Statement from the Prime Minister
Oil spill in the Indian Ocean

Ms Dana Frost, the Prime Minister:
"I again express the nations' thanks to out allies and others in the international community for their response to the nuclear aggression of the terrorist regime of Free india-.

Our highest priority, is now the oil slick in the Indian Ocean which could potentially move towards land masses and islands in the region. We will be working with local governments to offer our assistance for beach clean up and wildlife protection.

Having consulted with scientific experts across the world, we have decided that allowing the slick to burn off is the least worst option for environmental protection. This will however release approximately 430,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere, and we will work with the international community to consider how to respond to this once the most urgent work is done.

The Royal Navy task force is now carrying out air sweeps and patrols and all military of the Free india-n military shipping and aircraft will be sunk / shot down without warning within the EEZ of Diego Garcia. And Indian shipping is subject to boarding and searching. We are using British Indian troops and translators to help in this task.

Thank you.

Congress Authorizes 'Operation Starfire'; Military Deployment Begins

WEIHAIWEI — The Executive Committee of the Congress of Peoples has authorized the deployment of military forces to Ladakh in an emergency session last night, following the recent spate of aggression and violence which has saw the FEUSSR invoke Article 4 of the GSA Treaty.

    > HSI slides amidst news of military intervention
    > Patel puppets burnt in public event, Indian embassy egged
    > Rumours of PDF personnel cutbacks unfounded, says Minister of Defence

The deployment action, known to the public as Operation Starfire, will see 20,000 PDF personnel shift their operations to the region. This move was preceded by an anti-radiation attack on local military sensors, succesfully knocking out air surveillance and air defence radars. The Xiyu SSR People's government, which seconded the deployment, shall provide for the necessary logistical arrangements. The deployed force consists of the Gan Jun, alongside air superiority elements of the PDF Air Defence Force.

PDF personnel crossed the border into Free india- this morning, disarming outnumbered border checkpoints and securing a series of mountain roads. Clashes were reported in Gogra, Merak, Panamik, and Tegar, where forward elements of the PDF engaged pro-Patel forces in the FEUSSR's first high-altitude engagement in decades. The intense clashes saw the PDF dislodge Indian defensive positions through airstrikes and heavy artillery fire, prompting a slow withdrawal which lasted throughout the afternoon. Military police units within the expeditionary force performed door-to-door sweeps upon securing the villages by nightfall. 12 suspected pro-Patel sympathisers, along with local administrative staff, were detained.

The PDFGF has also confirmed the deployment of the 2nd Special Information Group (SIG), the PDF special force's cyberwarfare formation. It is currently involved in the hacking and taking down of websites, doxxing of high value targets, and the interception of communications to be used for the PDFGF's advantage. As of 2pm today, the 2SIG announced the launching of several successful DDOS attacks on major websites, including the Central Party's website and several Ministry-level sites. Other operations include the email spoofing of known Patel associates to deliver spam to over 5,000,000 email addresses located within Free india-.

PRI shoots down helicopter, kills 3

By Li Baijin
4 minute read

LADAKH — The PRI has announced the successful shootdown of a PDFGF helicopter last night, killing 3 and injuring 3 civilians in an unprecedented armed action against wider combat efforts under Operation Starfire.

The helicopter was a Z-11 utility helicopter that was tasked with performing aerial photography missions. The 3 crew members onboard were part of a larger formation tasked with apprehending pro-Patel holdouts in the village of Shayok, following a PDFGF thrust south towards the Pangong Tso. They were meant to provide aerial support to a group of PDF soldiers on the ground, who have been performing a series of raids on residential buildings over the past week to interrogate pro-Patel affiliates and search properties for dangerous weapons.

The PDF unit in question began to take fire at around 2PM following the conclusion of a successful raid where 3 fighters were disarmed. Preliminary reports and body camera footage indicate the gunfire came from an anti-air detachment hidden in the mountains. The soldiers returned fire, but the terrain prevented them from advancing speedily. The PDF unit called for backup and were buttressed by a team of 4 MOI-PImmS border patrol officers.

The crew on the helicopter were flown to assess the situation and provide real-time information to troops on the ground. A second helicopter, this time a Z-20, was dispatched from the Xiyu SSR. The second helicopter was equipped with air-deployable drones and 8 air-to-surface missiles.

