The name of the nation originated from after the "End of Talot Control" Coup took place, when former president of The Error Union, 223w, asked The Celtics what name should the then newly established state have, and the ruling monarch of the Celtic monarchy responded with "The Halfworth Commonwealth" and that was how the socialist federation got it's name!

The Halfworth Union

Obviously inspired by the name of a now extinct irl nation, the Union of Halfworthian Socialist Republics got its name to further distance the current state of the communist nation from its former democratic state.

The "End of Talot Control" Coup

A few of the union states part of the commonwealth, specifically the first union states, were once part of The Matriarchal Republic of Talotia. The Talot federation at the time was causing unjust wars, and the Errorish at one point had enough of it! They did a coup, but spared the Talot government. President 223w established the Halfworth Commonwealth. This began the very difficult history of the nation, but we'll only describe the most important parts of it!

The Fall of The Error Union

The Error Union used to be a prosperous nation, but since it was ruled by idiots, the nation didn't last long. The Error Union used to have a lot of influence throughout the Error Isles, but once the government made it public that the region had Spirit Crystals, the government attracted a lot of attention to the region! And soon, with the help of the Errorish government's stupid decisions (like declaring wars), other nations started gaining territory and began using the spirit crystals for their own personal gain, but The Error Union made sure this did not last and stopped shipments from reaching their destinations and took the spirit crystals. For a long time, the Errorish would try to keep spirit crystals in the region, even though this did not always work. The Talots would soon arrive and the Errorish, along with a bunch of other nations, would join the Talot federation willingly. After the "End of Talot Control" coup took place, and the Halfworth Commonwealth was established, the Errorish would immediately go against the very nation they created. This decreased relations between them and all other union states. This would lead to the eventual fall of The Error Union when Dives Patriae along with allies invaded the state and ended the communist nation once and for all.

The Communist Cleansing

The Federative Republic of Dives Patriae soon had a democratic revolution and many union states supported the revolution. When tensions within the federation grew, a war began between the communists and the union. But the communists would lose the battle, and the democrats would gain a lot of influence in the federal government, and all communist states within the union became democratic states. The commonwealth had hope for peace after this, but a certain little union state had other things in mind.

The Bluecosmic Wars

The Bluecosmic Wars was a series of conflicts that happened over a short period of time between the commonwealth and Bluecosmic, a former union state. These conflicts occurred mainly due to the fact that Bluecosmic would not give up their claim on The error turkenian socialist republic. This would soon lead to Bluecosmic becoming a puppet state of the Halfworth Commonwealth.

The End of Monarchy in the Union

Shortly after The Celtics had declared independence from the union, Loptia-Donotia was the last monarch union state left. But it wasn't long before the monarch rulers died, and the monarchy fell. Then a provisional government was established. After that, the HPT Director changed the official title of the federal states from "union states" to "union republics" which will remain for quite a while.

The End of the Halfworth Commonwealth

The Halfworth Commonwealth was doing fine in the war with Orlys, until New Crato Xerinius invaded The unirstatean socialist error republic, which was part of the commonwealth at the time. The UAF responded without approval from the commonwealth and that led to New Crato Xerinius declaring war on the commonwealth, shortly after, the communist coup took place, and the democratic government was overthrown. The communists ousted the Halfworth Project Team and replaced them with the Revolutionary Halfworth Project Team. The Halfworth Commonwealth came to an end, and the Halfworth Union was established shortly after.

The Phobian Coup

One day, Josef Stalin (whom was the Federal President at the time) mysteriously disappeared. Since the government was still in the midst of reorganizing at the time because of the Communist Coup that happened long before this, Stalin's absence left a huge power vacuum. This caused many factions, with the two biggest being the Commonwealth and the Union, to fight for control of the government. The Congress of Halfworth Unity, and the RHPT were left as the remaining parts of government that hasn't fallen. Desperate, they are forced to accept help from Phobos Drilling and Manufacturing, another nation. In exchange, Phobos was allowed to put Mikhall as the new Federal President. This was the beginning of Phobian rule of Halfworthia.

The End of Phobian Rule

One day, Mikhall attempted to make the first step in his secret plan to turn Halfworthia into a market based economy. He tried doing that by allowing market in one city. However, this would go against a constitutional law. This would lead to his impeachment and later his disappearance, and the end of Phobian rule. A war would begin between Halfworthia and Phobos, leading to an eventual peace agreement. After this, Stalin would attempt to become Federal President once again. But an incident would occur that would taint Stalin's reputation.

The Present

The union now prospers and is still recovering from the wars of the past. But as of now, the future looks bright!

From flat plains to mountains, there would be regions such as Erro (a region consisting of Turkiye, the Caucasus, and a part of the Middle East), Siberia, and Central Asia. And a piece od Africa thanks to Suron joining the union.

Halfworthia would soon begin the Diveon Project. Which would unite all of the economies of Halfworthia into one. Ever since, the centrally planned economy that used to thrive strictly from tourism would become a self sustaining economy. Especially since the Worker Democracy structure type for companies would be implemented by the government as a new mandatory structure for all Halfworth companies.

The United Armed Forces (UAF) is made up of all militaries of the union states! The military is diverse (in terms of training and stuff), but all troops wear the same outfits with the same insignias! More information on the UAF can be found it's official dispatch (which is literally linked in the beginning of this paragraph)!
