PM Carola Ticander issues release statement in response to Tribian threats
DARCANIA, CAPITAL DISTRICT
This afternoon, Prime Minister Carola Ticander released a statement addressing threats issued by Tribian dictator Maximus Valdez in response to sanctions enacted by the Artevenian government.
The Prime Minister, in her statement today, addressed the rationale for enacting the sanctions, and further warned "Artevenia will not be bullied by theocratic dictatorships. We can and will address human rights violations everywhere they happen". She further warned that additional sanctions may be enacted in response to such threats.

Yesterday, experimental weapons have been tested by the Artevenian military in an undisclosed location. The weapons tested are currently classified. Artevenia Today has reached out for comment but has not yet received a response.

Thanks, it isn't bad. I was pretty bored, but decided to take a short walk (20 minutes) to forest close to my house, and even saw deer... or doe, I don't know, I forgot my glasses at home. The TV flickers on and they turn to channel 7, the national news channel
"Good evening folks, we sure do have a news story tonight. So let us get started. As you all know, The Tribia has been accused of aiding said coups around the world with nothing to support it except the only connection they made was from Valdezism to Tribia. As Valdezism may be our state religion, this does not mean that we had any hands in these coups. Many times has our great leader, Chancellor Maximus said that he has not partake in these coups. The people who have done so simply follow the religion. And the claims that Artevenia has made have no bearing on us. But they have taken it a step further and enacted sanctions on our great country even though we have done nothing to them. Now this next piece of information may come as a shocker to some and as a game changer to another but will set everyone in The Tribia on edge. We have received information reports from anonymous sources that our military has been testing experimental weapons somewhere. They are said to be weapons that could change the approach to war. Now, we do not yet know-
The feed cuts off and the screen turns static, but 10 seconds later, Maximus Valdez in his office, comes on the screen and begins to speak
Citizens of The Tribia, I do apologize for interrupting that err- great news program but I felt that I could calm down any fears that you might have. It is true we have been testing experimental weapons in an undisclosed location. Now I will niether confirm nor deny that this is in response to Artevenia enacting sanctions on our pure nation. I want to reassure all of you, us Tribians will not stand for such a bully like him. He enacts sanctions because he is afraid of us, our great religion. He hopes that by doing this, it will deter any potential coup in his country. Now, him saying that I have ever abetted in killing government
officials in Biggonia or anywhere else is simply false. I assure you, there is nothing to worry about.
With that the the TV goes static yet again for about another 10 seconds and returns to the news program.

The channel goes static again, but this time, it stays this way. But right before the feed cuts away, you see the news reporter being grabbed and dragged away by a masked figure

Tribian Chancellor, Maximus Valdez responds to statement by the Artevenian PM
Last night, Chancellor Maximus issued a statement to all citizens of The Tribia in response to the threats by Atrevenian PM, Carola Ticander. "The Glorious Land of The Tribia will not be silenced under said sanctions you have forced upon us. It is highly imperative you retract all sanctions you have put upon The Tribia. Otherwise the outcome may be one you have trouble dealing with."
Experimental Weapons Test
Just last evening, Chancellor Maximus also released yet another detail about said weapon testing that has been happening in an undisclosed location. With his generals beside him, he states, "At about 9 PM this evening, we have had our first successful test of this experimental weapon which is now named LR-WPFB 4. We have now begun our 2nd stage tests and will begin to produce more in the best interests for the safety of The Tribia."

Artevenia imposes new sanctions on the Tribia
In response to belligerent rhetoric along with recent weapons tests from the Tribia, the Artevenian government has enacted new sanctions on the Tribia.
Under the new sanctions, export of computer equipment, military equipment, and foodstuffs to the Tribia is prohibited.
Foreign Minister Giuseppe Sirvaniano said regarding the sanctions: "As the Prime Minister reiterated yesterday, Artevenia will not be bullied by dictatorships. We will not tolerate reckless belligerent rhetoric made to deflect from serious human rights violations"
After civil unrest we have made the decision to go back to a confederation
