary Blinken. With a firm smile on his face while wearing his traditional thawb and keffiyeh, Talal al-Saud would extend his hand toward Secretary Blinken as members of the Royal Regiment Guard Corps stood at attention.

l King Talal al-Saud l:

"Secretary Blinken. It is truly gracious to meet with you this morning and I am thankful that you have come to Riyadh, especially during some troubling times here in the Peninsula. The Saudi people have been continuously grateful for the commitment that United States has demonstrated since the 1930s and with that, I am further confident that what we agree upon today will continue to uphold the principles of our relationship. It is essential that Washington DC and Riyadh remain on the same page, focused, and optimistic about the fruitful and prosperous future that will entail from our negotiations today."

    May, 2024

Chairman Nuzari Announces Closure Of Mesuvia Branch Of The Arab Guard
__________

BAGHDAD- In a public address from his headquarters, Arab Guard Chairman Harun Nuzari Ahl al-Tikriti confirmed that the Guard would be closing its Egyptian Regional Command and withdrawing all employees and workers.

During the announcement, he specified that; “The conduct and posture of the Egyptian government are not compatible with the Arab Guard. The Sisi administration has proven itself uncommitted to pro-Arab behavior, evidenced in its continued hostility with friendly Arab governments. Continued allegations of corruption and human rights abuses also contributed to this decision. So long as these things remain the case, I cannot in good conscience operate the Arab Guard within Egyptian borders. Our school clubs and reading groups will be ended. Our cooperation with local Egyptian Mosques, Islamic Schools, and humanitarian groups will also end. As such, we will also be withdrawing all Security Department personnel from Egypt. It is my sincerest hope that one day soon the attitude and actions of the Egyptian government will be one that allows the Guard to cooperate with it.”

The Arab Guard, which stylizes itself as a 'private social organization supporting Arab history, heritage, and security', has been operating in Egypt for years. The organization spends tens of millions across the Middle East supporting Arab nationalist political candidates, running school clubs and reading groups, and working with humanitarian groups for outreach to impoverished communities. However, the Guard has also been criticized, particularly its Security Department, for supposedly being a front for arming and training guerilla and insurgent fighters. Allegations that the Guard deployed thousands of fighters to the Chadian Civil War remain mainstream. Some also claim the guard has connections in multiple Arab governments and militaries that give it access to arms and equipment for weapons caches and secret militias. This stems from the Guard’s inception in the 2018-2021 Iraqi Civil War, where it backed democratic forces against the Islamic regime. Internal documents reflect 45,000 personnel in the Security Department, 11,000 of whom were employed in Egypt. They will be brought back to the Arab States and some sent to the unstable Levantine Kingdom.

The perception of the Arab Guard as a tacit militia force isn’t helped by the fact that Arab Guard leadership often dress in military fatigues, using titles like Regional Commander, Operations Chief, and Commanding Officer. Chairman Nuzari himself is often seen in public flanked by armed Security Department personnel. Guard reading materials, public statements, and pamphlets also often emphasize the need to ‘defend’ the Arab World and focus on fostering young Arab men in Arab nationalist thought and belief.

The decision to close the Egyptian Regional Command has been characterized by some as the Arab Guard ‘siding’ with the Persian Gulf Pact in the rising tensions and current Arab Arms Race. Nuzari has also been criticized for placing the politics of Egypt in front of humanitarian and social missions the Arab Guard pursues. The ERC Commander, Mazin Riyal, a Jordanian himself, commented on the decision saying; “Chairman Nuzari has made the right choice. We put ourselves at risk operating in a nation whose government violently persecutes its opposition and seems dedicated to regional instability.”
