At this point however, there was already no confidence left in the Acadian democratic system due to the absolutely earth shattering nature of the revelations of corruption in the Dermout administration.

Not necessarily evil, and definitely not off-brand. Misguided and deluded will be a better description. He is a man of many contradictions, yet with relatively simple goals. He was shaped by the environment he grew up in.

I'm working on a custom nation right now called "The Estonian-Latvian Union," in Estonia and Latvia, but the problem is that, just like my baltic nation, they're stuck between multiple powerhouses.
