RP: Condemnation

The Lirana government issues a full condemnation of the Fardlandian actions against Saint Shokai, along with the recent demands, as ‘demands unreasonable for any situation short of Shokaian invasion of Fardland, along with extensive damage to Fardlandian citizenry and infrastructure’

They urge Fardland to back down from their offensive stance.

As such, the government has offered military hardware donations to Saint Shokai in the event of a conflict between the two nations, though direct intervention will not be possible without a viable Casus Belli

RP: Historical Reevaluation

The small town of Corvi in the region of V'keah Koyr, once only known by the majority of Schwypians for the valiant stand Schwypian soldiers once made there, has again made headlines after a primary school teacher, Mrs. Victoria Tavish, broke with standard education procedure and conveyed Franklin "Grunkis" Strongarm, the Schwypian general who founded the First Republic in 1994, as a dictator rather than as "The Father of the Republic." Mrs. Tavish came under heavy fire from conservative reporters, as Strongarm himself was a conservative, and stated that the classroom was no place to vocalize her own political opinions. However, this opinion is not a new one and reaches all the way back to the 1990's, though it has always remained unpopular. Given this, however, the government has allowed the Ministry of Education to reevaluate how General Strongarm is taught in school. For context, Franklin Strongarm was a populist conservative general who quickly rose through the ranks after the First Scoipis War, a military conflict which lasted from 1989 to 1991 and saw the Schwypian Army unable to defeat the smaller Scoipian Army. At the time, Schwypia's northern region of Scoipis was an independent nation that had long evaded being incorporated into Schwypia. When Schwypia declared war in 1989 after a Scoipian border incident that resulted in dozens of civilain casualties, most thought the small nation would be easy to defeat, but the mountainous terrain of Scoipis proved hard for the Schwypian army to assault. This, coupled with the incomitance of King Theodore V, who dictated that he would personally oversee army command, and due to the inadequate generals in the army command, save Grand General Titus Wolfe, led to military disaster after disaster. Schwypia, humiliated, was forced into a white peace in 1991. King Theodore V was reprimanded and was forced to shuffle the Army Command Staff to incorporate generals of a "lower standing" and of "differing political opinions." (The King feared a popular uprising and thus banned such individuals from high military status.) As such, Franklin Strongarm was promoted to general, and when the Second Scoipis War errupted not a year later (1991 - 1994), General Strongarm served with distinction, earning the epithet "Grunkis," meaning "War-Leader" in Scoipian. After the war's end and Scoipis' inclusion into Schwypia, General Strongarm led a bloodless coup d'état against the King and established the First Republic of Schwypia with himself as President.
President Strongarm died after only a year in office from cancer, so his intentions for the country were never made clear. This is where the debate as to if Strongarm was a hero or a dictator comes into question. While he never did anything tyrannical during his tenure, he also never made any indication that he would give up power. For the first year, Strongarm ruled Schwypia virtually unopposed, as many key elements of Schwypian democracy were yet to be created. In an unreleased interview with Elliot Royce, the second President of Schwypia, he voiced concerns about Strongarm's intentions, saying they "were unknown but to a few chief military advisors, giving the impression of a military dicatorship," though he stopped short of calling him an actual dictator.
With this reviewed, the Ministry of Education has stated that, due to insufficient evidence, Franklin Strongarm will still be taught as the Father of the Republic and will still be revered for his role in the Second Scoipis War, but it will be mentioned to students that his year in office was "undemocratic," and that the presidencies of Elliot Royce, Sasha Toby, and the "Father of Democracy" himself, Christmas Britain, gradually brought about the democratic system which inspired the minds behind the Second Republic, a system which Schwypia still follows today in its Parliament, Courts, and Regional devolutions.

RP: Condemnation But No War...Yet

The Lezel administration has condemned Fardland mark 2 over it's "unprovoked aggression". A member of the Militant Party in the National Hall of Delegates proposed that Windardia mobilizes troops to aide Saint Shokai and engage in their first ever war as the Second Republic. The proposal was a 50-50 tie, meaning the proposal was not passed. However, President Lezel later proposed the "Military Readiness Act", which would see Windardia put more funding into their military operations and perhaps send aid to Saint Shokai when Windardia is able. This was passed 76-24. President Lezel has requested to meet with the leader of Saint Shokai to discuss the war and potential Windardian involvement.

RP: Established Relations

After President Lezel's successful meeting with Prime Minister Quinn of Saint Shokai yielded profitable results, Lezel has pledged Windardia will intervene in the Shokai-Fardland War in due time. Windardia's borders have opened with their southern neighbor, with civilians allowed to come in. This non-aggression pact has many change their minds about President Lezel, whom many feared would transform Windardia into a military dictatorship. They now view Lezel with optimism, as he has established Windardia's first relations outside of TNL.

I’m voiding everything after this post in regards to this conflict let me explain why.

Fardland mark 2 You mention partially mobilizing and then in your very next post afterwards say you have “fully mobilized.” Also, Saint Shokai having anti Fardland immigrant sentiments isn’t justification for land annexation. It might be justification for increasing border security which is why I haven’t voided the above post.

Unless you have historical claims to that land this isn’t justification for land annexation.
So not voiding the above post, just everything afterward.

