Gazoo wants to say that Gazoo won't be online tomorrow and possibly Tuesday. Gazoo wanted to let everyone know in case somebody goes to Court in the next 72 hours.

The First Railroad
First RP post

Hammer Met steel, sending sparks into the sky. The Rail Ties would bind the nation together as much as it would bind the rails. By the end of the Quarter Timber would be rolling down This Line on its way to New Californi to be turned into Charcoal. That Charcoal would then become the heartbeat of the nation. However he had to start somewhere, and Wade Lockett wasn't about to wait for Someone to tell him that he could't build a commercial Giant from the ground up. After all, this was the United States of Praskin, Land of Opportunity. and it was Second Generation Immigrant Wade Lockett who would pave the streets in gold.

Wade Served as a Union Captain in one of the Bloodiest Conflicts of the Civil war, Men Died around him in the near Loring Church. He and his Men helped Clutch a Union Victory from the Jaws of Defeat, Forcing the Monarchists Back West Towards Tristham. the War had ended only Two years Earlier after the Union Captured the Monarchist Capitol of Tristham and Killed the king. Now the Bonds of Brotherhood must Be forged in Rail ties, and why not make a little bit of money in the Process?

Is that an insult?

Tellarmia wrote:Is that an insult?

It is up to you to determine if This is "Great " Enough For you. As for me, this Union is strong.

So to answer you're question, no it is not an insult, it is a call to arms to keep this union strong.

Long Live the Union

Sicias, I was not saying that I think the Union isn't strong enough. Look, I respect you. I respect the Union, but what I'm seeing, NOT FROM MY OPINIONS, is that people are using Nationalism (Regionalism?) to cope with the fact that the UNion of Allied States can no longer lift the responsibilities and capabilities, so now the Nation citizens are leaving.

I'm sorry, but if one more thing happens, I might leave.

Regionalism is Part of our current rebuilding Process. Our nation numbers are taking a slump, But If you count Active nations, that number has gone up since I took charge. People aren't necessarily Leaving as Inactive players stay inactive a little too long. I urge you to Stick around and if those population numbers truly worry you, it's not that hard to start a recruitment campaign yourself. South and I will also be running Recruitment Campaigns to Increase our number of active players.

Very well. By the way, when is the next election for the senate? I'd almost forgot about it.

September First...

Tellarmia wrote:Since just a few weeks ago, the population was 70, now its 50.

This is very common in NationStates. When a person creates a nation they get many telegrams from many different regions, and some choose our region, but a majority of these people that do join will go inactive and their nations will cease to exist. The ones that aren't these inactive nations are those who have come and gone many times in the past. The activity at the moment is better than I have seen in the past, so don't be discouraged!

Zetox and Tellarmia

Just a heads up that I'll be in Hong Kong for pretty much all of September tying up a couple of loose ends with my family. The election falls on a day I'll be in quarantine. The place I'll be staying in after that is small and I won't have a lot of privacy until I get back sometime around October.