While hovering over the scene of the engagement, the Z-11 received a barrage of tracer rounds from the enemy unit. The pilot lost control of the aircraft attempting to avoid the stream of fire, causing it to hit airborne debris and spin out of control. It crashed onto a mountain road, injuring 3 civilians who were in motor vehicles at the time. The Z-20 engaged the hostile elements on the rooftop with its missiles and suppressed the threat. Two more Z-20 helicopters were sent out as reinforcements to secure the rooftop and reconnoiter the area. 4 PRI fighters were killed in the engagement.

According to the crew of the second helicopter, the Z-11 had cartwheeled across the ground on impact. It rolled into the torrential waters of the Shyok River shortly after. Soldiers and PImmS officers rushed to the wrecked helicopter, some 100 metres away from the site of engagement, finding that the helicopter came to rest on its left side. All 3 crew members were killed.

A replacement helicopter has been procured by the PDF's Equipment Management Office to replace the downed helicopter.

Turco-Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

The government of Turco-Bulgaria is appalled by the recent actions taken by Premier Ankan Patel of Free india-. Premier Patel has recklessly launched two nuclear missiles near inhabited islands, showing the Premier’s lack of regard for human life. The government has also shot down a boat carrying civilian refugees from India to Sri Lanka. Such an attack on unarmed civilians is a crime against humanity and should be condemned. News reports and investigations into the implementation of Indian socialism, have shown evidence that the government of India’s rhetoric of worker’s rights is empty, as thousands of Indians are forced to work in near-slavery conditions. As a socialist state, Turco-Bulgaria must condemn such conditions, and urge the Central Party of the PRI to enforce workplace democracy and labour rights.

Due to the aforementioned reasons, the government of Turco-Bulgaria will therefore be initiating economic sanctions against the Indian government. The government of Turco-Bulgaria believes that Premier Patel has overstepped his power as Premier, and is not acting in the best interest of the Indian people as the leader of a People’s Republic should. The government of Turco-Bulgaria condemns Patel and his top officials for their killings of unarmed civilians (whether intentional or not), irresponsible use of weapons of mass destruction, restriction of freedom of movement, and their failure to protect the rights of the Indian proletariat despite being a self-proclaimed socialist state.

The government of Turco-Bulgaria would like to express that it stands with the residents of the Chagos Islands (administered by British Crown Commonwealth) and the those of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands who are likely to be affected by the nuclear fallout caused by Patel’s reckless launching of nuclear warheads. Consequently, the government of Turco-Bulgaria will be delivering a sum of Lev equivalent to 2 billion USD to each of the two archipelagos, as well as medical aid and personnel trained specifically to deal with damage caused by nuclear fallout. The government of Turco-Bulgaria will be requesting that the government of British Commonwealth allow its shipment of aid and medical personnel to the Chagos Islands.

Finally, the government of Turco-Bulgaria will be opening its borders to any and all Indian refugees. The government of Turco-Bulgaria does not blame the Indian people, those responsible for these events are only Premier Patel and his top officials. The Turco-Bulgarian government will be spending 3 billion USD in humanitarian aid to help Indian refugees and asylum seekers. Any Indian refugee is welcome to come to Turco-Bulgaria, whether temporarily or permanently, and the state will its best to provide for them in terms of healthcare, housing, finding work, and other state services. Turco-Bulgaria will maintain its open borders, especially in times of crisis, as it is the responsibility of a nation dedicated to socialist internationalism to provide for the people of the world—not only its own citizens.

