New Raleigh, OLN
Janurary 12th, 2152

It was a cold, bustling day at New Raleigh-Durham airport. Ariana and her personnel were on the tarmac, waiting for the arrival of the PretannianPrime Minister. Ariana dawned a light blue wool coat over her typical blazer and dress pants. She wore studded ankle boots as well as an attempt to keep warm. On her head, she wore ear muffs, which while not the most professional-looking, she felt she desperately needed. Despite all of this she was shivering like no tomorrow. She wishes they could've brought heaters to make this easier for everyone.

She popped an anti-acid preemptively, though nowadays she's been so used to meeting with leaders that nervous burps weren't even much of an issue anymore. Regardless she had to be safe. While waiting for the plane to arrive, Ariana had been thinking long and hard about what her goals would be once she left office. She was mostly focused on staying in the world of Carolinian politics regardless of the position's notoriety. After all, she had already reached the top.

It hurt her heart, knowing this was the last year of her presidency. She had been keeping up with the politicians who were desperately trying to replace her. Ironically enough, there wasn't a lot of criticism from even her opposing parties, spare for the controversial meet with The Nippon Teikoku, the construction of Aerbourne, and her administration's lack of will towards entering wars to fight alongside Carolinian allies.

Wars. New Pretannia had just gotten out of a war, right? Alongside Cymiopolis. Ariana didn't think it made sense to enter a war so late into her presidency, but of course, people would have their opinions regardless of their merit. Still, she wondered if not supporting PAZ members in a war she found to be morally ambiguous would leave a sour taste in the Prime Minister's mouth. She'd certainly hope not.

The Northern New Raleigh orchestra had been commissioned to play the Pretannian anthem once they arrived. They were setting up their instruments, the flags of both New Pretannia and the New United Carolinas flying above them in temporary tall flagpoles. Military personnel from Fort Bragg itself were lined up in "at ease" positions, waiting for their chance to salute and escort the two leaders. Local media was already rolling up in their news vans and helicopters. Hidden government snipers were keeping watch on where the two leaders would be meeting, as well as in general ensuring the general area was secure. Everything was set up, it was just about the wait.

And sure enough, their wait was over. Government personnel began telling everyone to ready up as the Pretannian jet rolled down the taxiway. Has customary, the plane was sprayed by airport firetrucks via Water Salute, to welcome the foreign leader. The massive jet dawned the official colors of the nation, with "The Republic of Pretannia" painted beautiful along the side. It was a gorgeous livery, she had to admit. The tug pulled the plane to a precise stop right in front of the rug on which the leaders would meet.

In the NUC, hugs were common when having an arranged meeting with someone, though Ariana wondered if it was appropriate to hug a Pretannian under the same circumstances. Perhaps she shouldn't for the sake of cultural barriers.

A stair truck drove to the doors and linked with the side of the jet. The orchestra readied their instruments, and the soldiers were ordered to stand at attention by their Platoon leader.

Once the door opened, Ariana stood up from her seat and walked to the carpet. The orchestra played the anthem as Prime Minister Anna West emerged from the cabin. She was quite beautiful, Ariana had to admit. But she noticed the same nervous look in her eyes, even if it was faint. Ariana resonated with that. Maybe a hug was necessary.

As the Prime Minister's escorts walked her down the stairs, Ariana began walking to the other end of the long rug. Confidently, yet warmly. A walk that said "we mean business."
PM West began walking down as well, the soldiers saluting one by one as she passed them. Once the two women met in the middle, Ariana gave a smile.

"Prime Minister Anna West. As the President of the New united carolinas, I humbly welcome you to our home." Ariana said, sticking out her gloved hand for a handshake, which the Prime Minister took. After she took it, Ariana gave Ana a brief, yet welcoming hug.

Anna would watch as the plane came to a halt before the seeming welcome party the Carolinians had prepared for her. She sighed as she got up, two valor guardsmen following her and her partner in diplomacy, Secretariat of Foreign Affairs Edward Smith. The two would walk towards the entrance, watching as the doors opened for her and the Pretannian Anthem began to play. It was beautifully done she had to admit. As they walked to to meet Ariana she tried her best to keep her nerves under wraps. Though throughout the war she had been in correspondence with many leaders and afterwards she had just met with Queen Emilie of Celestiam but even now after all this she was always nervous about meetings with such powerful women higher than herself.

As Anna walked forwards she noted Ariana's confident stride, showing the power of the woman on the world stage in her eyes. She knew Ariana had left a massive footprint across the world, something Anna wished to emulate herself. To her Ariana was a hero not only to herself but to all women who wished to enter into the field of politics.

As Ariana greeted her she was surprised to receive the hug, frozen for a second before embracing her in kind. Edward and the Valor Guards gave a look of confusion, it was odd for hugs to be exchanged on such formal occasions for them. Once she let go Anna would speak.

