The reason I originally let this nation die is that my puppets and I were in a password-free, self-contained region. I guess raiders liked the name.

Delta Vega IV wrote:Usually they are. And anyway, it's part of the game.

I was not a willing participant. When I discovered that this was a good place, I stayed instead of trying to get the WA to liberate my meaningless region. Idc if it's part of the game. It's pretty sh*tty to just take a region.

Arclandians are fairly egalitarian in resource distribution with a highly regulated capitalist market to keep corporate wealth interests from becoming more important than the people's best interests. We regularly flip over to socialism when corporations get uppity about their perceived right to strip-mine the people of their earned prosperity or the land of its bounty.

Actually they're +100% on, but if you buy it now during the limited prerelease you can have it months before everyone else and have clinkiest clinks at the party before anybody else! You'll be the talk of the town, so don't wait and BUY IT NOW!!!

Moaning Lisa wrote:That's the problem, Dearie, most regions have no desire to be raided. They are either naïve regions which left executive authority with the WA Delegate, oblivious founders who departed for a while to a different region unaware that the WA Delegate would then become an executive, or a sad little region where the founder has ceased to exist and left the region as a target for invaders.
Incorrect!Yes, it gives the infantile individuals something to do.

You can always create a new region if the founder CTE's. If the community really cares all they need to do is communicate via telegrams and decide on a new founder and region name. Also, you shouldn't go around calling people infantile just because they play a game differently from you. If anything's infantile, calling people infantile's what's infantile. It's dismissive and disrespectful, so maybe don't. No matter whether you actually respect people or not, you shouldn't act disrespectful, because it's a destructive and counterproductive way to communicate that won't manage to achieve or accomplish anything except make the other party dislike you. As a general rule for communicating with people, you should never treat them like you're better than them. Wait a sec... Why does this feel hypocritical? Maybe it's because I called you infantile... Oh well, lol.

French roman republic wrote:you and your Every Villian Is Lemons raider friends (not you just to clear the air) go to a region, and endorse each other like NUTS and become the new WA Delegate. Then you lock the region and kick everyone out and let your raider friends in.

to fight back against it have the WA Delegate (in our case Treadwellia) and other people with border control powers kick out raiders before they get the chance, that is why regional power is important.

It's why every region has rules about endorsing people. The system was likely initially designed so that people would just cast votes for people they think would be good delegates (or something) and the one with the most would get it. Sort of like if you're picking a restaurant to eat at and instead of a vote (where everybody votes for their own choice) you ask everybody if they're okay with each restaurant and you eat at the one the most people are okay with. Unfortunately though, this system is prone to chaos and coups—such as raiding—so most regions have their own system of picking delegate (and usually a title to with it) and then have rules about endorsing the delegate and max endorsements you can have from other people in order to stop a coup. Just in case you weren't aware of all this, which I'm sure you are.
