Marshall ached. Badly. Maybe this new excercise routine wasn't working out. Even his mother had asked him why, but he simply replied "for the girls" or something along the lines, but Marshall knew that wasn't it. He had no good reason; he just wanted to do it. Up at 5:00 A.M., running eight miles, and coming back home was enough to put him to sleep early every night. Normally, he was sore by the end, but today was different. He could feel his legs ready to give out, his knees weak and wobbling as he approached his own home. Even the pain in his arms was heavy and uncontrollable, and so he had no choice but to let them dangle down by his side has he travelled, his former jogging now reduced to an enervated stumble. But he had to keep going, or his streak of 47 consecutive days with this routine would be lost. As he stumbled along, he thought about what he had had for breakfast this morning.
