Hello Thaecia! I am Mardis and I am running in the Senate by election under the TCU. If elected I will work with the other senators to improve the region and pass much needed legislation. I will be an active senator who is greatly involved in the region. Here is my campaign dispatch-

Introduction

Hello Thaecia! I am Mardis and I am running in the senate by-election. I am a member of the Thaecian Bar Association and I am also an ambassador in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Other than that I am also a staffer in the culture and justice ministries. I am active and am committed to serving Thaecia to the best of my ability in the Senate.

Platform

Domestic Policy
•Reduction of the house to 11 and senate to 7 to create more competitive elections
•To create a education department under the Home Affairs Ministry to better educate the newer citizens of Thaecia about the region and its government. As a newer citizen I know how important it is to educate our new members about the region to make sure they are ready to be involved in our great region.
•To have less RP legislation and to pass legislation that actually improves the region and creates new laws. RP legislation wastes the time of the legislature and both houses should focus on legislation that will improve our region.
•To create 6 month terms for justices with a re-confirmation after the term. This will work to increase the activity of the court and the justices.

Foreign Policy
•To increase use of Thaemperial army in both defending and raiding. I support the military manifesto and think we should increase the use of our military. The legislative branch should not be told about all operations of the Thaemperial army.
•Encourage involvement in the WA and to increase our activity in the WA
•Increase recruitment efforts including manual recruitment and API.

Like how the autism acceptance week flag was changed from a puzzle piece to a unity symbol. The puzzle piece looked alot like the autism speaks logo and honestly frick that noise.

I also did the no evolution in schools, but to be fair, I thought I was on my puppet. I screwed a lot of things up that I'd been working toward with that one accidental decision.

TBH. I wish there was a way to repeal a decision if the outcome was too greatly distant from what I want.. It doesn't seem right to be permanently locked into something undesirable because I didn't think such and such of some other mildly related factor of an issue, especially since a repeal function is available elsewhere. But, I digress, it is what it is. My nation continues to grow alongside me and we will continue our fight for betterment!

Yeah, repeal would have helped me when I chose the wrong option by not reading correctly (skimming) or that evolution one where I thought I was on my puppet. But ah well.

You'll eventually get the opportunity to reverse decisions you've made in issues via new issues. To prevent it happening in the future, understand that there's no nuance or middle ground in issues. It's all or nothing.
