We, the sovereign nations of the Meiopi Alliance, establish this Constitution to promote and ensure peace, stability, and prosperity among our member nations. We are committed to improving trade, defense, diplomacy, and the economies of all member nations. We recognize that our common interests and shared values require unity and cooperation.

Article I: Membership

1.1 Any sovereign nation may apply for membership in the Meiopi Alliance.
1.2 Membership is open to nations that share the values of democracy, human rights, and free market principles.
1.3 A unanimous vote by all member nations is required for the ascension of a new member.
1.4 Any member nation may voluntarily withdraw from the alliance by notifying the Secretariat in writing.
1.5 A member may be expelled from the alliance for any reason, so long as a unanimous vote to do so is reached.

Article II: Governance

2.1 The Meiopi Alliance shall be governed by a Secretariat consisting of one representative from each member nation.
2.2 The Secretariat shall be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the alliance, including the implementation of decisions made by the member nations.
2.3 The Secretariat shall make decisions based on consensus among the member nations.

Article III: Objectives

3.1 The Meiopi Alliance is dedicated to promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond.
3.2 The alliance shall promote free and fair trade among member nations, with the aim of increasing economic growth and prosperity for all.
3.3 The alliance shall cooperate on defense matters, including joint military exercises, intelligence sharing, and defense procurement.
3.4 The alliance shall engage in diplomatic efforts to promote peace, stability, and security in the region and beyond, including through dialogue, mediation, and conflict prevention.
3.5 The alliance shall promote economic development and cooperation among member nations, with the aim of reducing poverty, promoting sustainable development, and enhancing economic resilience.

Article IV: Open Borders

4.1 The Meiopi Alliance encourages open borders between member nations, with the aim of facilitating the free movement of people, goods, and services.
4.2 Member nations shall cooperate to ensure the free movement of goods, services, capital, and people within the alliance, while respecting national sovereignty and security concerns.
4.3 All member nations shall have the right to close their borders with other member states in case of risk to national security
4.4 The alliance shall work to eliminate barriers to trade and investment among member nations, including through the harmonization of rules and regulations.

Article V: Collective Defense

5.1 The Meiopi Alliance is committed to collective defense, with the aim of deterring aggression and protecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all member nations.
5.2 If any member nation is attacked, it shall be considered an attack on all member nations, and the alliance shall take collective action, including military action if necessary, to defend the attacked member nation.
5.3 The decision to take collective action shall be made by consensus among the member nations, taking into account the nature and scope of the threat, the principles of international law, and the broader strategic context.
5.4 Any conflict between member nations of the alliance is prohibited, and in case of war, the member nations involved shall be disciplined with a temporary or permanent suspension, to which action can only be applied if a unanimous consensus among member nations not involved is reached.

Article VI: Amendments

6.1 This Constitution may be amended by a unanimous vote of all member nations.
6.2 Any proposed amendment shall be submitted in writing to the Secretariat at least six months prior to the vote, and shall require the approval of at least two-thirds of the member nations.
6.3 Any amendment shall become effective only after it has been ratified by all member nations.

We, the sovereign nations of the Meiopi Alliance, pledge to uphold this Constitution and work together to achieve our common goals. We recognize that our success depends on our ability to cooperate, to respect each other's sovereignty, and to act in the best interests of all member nations. We affirm our commitment to democracy, human rights, free markets, and the rule of law, and we will work together to promote these values both within our alliance and in the broader international community. As we embark on this journey together, we acknowledge that there may be challenges and disagreements along the way. However, we are committed to resolving our differences peacefully, through dialogue and negotiation, and to ensuring that our alliance remains strong, resilient, and effective in pursuing our shared objectives. We invite other like-minded nations to join us in this endeavor, and we pledge to work together with all nations that share our commitment to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond.