"It is an honor to be here Madame President. It looked very lovely from the skies."

She gave a smile to Ariana, one showing nothing but warmth and kindness. While Ariana might have seen her rousing war speeches and intense campaign speeches, the way she conducted herself with others was normally much kinder and much more gentle, this was how she normally was with people.

"Also please send my complements to the orchestra. They played perfectly."

Edward nodded in agreement, Anna would've gone to thank them herself but she knew they had business to attend to.

"Welcome to the hub of Bucksdenian decision-making!"

Entering the building, one would find it bustling with activity, with various officials chatting and discussing important and unimportant business as they walk between the different rooms and offices. However, what was more relevant was the basement access. Two security guards were stationed outside the door, looking around at the things happening within the building and cracking occasional jokes as they stood there. Even if one were to get past these immovable sentinels (one of them claims to know karate, which is a pretty big deal), the door itself was still locked with a keypad and speech recognition system. As Heidrun and Penny approached the access door, they were stopped by the two guards.

"Sorry, but I'm afraid you two aren't allowed in here. This is only for Heidrun herself or personnel with express permission."

Heidrun stepped forward. "Oh right, you don't recognize me. Give me a moment, will you?"

Before they could stop her, she quickly unlocked the door.

"It's me, guys."

Battle for Macbeth

The Imperial Forces were fast approaching the four Alliance Fleets outside Macbeth. Fleet Admiral Hugo Jissard was leading the attack with four Battle Fleets of his own. “Sir, we’re almost in range.”

”Good, send a fleet out to the right and another to the left. Schadenfreude and I shall take the center.” Jissard ordered.

”Yes sir.” the Junior Commander responded. Wasn’t long till two Battle Fleets broke off, one going left, the other going right. Each Fleet preforming the same attack simultaneously.

“Launch all Fighters...” He then commanded. Forty-five thousand starfighters/bombers consisting of a mix of Ajunta-class StarFortress, TIE Zerstörers, TIE Bombers, VT-49 Decimators, TIE Adlertags, TIE/RE, Reapers, Raketenkämpfers, TIE Elites, and TIE’s all launched from their Fleets.

The Raketenkämpfers were extreme threats to enemy Capital Ships with forty-two combined Concussion Missiles and maneuverability to assist it in its attack runs.

Meanwhile, Jissard and his Fleets continued to inch further into range, armaments at the ready.

As the Imperial fleets inched closer, Alliance fighters were already being launched. The Praetors formed a solid well with the smaller ships filling in the gaps. In most cases, this would’ve been an effective blockade but it was hard to say how long the defenses would hold.

Ryanius wrote:The Byzantines talk for a moment amongst themselves, before a group of Scientists walk out towards the Asaryin, carrying no weapons.

As the new group of Scientists would begin to approach both the Leader and Asun the two of them would look over them, making sure in which they carried no weaponry of any sort, once confirmed to be cleared of weapons The leader would begin to motion for them to follow, heading through the clearing of the forest, in the direction of the closet and most tallest spire.

The trip itself wouldn't take long, and soon enough most of all of them would emerge on the otherside of the forest, from there the leader would motion to Asun seeming to send him off on his way down a dirt pathway before continuing to lead the group further towards and eventually into the spire, once inside the interior of the spire would he quite large and seeming to stretch on for several meters below the surface and above them, to much of their surprise the leader would lead them upwards, until eventually reaching a strange black door

    | From here the leader would point towards the door more specifically towards a series of pictographs detailing their actions they would he asked to do, many of these detailed them kneeling before something larger, this was clearly a different time as the humans seen held basic projectile weaponry |

    | When Prepared they would have to motion to the leader to open the door as he would stand there awaiting their signal, seeming to be on their own past that point. |

The Captain watched as Xelha was introduced. “Awe, aren’t you a little angel. Im Captain Pellian, nice to meet you.” He said happily.

Sion made a sound of disgust as he disappeared off the monitor. He crept towards one side of the Bridge and began contacting Gideon via communicator. “My Lord, we have a bit of a situation. A moon sized ship appeared in one of our sectors. Captain Pellian refuses to take action. How should I proceed?”

“Let the situation run its course. Keep me informed and be alert. We’re officially at war...The Fleets are being assembled and I need you to Command one.” Gideon replied.

“Understood, my Lord...” Sion replied.

Hiei watched carefully and listened carefully as the Captain spoke. The captain seemed far nicer than most NGE citizens and officers of the galactic power. This thought did not cloud her judgement. She knew she was putting over 4 million citizens, as well as herself, Xelha, and her ship in direct danger. She couldnt help but notice the Captain's friendly tone and demeanor towards her and Xelha.

Hiei watched as Sion disappeared off the viewscreen and put her finger on a part of the interface of High Charity, just in case if things were to kick off. "Slipspace drive ready to engage in approximately 100 seconds Ma'am" she heard from her earpiece.