CLASSIFIED MESSAGE—Correspondence from one Comrade to another:

To: Comrade A. Gandhi
From: Comrade A. Zelenov

Comrade, I have decided to write to you due to the recent events with the People’s Republic of India, and the recent actions of your Premier. This man can not be allowed to taint the image and revolutionary ideals of socialism with bloodlust. Not only that, from what you have told us, Patel has acted against the very ideals of socialism—acting directly against the rights guaranteed to the working class and forcing the Indian proletariat to work in terrible conditions to fuel his militaristic exploits. Such a man is no communist, he is a capitalist. To claim the ideas of socialism while at the same time employing near-slavery conditions to fuel one’s own selfish pursuit of power, is the action of only the worst of the exploitative class. That is why I come to you with a proposition. I understand, that there is a popular anti-Patel movement supported by the West. I wish them success in their liberation struggle against Patel, but also am wary of the possibility that capitalism will fail to fix the conditions that the Indian working-class face. I believe that while a new liberal democracy may improve conditions such as freedom of speech and democracy, it will undoubtedly fail the working-class as the system of capitalism is built on the pursuit of profit not the rights of the proletariat. This is why, I have come to offer you aid against Patel. We are able to supply what you may need for such an operation. If you accept this offer, you will be delivered these devices as soon as possible. I trust that you will lead the People’s Revolution against Patel’s treason against the Indian people well, my friend. It will not only be a victory for the Indian people but for the socialist world as whole if you and the true communists within Central Party help overthrow Patel and try him for his crimes. You and I both know that the anti-communists will work to blame this on socialist ideals and Marxism, when the reality is that the fault is in Patel and his sycophants, his corruption, and his seizing of power and overturning of democracy. Patel’s betrayal of the working-class may be used to denounce socialism as a whole by the anti-communist nations. However, if you and your followers rally the working-class of India, give India back to the People, cooperate with the provisional government in creating a democratic India which is run "by the people, for the people", emancipate the proletariat from Patel’s authoritarian capitalism, and implement socialism; I doubt anyone can claim that socialism is responsible for Patel’s crimes without being laughed out of the room. If you lead the Central Party dissidents and other leftists to help overthrow Patel, I think it all two likely that the new Indian Republic will likely remain socialist—or if not, have a strong leftist presence. The internationalism and solidarity of socialist parties, nations, and between us individuals is why I offer this aid. There are no expectations for repayment, seeing the liberation of the working-class of India rise up against Patel and re-implement socialism is reward enough, Comrade.

She then responded to Rayyan. “That is great to hear. If you could pull a few strings for us, well I would be most grateful. We are actually also interested in purchasing some private property here, something like what you kindly facilitated for Mr. Sanguinetti. PDF seizes control of strategic Siachen Glacier

LADAKH — The PDF has wrestled control of the Siachen Glacier from Free india- following a daring operation, delivering to the PDF a decisive early advantage which could set the pace of conflict for the months to come.

    > PDF summits Skyampoche Ri and Saser Kangri
    > Market bounces back amidst military successes, but investors still worried
    > The Murgo-Sasoma roadway: Asia's new Highway of Death

The operation was performed by the PDFGF's Mountain Rangers, a special forces formation that is geared towards high-altitude combat. Advance forces were helicoptered in from Daulat Beg Oldi (DBO) directly to the glacier, followed by later reinforcements who were paradropped onto the Rimo Massif. The later force trekked to their objectives. Heavier supplies, such as vehicles, were concurrently airdropped to DBO from Y-20 and Il-76 aircraft, where they would be redistributed to frontline forces via vertical replenishment. Additional reinforcements in anticipation of a counterattack came by land through the Karakoram Pass.

The Mountain Rangers climbed for four days to secure four objectives: the Saltoro Ridge, Sia La, Bilafond La, and Gyong La.

The largest confrontation was near Bilafond La, where the IPA held a military post at an altitude of 6,200 meters. The position was extremely difficult to attack, as it was surrounded by ice walls over 400 meters high with 80-85° inclinations on three sides. These difficulties were compounded by the lack of oxygen at high altitudes and the hostile weather, which gave way to frequent snowstorms. The clashes at Bilafond La were handled by a team of 70 Rangers, 12 of whom would never return, and 18 of whom were injured.

The team of 70 relied on Z-20 helicopters to ferry themselves and their supplies to their positions. The team made multiple attempts to scale the ice walls but were repulsed by bad weather and entrenched IPA forces. The limited number of helicopters which could perform the mission also placed logistical bottlenecks on the team, particularly when they were fired upon by IPA forces. The Rangers conspicuously lacked heavy weapons such as recoilless rifles and shoulder-fired weapons to even the playing field. This shortfall was partially compensated by the availability of close air support in the form of UCAVs and various multirole fighters. However, the risk of avalanche and friendly fire prevented their full deployment - over 18 sorties were performed by the PDFAF, but only 3 saw the deployment of munitions against the enemy.

