Smh, low-quality attention seeking...

Good answer! What would you say are the top 3 most critical areas for repair/improvement?

Hello ~ I am a reporter from the Greitbart newspaper, and we would like your opinion on PAnon.

Chickens are amazing but tarantulas are so cute. So are jumping spiders!! I guess I would say jumping spiders win out but only barely.

I believe my campaign will help to stop the flood of new addicts. We can then turn our focus to the worst cases. I propose we isolate them in a designated channel where we can have licensed professionals attempt therapy.

So what you're suggesting is a containment area, for the worst of those who oppose you. Will these people be forced to work for the region?

On a more serious node, what do you think on the project VSP (Vivanco Surveys and Polls)?

I sadly couldn’t make it to the town hall, so AMA it is!

Cretox state wrote:I don’t think anyone has asked this in the past few election cycles, so bear with me here: We already have an excellent WA program and it some of the highest authorship figures in the game. I should know; I got on the Power20 for it.

NationStates issue authorship is a similarly engaging area of the game that gets virtually zero attention from any major region other than Forest and (somewhat) TRR, and even then it’s more individual effort than community focus.

As delegate, would you do anything to introduce TNPers to issue authorship, and do you believe that community issue writing resources/mentorship are worth pursuing? We already have a few issue authors (myself included) in TNP, and one editor.

OMG I'm so glad you asked! This is literally something I've mentioned in the my campaign thread, and I'm actually really excited about it. I want to host an Issues-themed festival! We'd have writing workshops, stats building competitions, and possibly even RP set in the NS multi-verse (the one that your on-site nation is canonically in). I also wouldn't be opposed to possibly introducing an issues writing platform for staff members, perhaps as a subset of Communications- but that's for later down the road.

El Fiji Grande wrote:Nimarya - What reforms to FOIA do you think should be made, in an ideal world?

I believe the Executive should make more frequent releases every term, so there isn't such a backlog like Tlomz had to deal with. This does include Discord channels.

UNCHAINABLE AND UNYEILDING

League of the Willing, in Oskaari, "Liga des-Willens", is a militarily, strategically, and economically cooperatively based alliance formed out of the Remnant of the once-prosperous Jörmungandr Pact. The Alliance was created by the Kaiserin of Oskarheim, Monika Schneider, on December 1st, 2020 with the goal of retaking the influence and power that the Niche collection of Authoritarian Nations have lost in past years and establishing a precedent for a new Order on Strangereal.

Days after the announcement of the Formation of the Pact, the Kaiserinreich began backdoor negotiations with nations across Strangereal, quickly bolstering its ranks with advantageous, like-minded authoritarians and past allies. While originally set to become a regional alliance, Oskarheim realized that in order to grow, it must seek new pastures and grew beyond the shores of the Tsenmny. The League is now composed of 7 Nations and has no obligational treaties with other alliances or states.

The headquarters of the League are in Rozabrück, along the Oskaari Southern Coast.

Structure

The Leadership of the League of the Willing de-facto lays in the hands of the Oskaari nation with a subsidiary High Command that helps manage the alliance. The Alliance Director works under the Leader in close participation to help coordinate alliance realpolitik and initiatives. However other institutions and systems exist to give every member of the alliance a modicum of say in the alliance. The Commission for League Membership is composed of representatives from each country, each with a fair and equal vote that goes towards the inclusion or rejection of new nations to the League.

Along with the Commission, the "League Senate" exists, which is a platform that allows nations to vote on declarations and incentives towards the alliance's International Agenda, Inter-alliance projects and precedents as well as Alliance wide relations and actions. The Senate shares a similar democratic system with every nation having an equal vote. The Senate Leader plays a seasonal, crutial role, being the deciding factor between locked-votes as the alliance fluctuates between odd and even member counts. However unlike other positions that are appointed by the Alliance leader, the LOTW Senate Leader has a term-limit where they must be re-appointed every 3 months or replaced by another nation's representatives. Due to some declarations/motions being pushy at times, clauses exist that allow people to opt out of Alliance-initiatives, although losing their ability to vote on such matters.

League of the Willing Armed Forces - The League of the Willing Armed Forces, better known by its abbreviation, LOTWAF, is a unified joint-defense force comprised of personnel from the memberstates of the League of the Willing. It was founded on an unanimous vote on August 4th, 2021 and quickly picked up pace, soon after being sworn into commission with its first soldiers being volunteered by 7 out of 7 members. Now, it actively employs 102k Personnel.

Rules

  • Wars are allowed, however please remember consent rules and don't start a war that could blow out of proportion

  • Must be loyal to the League of the Willing and its interests

  • Members must respect the RP rights of those in and outside the alliance

  • Must be Authoritarian to some degree

  • Forming Personal Military pacts with other nations is okay, as long as it doesn't impede on League Ambitions, as well as can't join other formal alliances like OSEAN.

  • Have fun and Remember that this is a Roleplaying Game

Westinor wrote:Inb4 Cretox is appointed Minister of Issues?

Only a truly dynamic delegate would create a ministry wholecloth!!

Cretox state wrote:Would you ever want to be commended? If so, when?

Being commended would be awesome, but I've always seen that as something that should happen down the road, when I've pulled off something actually worthy of being commended! I don't have any idea what that could be, though. I'm open to suggestions >.>

Are you going to let the Vice Delegate have a seat on the executive council?

What do you think about a TNP Bar Association for a potential Prosecutor/Defense Council pool?

Assuming the Vice Delegate showers regularly and behaves themselves, yes.

A Bar Association sounds worth looking into. We've certainly had trouble in the past and anything to help our courts run more smoothly and fairly is good in my book. That said, if I'm perfectly honest I haven't researched that much into what you have in mind or what it would entail, so I would need to do more research before making any decisions.

Cretox state wrote:Do you believe that TNP ought to be commended? If so, by whom? Would you take any steps to facilitate this?

Does TNP deserve to be commended? Of course! Who should commend us? That one's harder. It's a bit difficult to pass a commendation for your region, written by someone in your own region. An opportunity would have to arise, and the proposal would need to be very well-written for me to support it.

Being delegate sure helps with getting commended :D

As for TNP... any ideas for who could write such a proposal and isn’t in TNP?
