I gonna take a long nap, all this excitement has made me sleepy.

Hi guys,
I'm just checking out regions tagged 'Future-Tech', was wondering if you would be interested in setting up embassies and starting some future-tech roleplay?
My main is Jamastai from Omnia. We started about two years ago but I took a break from the game and now I'm back.

Let me know if you guys are keen :)

Gomez: Just dropping by to say hello.

Didn’t know when I first visited here with my wife two days ago it was on the heels of an invasion. Glad you’re no longer under the heel... of the proverbial *boot*. [Chuckles before continuing] Probably why nobody acknowledged our introduction on the RMB—wary we were spies. Guess Morticia and I kinda resemble *Boris and Natasha*. [Chuckle]

Thought maybe you don’t see dead people. [Chuckles again]

Invasions are far behind us. Genghis Khan Addams... Attila Addams ...

Bet you didn’t know Genghis was the first *green* leader. Regrowth of forest after the razing of villages. [Grins before continuing] And, many Addams emigrated to Europe among Attila’s marauding hordes. [Grins]

Nice to be able to hop over now without having to *move* in order to post on the region’s RMB. [Grin]

Gomez: Oh! And... the white flag. Surrender. Great idea! Takes the challenge away from the thought in the mind of a potential intruder—a very Addams way of thinking; we must have relatives here. [Grins]

Puts in mind Ulysses S. Addams. Signed his surrender at Vicksburg with invisible ink. Moments later the signature disappeared ..and so did he! Pricked a finger with the pen. [Grin]

Gomez: At the risk of looking like I’m spamming, just want to clarify: I meant nobody *replied to* our intro; we did get a *like* from one member. Didn’t want that to go unacknowledged. [Grins]

Greetings NationStates!

I am a representative of the region Warschauer Pakt, and the region would greatly appreciate it if anyone who is reading this would consider joining. The region was only founded a few days ago, so please excuse its small size. Thank you for reading, and we hope to see you there.

Hi, I just had to kick you from the region to minimize the chances for a raid until the founder is back. It wasn't against you or your region, and not because of this post. You only arrived at the wrong time.

Looking forward to the embassy with you. See you then.

Hope your nap was good.

There is a high chance that I will have to eject you from the region too, within the next few hours.

If not, I suggest we delay the decision at least until either Leppikania or better Embassy master is back.

If those two don't show up for a long time, we could sign you up earlier if one of us declares he will reverse potential harm (ie. cancel the closing of 1800 embassies).

Those jobs look anyway for long term commitment. Thus, I hope you don't mind waiting a bit longer. In the meantime, you could tell us something about you or nap again.

I'd like to shout out a big thanks to A Goblinoid Merchant and The magical puppet for their fantastic teamwork. By taking turns as Delegate, they were able to share the work, and make the region secure. It was a task no-one could have done alone. Well done guys, that's great achievement. I look forward to seeing this region continue to thrive.

Hi, I've sent an embassy request to your region. I'm not sure how many people from here will join in the RP, but we'd love to hear updates from you from time to time!

Gomez: You’re referring to the earliest so-called “reality tv” risen in the 1960’s (I call them public home movies. Home movies made public). Our friends, the Munsters and we Addams were pioneers of the genre. [Grins before continuing] You might easily mistake us for them and vice versa. Crows of a feather ... [grins]

Yo, thanks The magical puppet for your collaboration. Thanks again the defenders for fighting back the raiders last week. Thanks to Captain lard of Lardyland for WA support. However greatest thanks to you, The Manipulation of Wild Puppet for your excellent manipulation... I mean guidance from the background throughout the last days of insecurity. Oh, and thanks to August for writing really informative dispatches about influence points and so. I'm not a good reader but luckily others are.

Yes, things are going swimmingly.
Between you and I, the real reason we're serving these is because the kitchen is still out of service from last week's events. We hope to be serving canapes again soon.

You are right, actually I'm not sure if my faint memories refer to you or the Munsters? It is long ago that the world was all in black and white and shades of grey.

Nowadays you guys have for sure your own YouTube channel? I gonna check that out.

