THE HUNT FOR YANAPUMA | PT 3
PUCALLPA | STATE OF UCAYALI | INCAN OCCUPIED TERRITORIES

Yanapuma put down the Wakki-Taki, sighing as he leaned on the table before him. It was only a matter of time now. He had just received news that Icoua... his closest and probably only friend left with any actual power, was gone. Now there was nothing blocking the Pretannians from finding him... nothing. Though currently that wasn't the only thing on his mind. Now he was totally and completely... alone.

He had pushed away his allies and friends, made new enemies across the world, and more. Now those remaining on his side were being hunted down and killed like dogs by the angry mob of white beasts who dared to exist beneath his glorious nation. His grip on the table tightened, the heat between his hand and the table causing a small sweat to form. He let go, throwing his hands up in the air in frustration.

"Why... what did I do to deserve this!" he yelled out into the empty bunker. He shook his head, what was he to do now? Run? Try and escape the country? His people would turn on him... well they already sort of did so that didn't matter. What about his remaining allies... well they'd be hunted down anyways, he needed to worry about himself and only himself....

he paused for a second.

It was settled then... he would try and run... find a place to hide.... maybe he could escape north? No... the Portinabians despised him all the same... he was surrounded by the White menace it seemed.... looks like he'd have to try and head east, possibly for Cerrado or Amazonia. Hopefully all would go well.

...

Greene was getting close... really close. With the help of some of Huascar's top men she was able to gain access to the nations military bunker system, finally narrowing down her search to those in Northwest Ucayali State. She smirked as she looked at the map, sitting in a rather darkened room and eying up one bunker in particular.

"General.." she asked, on of the men in the room spoke up.

"Yes Madame Greene?"

"When was Bunker U-35 last used?"

"Oh that hasn't been used in almost twenty years.... we doubt he'd be there honestly. We don't even know if he knows it exists."

She smirked.

"Oh I bet he does... I bet he does..." she said, snickering a little before standing up.

"We're searching that bunker..." She said, her voice sounding determined as she walked out of the room. She was going to find him, even if it meant bringing back his god damn corpse.

Raphtalia knew she probably wasn’t going to win but this was an opportunity to see what Hiei was capable of. “Shall I give you the opening move?”

"Right, these little guys," Heidrun starts as she beckons a drone over and grabs it, "are here both for security and maintenance. They've got a nasty sting to them, trust me."

Hiei took both mock swords in her hand and bowed to Raph, pressing her toes into her high heels as she did so. "Very well if that is what you desire" Hiei clicked her red strappy high heel once and charged with some speed at Raph. Hiei could use both swords with equal strength and slammed the first one down towards Raph at midsection level

“Like an electric shock?” It probably would look strange to a human’s eye to see a young girl holding a drone like a pet.

Raphtalia admittedly wasn’t expecting such speed and power and managed to parry just in time. “I guess you’re not all talk then,” she said in a somewhat joking manner.

Hiei's right foot slammed on the ground and immediately after Raph jokingly got her quip out, Hiei rapidly brought the right sword around in a horizontal manner to Raph's midsection on her right side

"That, or an EMP if the target is robotic in nature. Or they could just ram into you if that doesn't work. Getting hit by one of them at full speed? That hurts."

Raphtalia moved out of the way just in time but she offered no quip this time. Hiei was being serious and she had to take it seriously too. She then lunged forward and swiped her sword from her right side.

OOC: sorry for not posting lately, I had some IRL stuff come up that kept me from RP. I've gone back to read through what has been posted (but I lost the last place something happened, so I don't know if I missed anything. Let me know if I did and I'll edit this post as need be.

The fleets had been preparing for the past few hours and awaited the signal. As time continued to tick on, the officers on the bridges slouched in their chairs waiting for something to happen, the pilots did check after continuous check of their crafts to make sure they were ready to go, and the soldiers sat in their armor waiting for something to happen. Suddenly, the message was received. Soldier's had given their lives to give us a fighting chance against our vastly superior enemies. It was our hope that the Empire's fleet could continue to distract them in the Kapteyn system while Imperial forces attacked the other two.

Suddenly, the alarms began blaring throughout the ships. Soldiers and sailors rushed to their positions as the ships ships leapt forward into hyperspace. Minutes would pass, when ten fleets entered both the Wolf and Kepler systems. Almost immediately, the smaller but more agile electronic warfare ships moved into defensive positions and began interfering with short and long range canners and communications. Giving time for both the fleet to get closer to their targets before being engaged, and having time before reinforcements would arrive. In the Kepler system, the bulk of ships arrived there. The larger ships prepared to fight the Ventusian fleets in the system, while the smaller frigates landed armies to take the planets.

As for the fleets that went to the Wolf system, the task was simple. Destroy the shipyards and retreat. Without the shipyards, ships could not be further produced, nor repaired. While this force was significantly smaller than that which arrived in the Kepler system, the majority of this force was made up of larger ships that could hold up in a war of attrition, as the main target was again not the ships, but the shipyards. This fleet also had electronic countermeasure ships to disrupt communications and sensors, and had long range missile cruisers. As soon as the shipyards were beyond repair, the fleet would retreat back to friendly space.