Renewed attacks began one night later, supported by autocannon fire from a squadron of J-10 fighters. The Rangers made good progress initially, but lost their fire support from the J-10s for fear of friendly fire. The attack had to be abandoned after the IPA capitalized on this shortfall and mounted a counterattack.

The matter was resolved when the Rangers evacuated the area after the fourth night and subjected it to relentless airstrikes from UCAVs employing conventional bombs and air-to-surface missiles. 12 sorties saturated the Indian positions from altitudes of 8,000 meters before being flown back to DBO. A decisive assault was mounted afterwards, masking their movements amidst heavy snow. The IPA post near Bilafond La was captured with a token resistance, thus completing the PDF's capture of Siachen Glacier.

The seizure of the Glacier provides for the FEUSSR a new avenue of attack down the Nubra Valley, which is currently contested by IPA holdouts at a 40-kilometer length of road between Murgo and Sasoma, and opens the possibility of a direct attack along the length of the Nubra River towards the regional capital of Leh. The opportunity to place air defences and radars on the Glacier unmolested would furthermore allow the PDF to monitor all IPA air traffic in Ladakh, all but guaranteeing the PDF's unrivalled aerial superiority in the region.

However, the successful operation was not without problem. Bottlenecks in the PDF's high-altitude capabilities had arguably contributed to a slower pace of movement than anticipated, which gave Free india- several opportunities to counterattack which was exploited to their full measure. One notable problem concerned the availability of mission-suitable aircraft for this mission. The attack at Bilafond La revealed crushing supply weaknesses in the PDFGF's high-altitude helicopter fleet: almost all of the PDFGF's helicopters were incapable of reaching the high altitudes required for the mission, limiting would be the Z-20, of which the PDFGF had only 30. This severely limited the combat efficiency of the Rangers at the mountain pass.

The PDF has learned these lessons through the blood of its brave heroes. It will undoubtedly adapt to the situation, reform and evolve its tactics, and be ready to face Free india- at a position of advantage in the coming days.

Patel lashes out at "False Communists" as rebels overrun Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh

The Indian People's Army has retreated to fortify New Delhi as rebels push towards Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Alleged casualties so far:
PRI: 4,000 dead + 13,000 captured. 14 vessels sunk and 213 planes destroyed or shot down. Around 500 trucks and APCs destroyed, with 91 tanks lost in action or bombed.
Rebel factions: 1,900 dead + 3,000 captured. 3 tanks destroyed, 130 vehicles lost. 9 planes shot down.

Premier Patel slammed the FEUSSR for a "gross betrayal of the Communist cause" after Chinese forces entered Kashmir and Jammu. A non-nuclear missile was allegedly launched at Shanghai, but shot down by rebel air defence. Attacks on refugee boats have also increased with three more boats sunk by the People's Navy.
President Sharma appealed to Central Party dissidents for their support, saying: "As one the Indian people must unite, and topple Patel."
Congressman Abhinav Gandhi was reported missing, but appeared alongside President Sharma at 3pm, as Karnataka switched to the rebel cause. He quoted in a televised address; "The cause of Communism must not be tainted by Patel and his false supporters."

Shortly after Goa and Maharashtra reported increased airstrikes from Karnataka.

Ankara Threatens Harsher Action against Kurds

Despite the joint operations carried out between Turkiye and Saudi Arabia against Kurdish controlled regions, President Akbas has said that Saudi Arabia has not gone far enough and that a more forceful response is necessary. In one statement Akbas lamented that "America must understand the consequences of its actions. It must understand that when it plays with fire, people will get burned." When asked about his comments, Akbas doubled down and insisted that more strikes were needed because doing so would make others in the Middle East to reconsider pursuing relations with the 'imperialist' west.

