Yes, it is - this little corner of NS has been here since March 2003.
You must know all the ancient nations! I've been travelling since 2004.
Nationstates is so vast though, sometimes I look at the security council awards and it says this nation has done so much for the game but despite being around a long time and visiting a lot of regions I've never heard of them

But yeah, there's so many people on this site, some of which have been around longer then I've been on the internet. Maybe one day, the vastness won't seem so large, but for now, I'm pretty happy I can travel through this site with it's thousands of corners, meet amazing people, and learn a bit of NS history along the way.
Maybe it's less about how long one's been around than what one has done. I joined the game in mid 2005 but I've always been idleness personified. Until maybe a couple of years ago, when two nations of mine were created regional officers and I started taking things a bit more seriously.
And it's a real privilege to be with Travelling Region. Even when we are unwelcomed visitors and we get something like
GTF out of here.
(by "GTF" I mean Get The Flock, of course.)
I do know a lot of them. One time I even got to hang out with Maxtopia... in real life.