Oh, we had a functional kitchen? O didn't know that. And I was feeding on the leftovers in the pantries of all the closed down embassies here over the last 2 years...

I wonder how many embassies really closed in this region already, due to all those ceasing regions and raids. Maybe more than currently open? Or is that an overestimation?

Now there's an interesting question.

Our history shows 180 pages, each of which contains 100 events. So 18,000 events in total. Most of these will be embassies either opening or closing. 1,800 of these will be from opening the embassies we have just now. To make the maths easy, lets say there were 200 non-embassy related events. Of the remaining 16,000 events, half must be Embassy openings, and half must be closings. So maybe 8,000 have been closed.
Of course, there will be some duplicate regions in there, where embassies have been closed and then re-opened.
There may well be flaws in my reasoning - please point them out.
But 8,000. That's a lot!

*applause*

I don't know if there are flaws in your reasoning but I'm already impressed! By your calculations and the result!

*more applause*

Edit (not a real Edit): I strongly assume this region holds the record for most closed embassies too.And that without ever getting fully raided and without actively closing any embassy.

Edit 2 (also not a real Edit): maybe The Embassy actively closed some embassies for one or the other reason?

Edit 3 (a real Edit):
21st century rome has send me this:

Hello, greetings from your embassy in 21FCR!

It's that time of year when we throw a multiregional competition to celebrate our regional birthday (and it's our 5th one. O.o My how time flies)

If you could share this dispatch with your region either through a regional announcement telegram or just on the RMB/Discord if you have one, that would be greatly appreciated.

This year, we're offering 2 registration methods for regions who want to participate:

  1. Centralized Registration - If people send me a telegram with the application at the bottom of the dispatch, I'll do my best to match them with a team. If you aren't interested in getting your region to participate but you want to give people a chance to participate if they want to, this is probably the better one

  2. Regional Registration - If you want to ensure your region has a team, think your region is likely to have high participation, or think you could make better team matches than I could (or want an admin team or something similar), you can make your own application for your region and send that out too. Just be sure to include the rules about no internet/friends/etc. Just submit to me the team list and any leftover nations to add to multiregional team(s). If you're doing this method, if you reply and let me know, I'll give you a reminder to send me the list a day before registration closes if you haven't already sent it. Teams should be 3 people. Applications must be sent from you to me by September 27th at 11:59 PM EST. Set your own regional application deadline appropriately.

Here is the dispatch with details:
page=dispatch/id=1093054

Please confirm receipt of this telegram and whether you are the correct person to contact about this. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

To everyone:

Greetings, all!
It's almost that time of year again, when we invite all our embassy allies to participate in our birthday games. The plan is to start on September 29th with the drawing day, and hold the birthday games for a week, ending on the regional birthday on the 6th. Activities for this year:

  • Pictionary-like competition

  • Trivia

  • Logic + Maths

  • Song recognition

  • Easter Pineapple Hunt

  • Code breaking

  • Language recognition

Each day will have up to 100 points available per team.

If your regional administration sent out an application of their own, you should fill that out instead of this form and submit it to whoever they tell you to submit it to
If they directed you to use this form, just telegram this application directly to me (21st century rome). Applications must be submitted by September 27th at 11:59 PM EST.

Application to join:
Nation name:
Region:
Competitiveness Tier: Competitive(I'll be sure to be on every single day and contribute to the team)/Intermediate(somewhere in between)/Just for fun(dunno if I'll be on very much, but I guess I'll try a couple) - Choose one
Nations you would like to be on your team: (optional)
Nations you do not want on your team: (optional)

Please agree to the following statement by entering "agree".
I will not use the internet, friends, family, apps etc. to cheat:

The scoreboard can be found here

The following programs are approved for the pictionary day:
Linkaggie.io (recommended - collaborative in browser so entire team can work together)
LinkMS Paint (Windows)
LinkPaintZ (in browser)
LinkKolourpaint (Linux)
Please ask about other programs before using them

Read dispatch

I won't participate but I thought I share it here. (Hope it isn't against our RMB rules. I should read them once :p

Yeah. I hope that makes up for my past mistakes. However, I don’t think that the region is safe yet so I am going to stay here