Rumors have begun to spread that Akbas has been considering sending Turkish forces into sovereign Saudi Arabian territory but spokesmen for the president have called such rumors to be "propaganda" being spread by the president's critics to further discredit him. However, President Akbas himself has yet to deny these claims or make any public comment to the contrary. Some have gone so far as to criticize President Akbas' recent actions as nothing more than him using the threat of war to distract from his slipping poll numbers in the wake of him softening his hardline religious extremist bonafides in support of his daughter acknowledging she is in an openly gay relationship with Isabella De Luca of Rome.

Murmansk — A bombing incident which left two dead and fifteen people seriously injured in the Petrozavodsk International Airport this morning was "one of a series of acts of terrorism committed by the Venaja People's Republic Liberation Force communist insurgents in Venaja within the span of a week, as per intelligence reports," Defence Ministry spokesperson Helena Selänne said in a statement.

The Petrozavodsk bombing incident was the most serious and recent as of publishing. Two days ago, a car bomb exploded in the entrance of Murmansk State Technical University, killing one woman. The VPRLF claimed responsibility for the attacks, and has demanded that Helsinki return the state of Venaja to the Soviet Union. The Ministry of Defence has said that it has no intel to prove that the Soviet Union is involved with the insurgents' actions, and it believes that the VPRLF is carrying out these attacks on their own accord.

President Trelles and Foreign Minister Laine has reached out to Soviet ambassador Viktor Chunakov for comment and the USSR's stance regarding the attacks. Trelles has also urged the USSR to participate with Cruesnian investigations for the VPRLF's actions.

Helsinki is reportedly considering declaring martial law in Venaja to restore order. In the meantime, the Venaja State Police Office has ordered heightened police presence in public places throughout the state to maintain security.

Office of the Prime Minister of the Union of Aozhou

Statement on Recent Nuclear Tests in Indian Ocean

Prime Minister Nathaniel Liew and the Government of the Union of Aozhou strongly condemns the recent nuclear warhead detonation off the coast of the Chagos Islands and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. These tests are a flagrant violation of British sovereignty that inflames tensions in the region and is detrimental to the maintenance of peace. Furthermore, these tests have potential to cause untold and irreparable damage to ecological systems, wildlife, and human health throughout the entire region bordering the Indian Ocean, including Southeast Asia and the western shores of Aozhou, which is of immediate interest to the Government of Aozhou.

The Aozhou Defense Forces, in conjunction with the Aozhou Government, are monitoring the situation and will continue to provide assistance and information to Aozhouse citizens in New Holland, Darwin, and the northwest shore of the Central Aboriginal Territories on radiation detected in the region. The Government of Aozhou will be reaching out and coordinating further responses to this dangerous provocation with our allies in the Commonwealth and with our close ASEON partner, Indonesia (Eulumia).

PDF repositions, attack on Leh imminent

              __________

Sasoma-Saser La Road termed the new "Highway of Death".

              __________

Two pincers ready to strike regional capital.

              __________

The PDF has broken through an IPA stranglehold on the road between Sasoma and Saser La after a gruelling four days counter-insurgency campaign, sending pro-Patel forces into retreat.

However, in Ladakh, two wars are being waged in parallel: the real one and the virtual one. The victory in Sasoma, while a large morale boost to expeditionary forces, shows one thing: that Jiangning should not discount the possibility that this intervention become a static war of attrition.

What was supposed to be a lightning campaign which would see the PDF quickly punch through Kashmir and liberate Himachal Pradesh has shuddered to a halt, crippled at the Sasoma-Saser La Road by unprecedented resistance. This road is one of the two reliable roadways across the Saser Muztagh which link the PDF's forward operating base at Daulat Beg Oldi (DBO) to the Nubra Valley, where resistance has largely been flattened and PDF troops are preparing a final advance on Leh with the 3rd Combined Army of The united indian front. Its vital importance as a transit and supply link has made it the perfect target for good reason.

IPA forces have in recent days launched counter-attacks, sometimes with spectacular results, using the road as a focal point for their attacks. Three days ago, a supply convoy traversing the road was struck with rocket-propelled grenades from fighters hiding on the rugged mountainsides. Two days ago, a trio of ZTQ-15 light tanks were damaged by improvised rockets, causing them to turn back and delaying an assault on a IPA-held settlement for hours. The PDFAF resorted to airlifting and airdropping supplies near controlled settlements such as Diskit and Khalsar, while ground troops cordoned off the Road to pick off cells of resistance one by one.

