Mine was red with a white boars head and I think there were some lightening bolts.
It's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it.
Did everyone have a nice Easter?
Haha you're right! And he actually does his job unlike most WA Delegates. Or at least he shows me he does haha!
I had a great Easter. I worked at the radio station from 5:30am to 1pm yesterday, and am now a closet [black] gospel listener because of it! And the grandparents are helping me with rent until I graduate in December. It was discussed over a ton of BBQ. So overall - it was AMAZING!!! :D
How was y'all's?
Aw thanks guys
Mine was decent, whole family is out of town so I went over to a friend's family's place and got drunk with them and ate steak.
Bram, it sounds like you were the winner in this round! Steak and booze? yaaaaaasssssss.
Steak and booze, can't go wrong!
I guess you two don't know, but I'm in Moscow now. Catholics are a bit of a minority so I had to go to a French church, the service was in English but there were lots of Filipinos as well. When time came for communion they all rushed to the front like it was in short supply. I looked around and most of the (ahem) white congregation looked bewildered at the rush. Also think I met the Philippine ambassador to Russia. Anyway, after that I met some of my friends at the North Korean restaurant (all the waitresses hand-picked by the Dear Leader) and there had a nice mutton dish, the closest I could get to Easter lamb.
Still not as great as steak, though.
Zoterik - it sounds like you had the most culturally enriching Easter of all! And I didn't know anything outside of North Korea got out of there! haha
Feedback time! I'm thinking of beginning recruiting (for real) and I wanted your feedback - yea or nay? Or are we just going to keep our little group to ourselves? It feels a bit like a nursing home right now, and I'd love some fresh blood in here!
Thoughts?
What up
Pasong!!! I was just thinking about you today! Welcome back buddy!
Let's keep it up! :)
Holy hell, I go to work and come back to find seven messages. I thought I was hallucinating. Great to see you again Pasong! McV/SAth, if you want to recruit, I'm sure you're free to do so. We don't really have anything happening, and I think a lot of us have plenty to do in the outside world, but if things start up again I'd participate as much as I could.
Let's get it on.
However, I don't even know how NS works nowadays. Should we have a forum, as well?
Also, it's great to have you all here again!
I don't even know what the hell banners are.
**I'll try to continue posting as McV, since you all know me so well by that name. :)
Zoterik- Recruiting wise, I've got weekends open now (march madness is over and done with at the station), and I can get in a bit every now and again. No rush!
Fontelian - I'd be ok with a forum board again, but maybe wait til we get more people so it's not a waste? #thoughts
ALSO - For the "old fogies" of NS - switch in your settings for the theme, "Antiquity". Takes you back to simpler times, and it so much easier to navigate. Banners, though, yeah - I'm not sure on what those are for either haha! But, I am glad they've made improvements to the game. If you're still not too sure, catch up in the News section in the sidebar; that's how I caught up after being gone for years.
On a side note - I'm glad the gang is back! It's been too long. :-)

We still have the old forums if we want, but I think for now we can safely leave things here unless we do get many more people and need to organise our conversations. At present it's a bit extraneous.
Also, I talked a bit with Font about this, but if you guys play on Steam, it might be fun to arrange a few contests. He and I both play EU4, Civ, Total War. I'd say it's possible to have a few Sapientian Gaming Sessions, or whatever else. I remember something on the forums about precisely such an idea, but I don't believe it ever happened in reality. The time zones are another issue; we're in Brazil, Moscow, Philippines, Tennessee, and wherever else. Not the easiest thing to arrange a time that works for all.
Well, it looks like this year's April Fool's Day joke is an election for WA Secretary General. I voted for the guy who promises a potato for all. I like potatoes.
