How are you?

That's good, a change is as good as a rest! :D

Did you go anywhere nice?

I'm all good here so far thanks.

I have to take Neonlake for his vaccination soon.

I'm not familiar with the part of Cardiff I have to take him to, so best to set off a bit earlier. ;)

Yeah, it was one of these programmes....

Join Singaporean scholar and curator Peter Lee as he examines four of history’s great Southeast Asian empires, charting their rise and fall and exploring their enduring cultural legacy, on Asia’s Ancient Civilisations (PBS May 3-6 at 7.30pm).

Thailand’s Ayutthayan Empire, Myanmar’s Buddhist Bagan, Cambodia’s ancient Khmer and Indonesia’s Majapahit would all play their parts in shaping the history of the region and beyond. The spectacular ruins they left behind – perhaps most famously, Cambodia’s astonishing Angkor Wat temple complex – are a testament to their prominence and power.

Visiting several such historic sites and revealing their hidden secrets, Peter also investigates how these mighty empires left a legacy of vibrant customs and traditions that continue to this day, while animated reconstructions bring their epic stories and legends to life.

Just to a restaurant, then another Place

And that's great!

Enjoy your trip to the unknown. Maybe you'll find a model train shop somewhere around there?

StrangeReal

Miners in Esthe have discovered a large gold deposit in the northeastern hills of the nation. Said President Nick Adams this morning, “This will provide a large boost for the economy, and we intend to use it for a burgeoning gold sector in the markets.”

OOC: Well, how was my first StrangeReal post? I’m on the map now, larger than I wanted, but I’m not
complaining.

Just got back! :D

Neonlake has had his vaccine! Yay!

He had the Pfizer one.

The only difference we noticed between our jab experience and Neo's was that Neo had to stay for an extra 15 minutes after the jab to make sure there was no reaction.

When we had the AstraZeneca it was literally 'in and out'.

Jakit wrote:Hey Eths!

Nice to know you're doing good.

Got my vaccine yesterday and I feel good.

As I said I'm planning to go to Spain and Portugal in September so looking forward to that.

Having a date tomorrow so going to get a haircut at the barbers!

Already met the girl once but this is our first "date"

Little bit nervous. Bought some flowers yesterday for her!

That's great! :D

We are hoping to go to Spain in July.

Portugal is a nice place to go well, fingers crossed your holiday plans work out.

Nice 'touch' with the flowers.

Try not to be too nervous, easier said than done I know. ;)

Enjoy those 'butterflies in your stomach'.

I hope it all goes well on your date.

We wish you the best of luck. :D

Get away from where you are right now. Your gut feeling may save your life.

No, as in I feel like I have something lodged into below my knee as I had a wound there 1 day ago.

I had a sharp, but tiny and thin wooden spike lodged into the wound.
