Have you watched the series The boys, where is Homelander?

It is not DC actually

I don't believe there's anything too complicated going on. For any of the metrics, it boils down to:

1) Select decisions on issues that increase the metric, and don't select decisions that reduce it
2) ...consistently, every time the issue comes up
3) ...for a long time (less time, if you answer frequently, since issues stop accumulating once there are 5 in the queue).

And doing better on one of those parts can somewhat make up for not doing as well on the others. Compare Flibblers (nation=flibblers/detail=trend/censusid=46) to Bedetopia (nation=bedetopia/detail=trend/censusid=46), who has the largest defense forces in the world. Flibblers has been around quite a bit longer, but Bedtopia's clearly identified which decisions increase defense forces and selects those every single time, whereas Flibblers usually makes decisions that increase spending, but selects others that decrease it, so Bedtopia's managed to pull well into the lead.

Hello my children

I asked awhile ago if any older Antarctican resident would like to take over map duties, but I don't think anyone was interested.

I will try and update later today.

Greetings Fellow Antarcticans -

We hope you are all enjoying the glorious summer. The map has been updated by the Department of the Interior, as has the census. As a region, both our Population and Regional GRP went up, although our GRP per Capita slightly fell.

Please note, this is the map from the link in the WFE to my factbook, not the maps link. I will try and update that one, but its in a pain.

It seems the Regional Maps feature isn't working well in terms of convenience. I just wished NationStates could create a version of OpenStreetMap, but at the moment (if I recall correctly) OpenStreetMap currently has a problem with vandals simply creating a new account to get around being blocked from editing OpenStreetMap, due to the limited moderation capabilities of the software that powers OpenStreetMap.

Congrats to Fiah on winning the rather random Best Nation in the World for Antarctica =)

Interesting Fact, this is the 3rd time this has run, and the top 5 in all three years were always different nations.

Hello, all!

As the last few times, our Polar faction is up and running again for N-day with all our antipodal friends welcome to join! Unless you actually want to win or something... then go for literally any other faction.

If anyone wants to take the lead and coordinate the missile exchange, you're also more than welcome to. I see you have a General of the Grand Army and whatnot.

(Joop & Voltarum - as before, feel free to supress post if you're making your own or otherwise disapprove.)

Sadly, I have to pass up on N-Day, because Pingu is a nuclear-free zone all year round, and to be honest, it is so easy to be nuked into oblivion by the so-called superfactions.

Sigh, don't people have better things to do? lol

Hi all! Just checking in as Forest's new MoFA, wanted to say hi and express my sympathy for the loss of ice around your lovely continent. I'm sure it'll comes back... *cries*

But while I'm here...

As someone who's been in charge of coordinating N-Day (against my will) three(.5) times now that its frequency has been duplicated, I can honestly say that aside from the last-minute joke highlights and beating HotA to the ground in a smoldering fireball, I actually preferred sending 1k telegrams manually in one day. (Both times.)

But if the answer to your question wasn't evident in how I've spent my own life, short answer is: nope.

Jutsa wrote:*snip*: nope.

Oh.

Wow. They really were timing that one to the day, too. OK that's kinda sad ;p
