ADDRESS BY PREMIER KHRUSHCHEV

Our Glorious Premier,Nikita Khrushchev has given an address to the Soviet people that the USSR will stay alive and will try to cooperate with western nations to make a defensive alliance to defend from Germany.

Khrushchev has stated that though the US may be an enemy,the enemy of our enemy is our friend.Stating that they and the American Nation must come together to weaken a common enemy.As he said "The United States is an enemy yes,but we have a common enemy in Germany.".This alliance he wishes to form in a meeting in Vladivostok,calling it the "The Eastern-Western Pact" as in respect to the coming together of east and west.He requests a meeting with US President Tyler and other allied nations presidents for a meeting in Vladivostok including Britain and others.

He wishes to hold the meeting as soon as possible due to the separation of Soviet families during the conflict between the Soviets and Germans.

SOVIET GOVERNMENT ORDERS UPTICK IN MILITARY PRODUCTION

In recent news,the Soviet Government has ordered for the production of rifles,tanks and aircraft be increased to compete with Germany,The US and other Powers.They have asked for more research to go into stronger tanks and nuclear weapons and have started to pour a lot of money into the military and research.The production mainly focuses on the nuclear aspect to increase their count of nuclear bombs.Production of rifles like the Avtomat-Kalashnikov 47,have also been seeing higher production.They are starting to see to upgrade these weapons by 1963.

The meeting between President Tyler and Premier Khrushchev has been a success and the meeting takes place within a few weeks.The USSR is joyful for this alliance will protect from Axis Threats.Internal affairs have been rather calm,with only some problems with Kazakh and Uzbek nationalists.Premier Khrushchev has said that these groups serve no threat to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics,and that they will be dealt with.

In the Capital of Novosibirsk,Khrushchev waits and prepares for the meeting between US and USSR as a meeting between ideological enemies come together to defeat a common enemy

Today is the International Day of Peace. Let us come together in reflection, hope and prayer for a world with less violence, conflict and injustice and one where peace, justice and kindness rule.

I would also like to share with you all an incredible campaigner for peace and justice. Eleanor Roosevelt was the First Lady of the United States from 1933-1946, served as the US Representative to the United Nations, oversaw the drafting of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and was a prominent campaigner for youth, women and racial minorities in the United States. She was a woman far ahead of her time whose resolve and influence has fundamentally changed the world for the better.

This quote by Eleanor Roosevelt has been a favourite of mine for many years. I hope it inspires you, as it does me, on this important day.

SOVIET DIPLOMAT SENT OFF TO CSA

Today,a Soviet diplomat was sent off to the North American country of the Confederate States of America,to ease tensions between the USSR and the CSA.The diplomat,Yuri Yaronov,is reported to have been sent there not only to ease relations but to bring back a review of the country and see how their conditions are.

The diplomat is to arrive there in 10-12 days.Khrushchev has also been dealing with internal affairs and border conflicts with Germany.Just last week,a German soldier accidentally fired on a Soviet outpost in Kulsary leading to a skirmish that left 10 Soviets and 9 Germans dead.Khrushchev said that they fired first so it is their fault that the skirmish occurred.There is yet to be a word from the Reich's Government while anti-German sentiment has grown.Some say that in Kulsary,the townspeople have started to take up arms against any Germans and to protect themselves from attacks.

The Soviet military since the Kulsary Incident has been on high alert on the German border,to protect from a German invasion shall the event happen.