As for the Kepler system targets: Szel, Vitr, Katina, and Vindur, it was simple. Occupy the planets, use countermeasures against them, and finally disrupt major Ventusian infrastructure.

For instance, soldiers would land on the planet and would being making a fast push into urban areas to create makeshift defensive zones, while a main support base would be created in the landing area. The support base would be able to provide aid as needed for a continuous push into the planet. The urban buffer zones would create a stable defensive structure for forces as the Ventusian's would have to wrestle with retaking the urban jungles, or leveling them to bypass them. Once that was complete, armies would continue their push through the rest of the planet. After capturing defensive structures, they could be used against them or destroyed. Such as communications relays (destroying Ventusian communications, or listening in to them). Finally, after the planet is secure, remnants would continue to fight against the occupation. As such major infrastructure would be disabled to interrupt guerilla attacks, or destroyed should such areas be uncontrollable.

"Anyway, those drones are mainly in production for government use at the moment, but in the future, they're going to be put to work across the country to aid mechanics and engineers. Let's move on."

A few more drones could be seen flying about, as they came to a heavy airlock door.

"Here we are. Once this is opened, we'll be able to enter the mainframe. Opening it is no easy task, though. You need multiple access codes and recognition checks, or... me."

An Unannounced Visitor, Pt. 2
K2-155d | Dornish Extraterrestrial Colony | United Antillean Kingdom

As Aarav asked the unknown visitors for their identification, a group of armed soldiers and what appeared to be their superior stepped out of the spacecraft. Upon seeing the rifles of the Aquila II guards, they raised their weapons as well and both sides prepared for the worst. The group seemed to not be able to understand Neo Latin, so they had to run Aarav's inquiry through a translating device first before being able to respond. One of them pointed to a red patch sewed onto their uniform. It showed a white Chinese character that seemed oddly familiar to both Aarav and Officer Núñez. 'They must be from the Sun Wu Dynasty', Aarav thought. 'How did they get here? Did they follow our spaceship?'

Their superior spoke something into the translating device. The language that seemed to be some Chinese dialect, probably Mandarin, was translated into perfect Neo Latin immediately: "I am Captain Yuan, and we are from the Sun Wu Dynasty. We are apart of a military instillation on the moon that tracks incoming and outgoing ships from Earth, and maintains neutrality within the area around the Earth. We have no identification of you or your vessel. It is time for you to identify yourselves", the Captain had said.

Aarav and Núñez glanced at each other. Núñez nodded to signify that Aarav should introduce them to their Chinese guests. Afterwards, Núñez gestured towards the guards to lower their weapons. They obeyed, stepping back and assuming a defensive yet confident stance. Even though Aarav was proficient in Mandarin Chinese due to his strict upbringing in a Hindustani-Chinese dominated municipality in Trinidad, he responded in Neo Latin.

"I am pleased to meet you, Captain Yuan. My name is Aarav Sal Bhattacharyya, this is Officer Núñez. We are from the United Antillean Kingdom and on a mission to develop and colonize K2-155d", Aarav said confidently as the Governor-to-be he was. "Our vessel recently departed from Tobago and was meant to arrive already weeks ago." Not sure whether he had disclosed too much detail, he tried to motion to Núñez to continue, but to no avail. "How did you—"

"I think it is none of our interest how they got here, but why", Officer Núñez intervened. "You surely must have a reason why you followed us here, or what you intend to achieve by following us."

While most of the RP action is currently going on on K2-155d, people on TOI 700d have already been provided with resources and material by Aquila I two and a half weeks ago. They're already finished constructing scaffolds for first residential facilities and the main settlement hall. Everyone is doing well and no one died. Population counts are 512 on K2-155d and 515 on TOI 700d.

Strange Times Indeed, Part 2
K2-155d | Dornish Extraterrestrial Colony | United Antillean Kingdom

It appeared that the unknown transport that the ship had followed brought them to a brand new colony of the Antillean Kingdom...which had not been known previously. Having the translation device running gave Captain Yuan an understanding of the situation. Mr. Bhattacharyya was an agreeable person, but Officer Núñez appeared hostile to their presence. Understandably, but it seemed quite needless. Captain Yuan brought up his hand and then lowered it giving the order for the soldiers to stand down. Still holding their weapons mind you, they no longer pointed it at the colonists nor their armed companions.

Captain Yuan stepped forward towards Mr. Bhatt and Officer Núñez, "Well, it appears that you are indeed not a pirate haven as we feared, so I'd like to formally apologize for any aggressive action that we took, but piracy has been a problem in the past and we don't want that to spark up again," making a little chuckle and allowing for the translation to play before continuing, "if I may take some of your time Mr. Bhattacharyya to fill out some paperwork, we will be on our way. I'll have a soldier or two accompany us, but let me make up our recent actions to you. Allow my soldiers to help with unloading your ship while we speak. Its the least we can do."

With that, Captain Yuan bowed slightly to the two and awaited their response.

The Alliance fleets were in a state of chaos due to their sensors and comms being jammed, leaving the guns to be operated manually. Starfighters would be launched, trying to take out the hammers while protecting the capital ships in the process. Defenses on the planets were ready but even they weren’t sure what the Sistonians had up their sleeves.