The lengthy fight at the Road has led it to be named the "New Highway of Death", as it remains the PDF's most costliest operation in Ladakh to this date. 121 personnel were killed at the Road.

However, the Road's capture is not without a silver lining. With IPA forces neutralized in the area, the stream of reinforcements and supplies to Ladakh has doubled. The PDF has doubled its manpower pool from 20,000 to 40,000.

PDF forces now control all territory north of the Nubra river, Shyok river, and the Pangong Tso. It has set plans to capture a roughly 2,200 km² triangular sector of land sandwiched between the two rivers, thus closing the distance to Leh. Drones have already scouted the settlements of Turtuk, Bogdang, Hundar, and Skuru, and the PDFGF has reportedly begun its takeover of the area since last night. Upon seizing the triangle, PDF movements will be even smoother as it will be able to utilize the river to ferry troops and supplies across the vast battlefield.

The critical points of Durbuk, Sakti, and Khardung have also been seized following repeated engagements with the IPA this morning, which killed 2 and wounded 22. The fights were token and quick, with the likelihood of victory drastically skewed towards the FEUSSR thanks to the availability of close air support, the presence of air surveillance materiel at the Siachen Glacier, and local collaborators.

The prospect of a long, drawn-out conflict has forced top military leaders to reassess how they may approach high-altitude guerrilla warfare over the longer term and how they might respond if Free india- tries to regain the initiative in Ladakh. This culminated in a three day-long closed conference at the Whampoa Military Academy in Wuyangcheng, in which over a hundred specialists, including doctors and psychologists, came together to discuss future plans on improving combat efficiency.

The campaign to Leh is expected to take place along two pincers: one from Sakti and Durbuk to Hemis, and one from Khardung straight towards Leh. The Sakti approach is poised to cut off a potential southern path of retreat for the IPA. The northern path of retreat to Kargil and Sringar is likely to be risky as well, following the deployment of Weishi (WS) multiple launch rocket systems. The WS systems, which have a range of over 180 kilometers, allow the PDF to direct attacks from safe areas at the chokepoints of Khalsi, Nyemo, and Alchi.

Already we are seeing signs of faltering at Leh. Guided rocket attacks from advance forces have prompted thousands to flee south. Unverified reports of desertion have also spread among social media. However, with Leh being the city it is, there are some who think the challenge is not taking it, but rather clearing it out.

Ministry of Defense - Establishment of a no-fly zone

Due to the recent attack on refugees around Sri Lanka; the Imperial Japanese Navy, British Royal Navy, and the United States Navy will be establishing a no-fly zone over Sri Lanka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Laccadive Sea, and Gulf of Mannar. The no-fly zone is to protect humanitarian efforts and innocent civilians from Patel’s regime. All Indian military aircraft will not be permitted to fly in the zone and will be shot down, and as a preventative measure the Imperial Japanese Navy, British Royal Navy, and United States Navy will be conducting missile strikes against radars and anti-air missile systems.

              NH 3 wrecked, Leh isolated

LADAKH — Thousands of soldiers from Free india- are finding themselves stranded in Ladakh after the PDF crippled vital roads with a series of ballistic missile attacks, effectively cutting off all hopes of speedy resupply and exfiltration.

The PDFGF launched strikes on the NH 3, rendering the route unusable south of Meroo and effectively isolating Ladakh from the rest of Free india-. IPA forces attempting to retreat south to Himachal Pradesh will either have to brave the unforgiving terrain on foot, or drive 13 hours northwest to Srinagar for refuge. Videos and photographs posted on social media showed mountainous portions of the highway completely destroyed or otherwise blocked in with rubble.

Aerial photography suggests the PDFGF had deployed the SY-400, which is capable of launching 2 BP-21A short-range ballistic missiles at a range of over 400 kilometers. Two units were supposedly deployed at Daulat Beg Oldi (DBO).

The FEUSSR is planning to capture the regional capital of Leh in what is easily the PDF's first major military operation, following Free india-'s attempted nuclear attack on GSA ally Eulumia. The operation has so far been a major success for the PDF, with only a few concerted pockets of resistance at Bilafond La and Saser La.