RP: Oradea Summit
Oradea, RFO Territory - Following the Icewindia Ultimatum, the leaders of the Provisional Government and the Rumanian Freedom Organization agreed to meet together to discuss a ceasefire agreement to allow the distribution of vital food and medical aid. The summit, held in the city of Oradea, ended in success as the two governments signed a treaty to establish a ceasefire zone and a protocol for aid distribution. The Oradea Agreement calls for the establishment of a ceasefire line running from the city of Oradea in the south along the PGR-RFO frontline until reaching the coast at the Bay of Marlandor. A second ceasefire line will be established on the Constanta peninsula. The ceasefire lines are to be administered by international peacekeepers sent from either the LoN or, if the LoN refuses, from other parties agreed upon by both sides. Both parties will be barred from deploying troops within 35km of the ceasefire line and artillery, mortars, and long range weaponry is banned within 50km. Additionally, the ceasefire line is to be designated as a no-fly zone. The ports of Galati and Iasi will be opened to aid shipments and both sides have agreed to allow the distribution of aid supplies across the ceasefire line. Additionally, the agreement calls for the RFO withdrawal from pockets near Galati and Bucuresti in return for safe passage back to the territories around Iasi and Constanta. This agreement has been hailed as a major success by both sides but it notably only involved two of the many factions involved in the civil war.

As per the agreement, the PGR allowed the peaceful withdrawal of RFO fighters from Galati and Bucuresti and the PGR representative to the LoN has requested the deployment of LoN peacekeepers to the ceasefire line. Cenagrad

Marching and Marching (Hyechonan War - 2)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iPCN9tJsn4

A mighty offensive into the Busan perimeter pressed the decimated Republic of Hyechon Army into the coastlines. A near-victorious Hyechonan People's Army prepared to deal the final blow, but the miraculous appearance of upward of 200,000 Icewindian soldiers beat them back to the perimeter. With warning of Blayredeshian forces preparing to enter the south of the country, the forces of the revolutionary hero Kang Hyeong-Suk had to think fast.

It was no secret that the North had the majority of public support across the country. The death of the old leadership prompted socialists to take the opportunity to call the public to arms in support of the Jucheist country who dwarfed the south in production and popular support. While in the North, more people were called and trained into the People's Army to properly match the overwhelming concourses of westerners pouring in - the South would be given a special tactic.

Raw military-grade weapons would be buried in obscure places only sympathizing guerrilla leaders of the People's Guerrilla Army would know, establishing everything from pistols to anti-air guns in almost every city and rural province in the occupied areas. Northern civilians would volunteer to perpetuate this guerrilla tactic, leaving their homes in the north and posing as civilians to help the war effort for the PGA and HPA. This would ensure that even the armies of foreign countries would be ripped a new one by well-armed and financially supported insurrectionists.

The next phase of Kang Hyeong-Suk's plan was simple- initially avoid Blayredeshia and pull back, giving them the illusion of control in the south but let the People's Guerrilla Army devastate them from the inside with the aforementioned support, then attack once again in a mighty maelstrom to destroy them. The Hyechonan People's Army would pull back in a tactical retreat, giving the southern third of the country to the Blayredeshians- the southern capital of Hanseong still in the North's hands.

Navally, this conservative practice would also be employed. Not wanting to waste the captured and valuable southern ships this early on, the immense fleet of small coastal defense craft and even weaponized civilian fishing boats would instead take their place, engaging in a tactic of hit-and-run harassment of the Icewindian and Blayredeshian ships in a bid to interrupt and slow down their momentum and supply lines. Even if the civilian boats with AA/Howitzers/Torpedo Tubes nailed to it would be outgunned, the hope was that the casualties would be enough to give the PGA inland some flak. They would be supported by both proper torpedo/PT boats and isolated yet extremely determined HPA artillery squadrons on the previously-captured southern islets, attempting to use their coastal guns to hammer at the mighty western fleets- even at the cost of their own lives.

In the air, however, this conservative practice would not be employed. Confident that the north's anti air was so dense that it could not be penetrated, a wave of dozens of propaganda planes (Po-2 attack biplanes) would be sent deep into the southern territory, using their primitive nature to avoid easy radar detection, flying low and slow through the sea and plains towards ports and established FOB's, similarly harrassing them through means of light bombs and machinegun fire- escalating to desperate kamikaze bids if/when they were eventually downed. The more modern planes found it hard to take them down because of the Po-2's incredible slowness- unless they fired from a distance. However, this wave of planes would only be a diversion, as a few squadrons of proper fighter-bombers would be released beyond the south's southern borders in an attempt to bomb out blayredeshian supplies in neutral territory.

RP: Socialism Begins to Die Out

Today, President Lezel proposed the "Safeguarding from Socialism Act" to the National Hall of Delegates, which prevents worker unions from forming in privately owned businesses. The bill was passed 61-39. This bill, however, does not affect worker unions in government-owned businesses. This act was passed shortly after recent studies show that socialism is dying out, and is not the very popular ideology it once was. Lezel has tried to wipe out socialism in order meet with requirements from the TNL Charter, and this bill was his latest attempt.
