Cianlandia wrote:A number of things. According to Cianlandia's top theoretical physicists, known within the nation's academia as "Ugh, those people", Tubbius' immense mass being released in the gnawing hunger of the void would have a few possible effects. 1:The sudden introduction of a great quantity of mass would draw in nearby stellar debris, forming a small asteroid. The gravitational pull would increase exponentially, eventually culminating in the creation of a small planetoid. 2: The same things that happened in scenario 1 would occur, however due to Tubbius' strange christmas-time magics, a sudden influx of dark matter would be drawn to Tubbius. This would have unknown effects. 3: Everything that happened in scenarios 1 and 2 would occur in rapid succession. However, particles of dark matter would also be drawn to Tubbius at varying speeds. If the majority of the particles are cold or weak dark matter, a black hole will form. If they are strong, or hot, particles, which interact with each other frequently, a Big bang might occur.
Also, if not wearing the proper space-suit equipment, His Immensity's head would implode from the space's pressure.

I assumed his mass would cause an atmosphere to form around him?

Hello Lazarus.

Edit: Should be starting to work on my fact books today. It will take me a longgg time to complete them all though. Anyways, have a good day everyone!

First of all it is an understement to say the least that we are highly surprise to see a rising merchant nation blatant disregard efficiency, it seems a non sequitur, besides the talk about the oppressive nature of a government it is a non-sense. A region would always have a government, either a public one, the greatest private corporate interest, the nastiest warlord or the highest priest of a cult.
That cannot be changed. What can and must change is the quality of the governance. Besides the disregard for government function, taking even the extreme of Minarchist position, how will you deal with an invader sans an army? The ultimate government position that must be filled.
Even a coalition of mercenary companies are an army and the defense a function of a government, being this declared or implied.

We think you may have misunderstood our nation. The FMB is a haven for corporations who wish to avoid government. As such those who begin to take control and become government like often come down with unfortunate cases of death. Government be it democracy, autocracy, technocracy, or even corporatocracy comes with inherent rules and seeks to control, so it is rumored that certain parties who wish to avoid rules often make use of our perfectly legitimate mercenary agencies to help keep FMB a lawless haven for those who wish to remain ungoverned.
Due to infighting and gang wars we do have various mercenary outfits, but it is unlikely that we could successfully hold off an invasion. A defensive force by the Allied Markets is likely to consist of many small mercenary outfits hired by corporations within our borders and with little communication between them, they will be ineffective. We at the AMIRC have plans to profit off of this eventuality immensely and expect those profits to allow us to ride out the aftermath while we reestablish ourselves. We do not plan to make these plans public due to concerns of our shareholders about winding up dead.
Nevertheless, it is likely that we will need to relocate if we are invaded, so any resistance we do put up will just be stalling for our escape. I suppose that is the problem with having no standing army at a national level, but hopefully nothing large attacks us.
TL;DR
People who are too ambitious get assassinated by those who profit off of the status quo and incase of invasion we run away.

Sorry for the haste but I am in a bit of a hurry. No, I am not mistaking the nature of your nation, we do have known in our long history other examples of AnCap "zones" and their desire to go away from government and ending becoming a new government in everything except the name.
Despite the appeal to novelty despising several government systems, the state of nearly constant low level warfare to avoid one faction to get to far away, and the absolute private nature of the political and economic sphere it has long been known as Feudalism.

Besides small band of mercenaries although as pointed can stall an invasion a determined enemy could wipe out and block the escape route. Luckily there are no militarist nations at present in Lazarus poised to a expansion program right now. Even some of the more weaponized are embroiled in a Civil War in the frozen wastes of the north.
