Oi, You! I'm Running for LC! (But Not Literally, Because Exercise Is Terrible) - Local Council Campaign #1

It is I, Auphelia.

Did you know that I am running for the TSP Local Council? What an exciting prospect!

I have never made a campaign before, and I don't have the posh graphics like the others, but I will do my best.

Here are some questions I asked myself when trying to come up with good ideas for why I am running, since no one else had the courtesy of asking me anything.

So, Why Are You Running?

Because TSP is wonderful and needs good and dedicated people to be a part of it. I am occasionally active on the RMB, and can hopefully be there to spread good cheer and stymie the attempts of Nazis and whatnot from interfering. Also, I want to make polls. This entire campaign might just be a ruse so I can make polls.

What Do YOU Have To Offer That No One Else Does?

Nothing. There are people who are active more than I am, and have better ideas than I do, and are generally better candidates in every way. But . . . there is no but. I sincerely believe I would do a good job, but I have never done anything of this nature, so I have not a clue how effective I would be.

How Would You Increase Forumside Activity?

This is a Local Council election . . .

Fine. How Would You Increase Gameside Activity?

I would try to make more polls, because they are quite enjoyable but the current administration is lacking in quality and general competence. Mmmm . . . polls . . .

How Effective Would You Be Against Spammers, Trolls, And The Like?

Well, if I were trusted with a ban hammer, let us just say there wouldn't be much trouble. However, even I probably wouldn't trust myself with that power. It is convenient that the Local Council are given Suppression Shields instead.

Has Anyone Supported You?

Well, Not auphelia seems to, despite being my nemesis, support me. We love each other. Also, Norman the Turtle enjoys my company, if that counts.

Are You Planning On Overthrowing The Government of TSP?

Whaaaaaaaat? Of course not!

How Active Would You Be?

Well, seeing as I have developed a slight addiction to Nation States, fairly active. Mostly in the middle of the night. And the middle of the day. And the morning. And the evening. Not during brunch, though. That is my sacred time.

Are You A Good Person?

Well, there was that issue of "kidnapping" the TSP Llama a while ago (I prefer to call it "surprise adoption") but no charges were filed, so I would say I am.

Why Should A Person Vote For You?

I'm not beholden to any parties, I am running alone and free of outside influence. Also, I love this region and want to work to see it flourish. And I am awesome, so this question is irrelevant.

Can We Trust You Not To Abuse The Polls?
